    This is literally the most useful guide for this. I'm so surrpised that the creators haven't put something like this together.

    Good video. I have one question. I have added a column to my pages in the page properties called "Wiki Page" (Yes/No selection option). What must be in the Quary template so that now only the pages are searched where the "Wiki Page" is "Yes"?

    I have a question to ask with regards to Pnp search filter. I've chosen department, and on it shows all departments for example IT and so forth. Our company is a Charted accounting firm and there's department like Business and Advisory, Consulting, Audit, Finance, IT and EDP. How can I add in this department? Is there a way I can edit and add this departments?

      Hi Facundo, You can use site:"[site URL]" or "Path:[site URL/*]" in your query.

    Nice presentation. Could you please explain if we can use static set of values(say 5 different default drop down options) in search filter rather than connecting it to search results web part

    Excellent material, I understand, I can also use this search to create a people page for my intranet, do you have a video tutorial about it?

    Hi, Is it possible to get a message on the search box when there are no results. Instead of getting "0 results for xxxx" i would like to have a personalised message like "Please contact.."
    thank you

    Hi... thanks for the demonstration. it was good .... but in my case, it's not showing me all my sites for the PNP-filter search.. why is it so? any help is anticipated.

    • @SearchExplained
      @SearchExplained  2 года назад +1

      It will only show those sites which have any result in the result set.
      For example, if you search for "modern", and you have any result for "modern" on site1 and site2, then site1 and site2 will be on the filters list.
      However, if site3 doesn NOT have anything for "modern", site3 won't be displayed as a filter.
      I hope this helps.

      @@SearchExplained thanks for your reply... well this issue will raise if that attribute is refinable.. but in my case, I was doing a bit wrong, I thought that all the properties that are already available in the field dropdown are pre-refinable but this is not true we have to make them refinable by going into scheme pane... this tiny step helps me to resolve my problem. thanks again for your reply.

    Beste agnes, net geprobeerd mijn eerste zoekpagina te bouwen. Bij de koppeling van de zoekbox aan de zoekresultaten, wens ik een query toe te voegen: enkel zoeken op deze site. wat vul ik in na 'searchterms'?

    • @SearchExplained
      @SearchExplained  2 года назад

      Try to add this to the query:
      Path:{Site}
      See more here: learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/technical-reference/query-variables
      I hope this helps.
