    A little hint from someone who has worked on stage plays with bright lights, everyone should wear thick tight tshirts or even Lycra swimshirts under their uniforms to smooth out the wrinkles in the clothes and.... other bumps for a smoother cleaner more tailored appearance to the uniforms.
    Even a regular well-fitting t-shirt does wonders in smoothing out bumps, nips, and helping hide lines from belts, pant waistbands Etc and can basically press other things into a tighter, fit looking shape.
    Even the most in shape actor looks better with this smoothing effect when there is this kind of harsh lighting that can cast Shadows off of nips Etc, it's more flattering for everyone.

    Good quality uniforms, props, and set really help any fan film, but having the commitment and the passion for the show really shows through. You obviously don't just pay lip service to the official series, but a definite tribute and more.
    My only niggle is that the sound sounds a bit hollow ish, hard to describe, but you get plenty of Brownie points back for having subtitles for deaf old duffers like me.

    • @Potemkin1711
      @Potemkin1711  3 месяца назад +3

      @scottofengland it's my understanding that RUclips automatically generates closed captions. Am I wrong about that? We had some of our earlier episodes closed captioned, but it took a lot of work, and when we learned RUclips did it automatically, we were relieved.

    • @scottofengland

    • @Potemkin1711
      @Potemkin1711  3 месяца назад +4

      @@helenofirvine we really like these uniforms we moved to a few years ago. They look great on camera. And our captains have their own look these days. Captain Harper's bomber jacket is the same as Captain Kirk's from Star Trek V.

    • @markc7440
      @markc7440 3 месяца назад +2

      As well as any variation in the uniforms simply down to the individual ship captains having their preference, and I presume group / fleet commanders too, the role out of any new uniforms may start with the flag ship or diplomatic ships first and then introduced to others over time. Plus you often get some Chief Petty Officer or similar who is too attached to the old uniform and somehow avoids having to wear the new one.

  • @Xan3119Aizen

    I'm trying to figure if you could make it work with your timeline but it would be cool if you did your own episode like in Picard season three where they were on the run from Starfleet and they had to break into Daystrom station... That would be so cool if you took a crew of fearless officers in there and instead of some of the stuff we saw you would see some of the older stuff like the garb from the mirror universe or maybe different iconic items from earlier in the series... And maybe see these officers use some of these cool items from the station!!!!!!! just an idea
