I still remember someone giving my Deadmau5 random album title on CD and changing my computer wallpaper to a badly written message on MS paint saying to listen to it. Saw Mau5 as a sideshow to Fat Boy Slim and never regretted going to that stage. Went to Hong Kong to see him play at a nightclub with maybe 200 people there. Unbelievable time you picked it alright and this vid captures it perfectly! Ughhhhhh and that segway into the reward is cheese. Take me back!!

What deadmau5 did was obviously revolutionary. Electro house was still more club music and not big room. Joel took that and added electro clash which was big at the time and put it all on steroids.
