How to Install a Coffee Machine Flow Control Device

Here in this video Luke shows you how simple it is to install a flow control device into your coffee machine so a barista can pressure profile espresso extractions. The device Luke is installing is a flow control unit from Quick Mill and he's installing it into a Quick Mill Rubino Plus home espresso machine.
If you have an E61 group style espresso machine the process for this installation will be much the same no matter the brand. In fact the Quick Mill E61 flow control device can work on many other brands that have an E61 group head.

Good morning from San Francisco. Two Questions: q. Sometimes, my pull runs fast. Other times perfect, other times too slow. Is ONE of the purposes of this flow control valve to salvage an otherwise blown shot pull? Secondly, I have a Rocket Appartamento. Will this unit work n it, or do I need something proprietary to Rocket? Thank you. I have leaned so much from all of you at Artisti. I’d love to travel there for classes and motorcycling.
