My vegetarian friend use to cook provolone like this. He said that bacon was the one thing that he missed from his carnivore days and he was always tempted by it. The crisped provolone tasted like bacon to him and if he could get a smoked provolone he said it was even better.

They taste just like cheezits if you do cheddar. One very, very easy way to do it is to sprinkle some finely shredded mild cheddar cheese into a pan on top of some fries, put your oven on broil, and burn that cheese! It tastes amazing, especially with some hidden valley ranch. 😊
