I'd say I'm pretty good with IA, taxonomy and Search in SPO/OnPrem - shame Modern Search Web Parts isn't baked in to SPO OOB...

This webinar was fantastic, thank you for sharing. 2-3 years on since posting, does much of this solution still stand tall in 2022? Or has Microsoft filled many of the search gaps with out-of-the-box solutions?

Thanks Mark for the very useful demo. Unfortunately the steps you describe to add the modern search refiners didn't work for me. I could add the SharePoint App just like you showed, but the new modern search web parts still don't appear as available for selection, even after 24+hrs. Is it possible there's an extra configuration step that needs to be performed perhaps? For info the App now seems to have been renamed as pnp-modern-share-parts and is currently at version 3.8.0.0. Appreciate that this isn't a support forum, but I mention it in case others have a similar experience.

What was your solution for this problem? Our company has never had a SP expert in house so the installation appears to be mix and match somehow.
