For all those having issues with water draining and need a little extra heat resistance you should look into Cactus Broth made in the cooking pot. It last for 10 mins each and does the following. Exact values are 100 Water restored instantly, -50% Water Consumption, +60 Hyperthermal Insulation, and reduces maximum detection distance to 12 meters. and its pretty cheap to make. 10 × Mejoberry 30 × Cactus Sap 10 × Azulberry 10 × Amarberry 1 × Water
Welcome to the new and improved Scorched Earth where if the critters don’t kill you the non-stop weather event’s DEFINITELY WILL!! 😂 Scorched Earth looks really good, but the whole weather events thing is more than a little out of whack with how often they are just kicking off back to back. Keep up the good work Phlinger!
Phlinger might have a secret plan that involves collecting good metal tools from drops, taming a pack of hyaenodons, collecting deathworm horns, and taming a pair of a certain creatures to get an imprinted one for better stats.
I just up/downloaded my ASA character into Scorched Earth! Thanks for the detailed instructions a few episodes ago laying out the process. I'm now working on establishing my foothold on a bluff overlooking the Green Obelisk pond!
Oh man, great episode. Loved the dry "really" when you turned the corner to stare a scorpion right in the face while trying to trap the argentavis. Phantastic! I cheated a little and ported two over from The Island, because I spend so much time breeding and imprinting a small army there. You got the stone, the sandy beaver, the first argy, now an anky is really needed and I'm already looking forward to a speedy-uppy build montage in adobe... May I suggest the area around the red obelisk as a base location (cannot recall if you have built there for us before)! It is close to the scar and wyverns are definitely on the menu, right?!? I'd love some exciting egg-stealing and -hatching, soon, and I'm very curious if they have changed any of the mechanics from ASE. Don't ask me why ;-P I'm not saying I'm a great ARK solo player, but I've got some hours under my belt. But re-visiting the wyvern scar of SE in ASA was very intense! I forgot everything I knew about wyverns and was just slaughtered right off the bat, when 4-5 wyverns ganged up on me. RIP hauling argy and really nice desert gear: my corpse fell straight into the lava river. I totally forgot how fast wyverns can go. On second try I remembered their terrible turn radius and took revenge with my battle argy one-on-one, mano-a-mano! And now I even have a couple of wyvern eggs. But I don't dare to hatch one without being sure how many torches I need and if it will survive to adulthood...
Can someone tell we why you can't go back and forth maps on singleplayer. If I go too se and try to go back to the island all beds are not working. Have too spawn in random spot. Then all base's are locked. Have to leave tribe too get back in.
I agree it feels a little off, I seem to remember being able to "lunge" forward more then jumping straight upwards. Maybe they changed it to make better use of the vertical climb, but horizontal mobility seem hampered a lot on the "plains"...

I'm thinking Rockwell should have named his Cactus Broth recipe, "Edmund's Tequila Sunrise" or something similar.
or find good clothing from caches. Have about 1k heat resistance, lol

You have been doing ark video for 6 years or even more and i respect you alot❤
Great video totally enjoyed watching you play this the weather is a bit brutal 😊😊
Anyone else noticed that the weather events seem constant compared to ASE? My Jerboa constantly cries.
"Nailed it" 👍

Tammy is a great name for a guy. 😂
How does the imprint time that you have to wait so short mine is like one hour and 25 minutes
Did they change the way thylas jump? Mine jump now like they are climbing all the time.

@@TheMalT75 Must have been the last update bc it jumped normally before that. Phlinger isn’t going to like it, thylas are his favorite.
WC nerfed the Thylas jumping ability. Procoptodon is the only real "jumper"now. 😞
