I think she was the first woman to do a spacewalk and helped fix Hubble, head of science for National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). She then went on to be the first woman to descend to the Challenger Deep. I've only met her once at a small extended family gathering but was completely knocked out by her. Incredibly smart, human, concerned about all aspects of the planet, powerful and gets things done. I try to buy Glass bottles as much as I can. I recycle as much as I can. I have trapped over 250 feral cats to be spay/neuter and released through the ASPCA program but not as much as I would like to. We may not be able to do it to the level of Richard Branson but if you can just bring your own bag at the grocery or just have a small one with you so when you go to the store you can say no thank you. If we can all do that then together we can make an enormous change. That is a documentary called "Starfish Thrower". One change is one difference.
