    I have the same Voltmeters and figured out that they sometimes don't turn on if you have the relay supplying the +12v. I switched them to have constant BAT +12v and the relay now gives them the ground side and they turn on perfect every time.

      It's a slot port. It runs sideways across the back of the box and fires into the rear drivers side corner. He did a video on it.

      @@JerryAintloud cool I didn’t know those could be used with cmax, thanks again much appreciated!!

    • @JasonWW2000
      @JasonWW2000 Год назад

      @@2000Rpz The CMax is a lithium ion 3.7v nominal. You want an active balancer that supports lithium ion such as: NCM or Lipo (preferably with a case).
      Most of the balancer also work on LFP or Lifepo4 since it's close in voltage, 3.2v nominal.
      When they detect a large enough difference in voltage between the 4 groups it connects the highest and lowest groups together through a resistive load. So your not losing hardly any power, it's just moving it around. Once all 4 groups are within a certain closeness, say 0.005 volts it goes into a sleep mode and consumes almost no current. Something like 0.001 amps. For a big battery like a CMax or any big battery your not going to notice any drain at all.
      I don't know what model you have, but the specifications should list its current consumption. You can also use a DC clamp meter to see what current is flowing through it. One wire might show 1A positive and another 1 amp negative and they should all equal out.

      Pro tip :
      Friends don't let friends use any screws !!!
      Use " nut inserts " & bolts
      Nut inserts bite into wood / baffles & won't back out & 💯%
      reusable & won't cause " hogging out of wood / baffle...
      My bad poor choice of words
      Tip, screw, nut, insert, bite, wood, hogging out
