I've been following a comic that uploads one page once a month for two or three years now (Humor me) seriously don't worry too much about uploading schedules guys just make sure to be somewhat consistent. My best tip is prepare a lot of stuff and post in batches. Like prepare the chapters of half a season and then spread those out to post with enough time in between to buy you enough time for you to work on the rest of the season.

My story I was thinking of writing is just about how people with different disabilities and disorders struggle to do daily tasks. How it's hard to make friendships or relationships, it'll have drama about dating. Different teenagers in school gossiping, And family issues. To show mental health and trauma in different ways and spread awareness to different things people might not know about. Not sure if people would actually read it.

This has become so beyond useful for me! For many years I’ve taken in so much advice such as yours and it’s truly wonderful, as much as it seems like a bad idea I have the whole script, every sentence of dialogue in my head, all the cliffhangers, thrills, secrets. I’ve been developing a story for over 5-6 years now since I was around 12, I’m going to be 19 soon and now I feel so beyond confident and excited in starting this webcomic. I've been working on a comic to post on Webtoons, so I clicked on this video the second I saw it in my notifications. This is so helpful. I've already been writing it out, but somehow I didn't even think about the rest of this stuff like the layout or even the image size. I feel like that's probably something that trips up most newcomers though, not thinking about everything before posting.
When eight teens make a wish in their darkest moments, something decides to grant them with a twist by sending them to another world every night leaving them to fight corrupt spirits with unnatural abilities during the night and try to find a way out during the day.
It's a bit long and maybe not the best, but it's really hard to condense a story into just one sentence.

I've honestly been thinking about making a webcomic myself recently. I've been writing and editing a novel I made for a couple of years now, but I have never actually made it public. 😅 it's only been for myself tbh, but watching your videos have given me some confidence to at least make a visualization of it on krita.
I loved the video very informative. I'm getting an Ipad and plan on starting a webtoon. However, I like how you put this video together/format. I was wondering if you have any tutorial video suggestions on how you edited/animated your character to transition into the different poses you drew while you were talking.
This has given me inspiration to maybe start on the comic idea I have had for awhile about my oc’s. It’s wholesome, it’s gay and it’s set in the 1960-1970s. I have just had no inspiration

Here’s the logline: What do you get when you have two roommates in their twenties living together? You get a bunch of shenanigans and enough fluff to make a Rom-Com blush. Also, they wear matching ties!
I release the first episode next week on Saturday!

Alright so a few questions. I've had a comic I've been wanting to do for awhile and I feel webtoon is a pretty good app to do it on. But I'm having trouble, for 1 how can I better advertize my art one social media? So far the only people who look at my art are family, friends, and art spams trying to get money. Another thing is good places to find 3D models so that its easier to prep certain poses, and when it comes to putting it into a slide format how exactly would you do that? I am but a lost sheep 😅

Posting on social media and building a small following before starting a comic is a smart idea bc it gives you a preexisting audience! WEBTOON doesn't really have an advanced algorithm, so it's hard to get followers organically on the WEBSITE unless the staff decided to promote you.

As for 3D models, I recommend getting Clip Studio Paint!! It has an asset store with thousands of free 3D models. There's also Acon3D, Sketchup which also has an asset place (Sketchup Warehouse) and more stuff is out there but currently not coming to mind XD.

Yeah I know it's pretty long plus it isn't all that exciting but man. There are LOTS of drama in this. I mean, it is a story based around musicals, acting and pretending to be something you're not. Being in the spotlight or escaping from it. Yeah :D

Here’s the log line to my webcomic known as “funny fire-ant adventures” it’s less serious then most web comics and leans more towards comedy. anyways the main character is a fireant who is half human. The log line goes like this
Funny fireant or known as fireant is a curious and adventurous fireant with a dream to have everyone know his name! Watch as he goes on adventures with his friends or battles with enemy’s. My logline: After defeating the devil, Johnny thought his life would be perfectly normal, but the demon refuses to leave, continuously challenging him to competition after competition in the hopes of winning his soul, although why the devil is so desperate to claim it, he doesn't know, even as the power struggles of the underworld begin to have creep ever more into his no longer peaceful life.

