How tall are you ?
I am 5"11 62kg can't really decide whether i should get an M or L i'd love some loose oversized look tbh. They're both like 64-66 cm in length could you help me out?
Given your height I think either size will give you a hard cropped look. If you're getting a Non-WIP Detroit then looking for Tall size adds like an inch to the length of the jacket. Given your weight and height I think an M will give you a well rounded oversized fit, but it you have broad shoulders, go for an L. Hope this helps!

Yes the Carhartt Active Jackets are a lot larger than expected - I usually wear large but I will have to wear a medium or maybe even a small for vintage ones. It depends on the model that you buy. I think the shortest that they can get are 27 inches collar to hem so maybe you will need an L.

I'm also thinking of grabbing a J97, but i'm wondering what sizing I should go for, I'm about 5'9 and 150lbs, would a Large look too wide and baggy on me?

To answer your question, J97s tend to be quite roomy since they were made for layering.
So for ref I'm 5'7" and weight around 160lbs and J97s in an L are really roomy for me and perfect for layering with lots of space.
Given your dimensions I think that either an M or L would be good. M for a more fitted look, L for a more loose fitted look.
I am 5 feet 5 inches tall and weigh 60 kg. Would size S be okay?

@@mescobar8801 I'm 5"7 and a little bit of a broader body shape.
Dimensions of a Large Regular J97:
Pit to Pit - 25"
Collar to Hem - 25.5"
Generally regardless of size, Collar to Hem for all Regular J97 and older Detroit coats are 25.5" unless you buy a Tall which would be around 27". Pit to Pit is the dimension that changes with size.
Honestly, a medium would fit me but I want a large for the option of layering a hoodie under and a medium would be a bit too tight for the look I want.
