Reaction Drake Bell - In The End (READ DESCRIPTION FOR CONTEXT ON WHY THIS WAS A TOUGH SONG)

I was constantly SA, R word, & threatened as a child so listening to this song was not easy for me. This line “Wake up the monsters in your head have left you all to yourself, its alright” really made this song intense for me because going through something like that, well it sticks with you. Its on you on how you want to deal with it but I found this song really helpful for my mental because it’s a way to ease the trauma on my bad days. I’m extremely grateful for drake bell for telling his story because it gave me the courage to be more opened with my story.

If I had been an adult when this song was released, I would've said "oh this kid is crying out for help." This song screams that he was suffering. Back then I may not have assumed abuse, but definitely depression at the very least. I'm thankful he had this outlet, but man, I wish he had gotten mental health help back then.

Bro as a victim of sa most of my childhood I get it but I didn't let that define who I am as a grown man but it still hurts and it will always be with me until I die but I made my peace with it and I know it wasn't my fault and its not your fault along with every over victim out there.
