I've only watched 15 minutes of this vid thus far, and all I can say is Jack,.....Seán...so much truth in your words. So much of your narrative is truly helpful even if you don't realize it. This is an older vid, but to this day you are still a genuine kind hearted, intelligent, and thoughtful soul. Keep doing you, because it means the world to people like me.
For me, this was far more terrifying than the original simulacra.
I struggle with severe depression, and the idea of something consuming you because you don't feel good enough, not being able to stop, voices telling you that you'll never be ok: it was all a bit to relatable for comfort. The visualization of things I struggle with daily was very unsettling.
The thing that made it better was Sean's commentary. The reevaluation of the voices, reminding his audience that you don't have to depend on something to be ok. I just wanted to thank him. All of his comments are really encouraging, and that's one of the biggest reasons I watch his videos.

Sean is such a good person and I completely agree if someone is asking and asking and your just giving and giving. It won't actually help in the end you can only do so much for a person but in the end they have to make the change.
Social media is basically people to vent to about personal things to the wrong people. Some things you can't vent about to strangers, because they don't know how to respond and that's what therapy is for. They help you improve yourself in a healthy way and set goals and dreams to work towards. Like if you have Social anxiety or have trauma and have an anxiety disorder and need to learn how to self love again. Other things like that and get in touch with your doctor if in need for medication to improve you. Nothing is wrong with needing medication to settle your mindset and have more control of one's self emotions. If you have a hard time getting in touch with people because of the past or have raging emotions with mood swings and feel out of control with them and your life feels like it's falling apart please see your doctor and organise ways to get help and see a therapist. Seeing one doesn't mean something is wrong with you. It's a professional and supportive place that provides help to people to help you improve yourself of your own free will. You don't have to tell them stuff you don't want to. Tho the more you tell them the better help they can provide for you. And considering how many lessons you have with them and how you pay, and you want the best possible help tell them everything you can.

Anti is way more than that. not sure what he is exactly but definitely not just haters if at all. I believe the character is an amalgamation of certain factors, yes, (most noticeably Seán’s fears, such as being stabbed).

Hey, I'm sure this will get buried with all the other comments down here but I just needed to say a quick thanks. When Jack talked about the friendship problem with giving too much and the part of replacing life and interactions with the internet, the general online world for acceptance or to he validated, to feel part of something. It really hit home, and I've got to say I'm glad someone said it, because I've gone through that but it's so hard to put into words, I'm really glad it's been put out there for the people going through this kind of situation. So thank you so much Jack! I'm so very glad I got here and watched through this, it really made me feel happy and extremely glad that I managed to pull through! So thank you!! Thank you very much!!

Ok I have a theory. If you didn't watch Jacks previous video called "Quit the Game to Win" then you won't understand this comment well so go watch it and come back. Have you watched it yet? Great. In the end of that video, he stares into the camera for about 3 minutes with a little commentary every once in a while. he kept saying things like "Quit the video right now" but later while watching, it's as if he wants us to keep watching till the very end. Here's the climax. In the last few seconds of that video, he says "Great, You have passed the test. Now onto the next phase" but the video cuts in the middle of him saying the word 'phase'. This video is the next phase. Notice how in the last video he wanted us to keep watching but in this one, the video is called "Take Your Eyes Off The Screen" Even the description of this video gives us some information. It says, "Can you look away from the screen long enough...'' Long enough for what? I might be looking into this too much but if you read the whole thing, then thank you. Tell me you're thoughts and theories. They might help us all unravel this mystery.

Good theory but what if anti is trying to brain wash us because of the end of quit the game to win and the take your eyes of the screen is jack trying to help us not get brainwashed by anti so anti could be creating an army to fight darkiplier since those two don’t get along well from what I’ve seen I might be wrong about that but it’s just a theory
Nice connection, could this be Sean’s Christmas present to us? Who knows, but I really think Anti is coming soon. Also, did you notice that these 2 videos revolve around the creepier side of things? Or that things don’t always go your way? I really think it’s a hint about anti being in a future video. Who knows, he could have a ‘secret project’ planned for Christmas that has anti in it. All we can do is wait and see how this pans out.
This is so sad, because Teddy reminds me so much of my brother. Videogames are his escape, a coping thing. He understands videogames, and they don't get mad at him whenever he doesn't do something right.
Sometimes I just wish he'd understand that distractions only work for a bit, and that he needs to deal with his problems without someone being a reporter for him and others. He thinks that everyone should understand, because everyone feels how he feels at times, right? And sometimes he feels as though no one can understand, and that everyone else is just lucky, while he keeps getting the short end of the stick.
I just really want to reach inside the game, and tell Teddy that it's okay, that things will get better if he deals with his problems properly. That not everyone, not even videogames, can solve things for him. That videogames are only a coping mechanism that will slowly become worse, and become something that he needs so much it becomes unhealthy, if he doesn't solve his problems without them.
I just- gosh I feel for him, so much. It really hurts when he says that the player's life is perfect, that they can't understand him.

I think the reason why it's called "Pipe Dreams", is because the "Pipe" refers to the FlaPeeBird game where you need to jump and avoid bumping on the pipes, and the "Dreams" refers to how Teddy wants to be on the top of the leaderboard and that his dream is always being on top and always being wanted. Idk, that's just my guess😅.