6:30 Here’s a reason why I don’t like the traditional format on webtoon-
It’s looks kinda crowded on a small phone screen, and you kind of see the entire scene at once. You don’t really scroll at all because half of the chapter is already there, and all the panels are very small because it’s in a traditional format. It feels weird on a webcomic and I always have to switch to a bigger screen to read them
Also even though I don’t plan on making the webcomic anytime soon, this video was really helpful! :]

I've been thinking about posting a webcomic/webtoon. I'm still working on my charcters and story but here is my logline - The Dragon's Successor is the one who knherits the powers of the most powerful dragon of all time, Ugen, but is the latest successor, Gala really wothy of its powers and does she really deserve to sit on the throne of Dragons?- Hope you like it.

The progatonist will join a group of scientist and warrios with the target of fighting, in a very dangerous situations and envivorments, all the creatures, and brings his long-time-lost brother at home....
It's kinda a space-fantasy/apocalyptic plot. Obviously, there's something else.. 👀

Me and my friend started drawing a comic and making a REALLY COOL fantasy story (LGBTQ+) and then when we couldn't see each other much i started to write the story
And we want to make it a webtoon, but its a lot of time and work :(
(And i would prefer if my friend draws it because she knows how to draw way better than me, and its OUR series, i dont want to do it and say its mine)

Yeah WEBTOON's thing is kinda like- they don't have a super advanced algorithm, most of the series that get promotion are hand picked, so posting on it can be hard unless you already have a preexisting following and/or get promoted by them. Which is why self-advertizement is important!! I'm happy you like this kind of content!! :'D

Like I don’t mind quickly writing down my thoughts for ideas or quick changes to the plot (I use notion for that btw) but I like to work visually and like creating a PowerPoint just sounds like such a win win for how my brain works omg!! I now feel super motivated to work on my webcomic tysm!! 😁
A friend of mine has convinced me to turn my idea, heavily inspired by Sword Art Online, into a webcomic so this is very helpful! It sounds very similar in the logline but it’s got more aspects from other games too!
As for my Logline: “Trapped and fighting for their lives; After getting stuck in a VRMMORPG, Raelyn is determined to get her and her friends out alive, even if that means running headlong into major conflicts, both literally and figuratively.”
log line: Eleonor, a teenage girl saves her crush by being the victim of a truck accident wakes up in another world, now trying any kind of death possible till she reaches her right reality
My longline would probably be : Gabi and Sev have always noticed things others didn’t, at first they thought they were crazy. But maybe, maybe they’re not. Maybe they need to peek between the gaps in this universe, or rather, this fabricated universe.

my logline for my first ever webcomic (i prob won’t start posting until spring): When Jade’s parents are killed and she realizes that they were awful people, she decides to move in with their murderer and become a quasi-hitman herself. Amidst a world full of heartbreak and pain, can she and her newfound family find happiness?

Several years ago there was a warrior by the name ARMAND He's the protector of his country he fought evil to protect his village and bring justice but 1 day a group of evil people raided the village the great warrior armand tried to fight back but something hit the village and everyone was teleported on this new world the great warrior died of bleeding most of villagers managed to survive thanks to him as years went by in this new world the women's lost the ability to give birth and the population is decreasing everyday and as more years went by people life span decreased to 31 and it went even lower as the years went by then finally the lifespan turned into 19 the population has been decreased alot 97% of humanity is vanished the only people were left are the youngsters who are around 16 years old now it's their story at they fight hard to find the truth about the teleportation incident and fix this world
My Webtoon is about a Soldier who made a mistake and got innocent people in the process, after losing his wife and his child being terminally ill he's got nothing left to live for and now with the added guilt, he's skating on the edge of life and death whether by his own hand or by someone trying to take revenge.... I really like your content, do you maybe want to do a collaboration?
