Working full time in a Dr office and regret all the time I got a degree in business and not computer science. Going to start my path today with A+, planning to study for an hr a day during my lunch breaks! I’ll revisit when i pass the exam 😊
Just decided on and am beginning my journey into IT. I find it serendipitous that I begin just as they released a new test version. Very excited to learn along with these videos as they come out; thank you so much!
Getting started on my journey towards IT, I'm very excited to see how this goes. As someone who struggles with money, I really appreciate the free resources here :)
THANK YOU PROFESSOR, it’s been a minute since I’ve used my certificates using CompTIA and this was a BEAUTIFUL refresher. I love the interaction and highlights, it helps my attention and clarity a lot compared to treading a virtual textbook. I’m applying for an IT job tomorrow through a exam and then interview and feel much better having your reviews! Wish me luck y’all I’ll update this when I get results
Hello, im very excited to tell you guys and to professor Messer, that as of today I will start my journey toward IT and much more, i will keep you guys updated, good Luck to everyone. 😁
I started the google certificate and midway learning I found this information on the compTIA A+ . That’s what I was looking for !!! I am soooo happy. I started learning today. I am excited. I totally comprehend the way prof. messer is teaching the topics. I am going to watch one video a day and take notes by myself. And work trough it. I ordered the test pdf from professor messers website and before I am taking the official first exam I will test myself through theese tests. Thats my approach …. Someone said it’s doable! I believe I can do it. Thank you so much for the free content here on RUclips. I know I will be ready and skilled when I have worked through the information. Thank you so much . If this will work out it will change my life!!!!!
Just finished the playlist yesterday and took your practice tests.. averaged and 80-85 on all 3.. that being said I got a couple weeks before I can actually take the test so I'm back for round 2!!
Thanks so much for your dedication to making available content to your viewers. Thank you too for all the materials and practice exams and all the study groups. I earned the A+ with your help so thank you good sir. These new videos are great because I can add to what I have already learnt for the evolution of the IT roles out there. I am going for Sec+ next and thank you so much for the Sec+ help too. I would love to know if you have any practice exam for that too. Cheers J Messer 👍👍👍
It's been 10 years since i graduated and i haven't been into IT since. I decided to pick it up again, and these video's are a great tool to either get started again! Thank you so much for creating them. I wish i had tools like this back in 2011
Starting my journey into IT. I know a fair amount about computers at a basic level, but who knows what I might learn from these videos? You don't know what you don't know right?
Firstly I would like to thank you Professor Messer for making your videos free to all. I can't afford to pay for a course and people like you provide a wonderful service to the world, so thank you. I have a question if I may. Could you please tell me how much more there is to learn on the new comptia exams compared to the last ones released in 2019 (220-1001 and 220-1102)? I have nearly completed the course you made for the previous comptia exams and I just wondered if the update is huge or the fundamentals are the same with some new advances etc? Thank you.
Just started and I can’t wait to honestly finish it, I have short concentration span and I love how the video are short and coherently explained. I can’t wait to finish the class and apply for my computia a+
I'm working through these. Very insightful! It's connecting a lot of dots in my mind when it comes to understanding modern technology that I work with but don't really understand.
With migrating from HDD to SSD and copying everything over, are we talking about a laptop that has a place for both drives, or having the SSD in another system, or plugged in externally for the OS installation, etc, and then installing it into the laptop in place of the HDD? I mean for any of the examples given here, including moving the image from one to the other.Thank you!
Can I just say. You have a real skill and talent for teaching. I assume your videos are scripted with how concise and clear you convey ideas. But just wow. Incredibly impressed with how well done these videos are. Love the slides as well. 10/10 would recommend to anyone seeking this kind of information.

A question about the drive migrations. Can a user jut drag and drop data from the original HDD to the new one without imaging file by copying and pasting?

A question about the drive migrations. Can a user jut drag and drop data from the original HDD to the new one without imaging file by copying and pasting?

Question: is a drive to drive image the same thing as a clone? If not, what's the difference?
Clone, image, duplicate, ghost, and other terms are commonly associated with a sector-by-sector or file-by-file backup of a file system.
@@professormesser Awesome! Thanks for the speedy response!
Would the cloned upgrade to an M.2 drive create any friction with respect to the Windows OS EULA?
I was wondering that too. Also, is it possible to clone windows to an SSD from a HD with only one license?
