I’m awaiting the Scorched Earth episode (especially now that ASA has weather events approx every 15 seconds) where Phlinger gets caught out in a lightning storm and gets struck and immediately is transformed into Bon Scott or Brian Johnson and breaks out into a rousing rendition of Live Wire or Thunder Struck!! As a life long AC/DC fan and a fan of Phlinger’s for the last few years I’m actually quite looking forward to it and kinda wishing for it every time a Jerboa calls for a lightning storm. 😂

I never played Sorched Earth until now. I think I've died more in the first day than in 100 days of the Island. Things like the whip and boomerang are so awesome. Love your content. Thanks so much!

On the island my base was in the maw, which had heatwaves of 56C, so I gave my char 60 fortitude for that. It seems on SE that with primitive cloth and 60 fort, the only time I overheated was inside a non-adobe building. Now I have ascendant desert cloth, and I literally never get hot.
Your map is bucolic compared to mine. Running the route you took in video 60, I ran into two Rex's, four dire wolves, and a host of raptors, all without an herbivore anywhere in site. Spawning in other locations, I died many times of "regular" heat (that depletes health) in about a minute. I eventually found a place where I might be able to make stand, but man--your game's nothing like mine.
It may partially have to do with my starting at Level 1--and dinos have been added since you started. I love your work, but sure wish your spawns were similar to mine so I could better learn how to play.
As someone that play official PvP. I decided not to live on Scorched Earth. That map should be called Scorched Earth: Hell
Did play it before asa. Back then, in ase it was like very little plant earth

Close to green ob there’s quite a few there. Just be weary of pigs and micro raptors. I was able to find 5-6 nodes right above the ridge before green ob.
