Opa amigo tudo bem?
There wasn't much of a patina, he rubbed the paint off to the primer. I like that he tried but he went straight in on the rubbing and the pressure washer had no power. I give him credit getting it clean but in end u can see where he rubbed the hell out of it and messed the paint up.
Chemicals were a little weak , not judging that karcher but a bigger pressure washer would be in order . I detail trucks and a good pass with truck wash first then APC . Then the car cosmetics.
This is a very unprofessional cleaning of the surface of an old car. Now all the beauty is scratched and still burned from the milling cutter of the high-pressure machine😢😅
You need a higher output pressure washer to kick that stuff loose. And you sound like you’re dropping a deuce with all that heavy breathing while scrubbing.
It would have been interesting to see what @WD Detailing could have done with this car. I suspect it would look a lot better.
O yeah
Brasilia??
It's got that Brazilian Beetle look....
60s front fenders with '68 to '72 tail lights
And VWoB wheels.....

I love that you left some of the patina. use 1/4 linseed oil and 3/4 spirits for rust locations. You will love it.

Pressure washing a car of this age - easily 50 years old -with still its original paintwork is not advisable. I cringed when watching this footage.
Sabão ácido?

my thoughts as well, very harsh job on this old car
Very nice job now all it needs is clear coat , now people no painting old cars they like to keep the patina
Mantap
You would have used steamer!!
Older style headlights. What's up with that?
Obviously not an "American Beetle" probably in either Europe, or South America, I guess.
It is a Brazilian beetle. Germany sold the pre-1965 moldings to them. Observe closely. Those in the know will know.
Degreaser and ionizer would of stripped that crap off in seconds
👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👏👏👏👏👌👌awesome job

He should have used degreaser
It does create an impact on the single stage paint coat but then again…. You’re right degreaser works best on this kind of caking
It's got wrong front wings, it's a 12v 4 stud bug.
Dankeschön! 😍
Not a very good job, took too long to remove a lot of the dirt/moss...wasted a lot of water
Seems like a fraud. How come this is an abandoned car with these shiny bumpers??
This not How to clean a car
