Mr a game underestimates batteries the big boy battery contains 13 times more juice than a normal battery and that's quite a lot and they're generator so don't underestimate them.
Something I found out about gloom weapons is that if you drop them and fuse them to a different weapon (the one you're holding can't have gloom effect) then you just get a really strong gloom weapon, without the toll. I've been fusing gloom weapons to broadswords mostly

I love how everyone who plays this game and sees the great orbs immediately calls it a Death Star. Before I stumbled upon the launch-the-block-into-the-deathstar puzzle in my playthrough, I may or may not have done some absolutely legal dealings with a Yiga footsoldier and acquired a massive spiked vehicle that I then added to my auto build. I came to said deathstar puzzle from a completely different angle and bypassed all the islands so I had no idea of the intended way to push the button. I auto built the vehicle, which was heavy enough to press the button. I got the chest, dropped the crystal, and completely ignored the other islands in that cluster. I didn't discover them until hours later in my playthrough when I realized the intended route. I won't say that anyone should align themselves with the Yiga, but there's nothing wrong with acquiring a few friends.
