What did you guys think of the voice acting? I was Sergeant Brooks.
Excellent. Very convincing command voice.
TheNorthHawk Nice work!
Was very very good :)
To be honest, it was the only good thing in the movie, but it was *really* good.
Pretty much all voice actors did amazing job.
you were amazing
"Be a space outlaw, Lex! It'll be fun; they said."
10:40 i see what you did there...
Well done sir, that was epic!! err... IS epic
zeus anoxia "well done sir, that was epic!" - king fu panda avatar. Holy fucking cringe.
I think you cringing over a kung fu panda avatar is even more cringe tbh.
Thanks to everyone for their support of Little Armada and Terallian for making an amazing film! Without your support this would not have been possible! This is Private Pelton, sounding off! o7
I can't watch this on my computer, I waiting until I get home - putting it on the big screen with a fine glass of Radegast. CONGRATS THIS LOOKS AMAZING
Dan Gheesling Radegast? Are you from Czech Republic?
If Dan Gheesling is here then I must be in the right place.
12:34 epic IRON PRICE!
Hologram effects for face shields need to be a thing.
If so, I am going to get a voice changer to sound like the captain in the game.
"Jesus, the death toll would be... damn. So what's the plan?"
"Well private, I'm glad you asked. The plan is to find out who designed COMBAT HELMETS with NO PERIPHERAL VISION."
Flun Dinger "I can't see a thing in this thing" - Luke Skywalker
Private Hodge reporting in wanting to thank you all for the fantastic amount of support for the film and the future. You are all amazing :D
10:40
CIG PLZ HIRE ME
Lol
loved that part!
what is CIG ?
Cloud Imperium Games, the company behind Star Citizen.
J 3lack O thankyou :)
Just hire him
Fantastic and shared with my RUclips Facebook and Twitch followers!
And i love the voices from some content creators....
This type of show will hopefully one day be on Netflix just like Red vs Blue.
LOVED IT: Side note, my only lines were this is our fight.... but HEY LIP SYNCED!!!! I play Alexander Hayes. Cannot WAIT for Ep 2!
10:45 my fabourite scene. Worth watching this just for this. I love the way he talks and his accent
That hangar entrance was really cool. I laughed pretty hard when the guy's computer screen said "CIG plz hire me".
10:40 excellent way of applying for a job 👍😉
Best fan made production I've seen yet. Outstanding work!
Utterly amazing. Well done. someone hire that guy!
MVP of the year. Thank you for this beautiful piece of art and thank you for your effort. Community appreciate. :)
also, that vg launch @12:15 made me giggle.. ^_^
To Be Continued, for those waiting the ending is forgone conclusion, UEE Marines will prevail, but it's story telling that make this so compelling to watch.... great story, great production, thanks Terallian
Or will they? ;)
Glad you enjoyed!
As expected... This is utterly amazing! Brava Sir Terallian and my fellow cast and crew! Hopefully it honors the community and the franchise creator's admirably (I feel it does!). More fun adventures on the way!
OMG how good is this.. So professional and immersive. Great job Terrallian and true to the SC universe.
I've got to say i love this. Probably one of the, if not the best fan made short film I've ever seen. The only thing bothering me is that the landing gears aren't up when they are flying around.
Great job guys! Looking forward to next episode!
In the large and amazing world of Star Citizen fan creation, THIS is a master piece.
This channel and content is criminally underrated.
^ This comment is criminally accurate.
Dude. All i can say is fuck yeah!! Mvp worthy here
You just got a new sub!!
So freaking spectacular man, great work!
This is very impressive. What a tallent.
gooosebumps all the way through specially when the uee close air support comes in! jeeez! good job guys! very amazing.
This is honestly some of the most attentive and superb artwork I have seen in any sci-fi franchise.
These guys may be taking a long time to get this game out, but they are certainly putting forth their best effort. And are working very hard and with great passion to perfect this game.
WOW... THIS WAS EPIC!!!!! I can't even image the kind of work that it took to make this video. My jaw dropped on just the sheer quality of the animation sequence based on normal gameplay. Great job!
Really hope CIG is seen this!
They did! It was shown on the Anniversary livestream for MVP. :D
Astonishing work :) Oohrah!
Awesome! Really enjoyed it! Thanks so much! Now I have to go tell all my star citizen buddies to check it out.
Cant wait for part 2!
Atkinson is my name, vent climbing is my game lmao.
Middleton doing all the shimmy shimmy. c:
10:42 CIG Please hire me? lol
Better than the holiday live stream.
Pretty sure almost EVERYTHING was better than the livestream quality
Amazing! Inspirational! Super Fantastic! Eagerly looking forward to Part 2. Suscribed.
Loved the Irish dude. "I'm stuck here in a fuccing vent" x)
even more gutted I didn't make the cast now, Awesome job by all the VA!
I got you bro, Free hugs :)
This was really really good! I loved when you jumped the ships in and the sabres quantum jumping away from the hangers! Very nice!
Oh my god! One of the best scifi short i've ever seen
Wait till you see our second part. Super, super soontm.
can't wait for it, Im a child before so much epicness, I will support your channel as soon as I would have received my pay. Keep on going! It's really really good (sorry if my english looks weird or something hehe)
Wow, just wow! Great job! Must have been hundreds of hours work!
Hehe, "CIG plz hire me" on that screen. :D
Awesome work ! - cant wait for part 2
great job mate, also i totaly i gree with your message in the minute 10:41 ,good lucky!
This is amazing! I did how ever miss some wider shots in which I got an idea of where the characters are in relation to each other and to get a general setting of the environment. But further more,... Keep up the good work!
Thank you! I'll keep that in mind for our future installment. :D
I had goosebumps at one point..
Looking forward to the NEXT episode!
how the hell do u guys pull this off...the animations and cgi is outstanding...not even bothered with the story...love how you guys do this
a lot of all nighters on my end lmao, but the animations are by CIG
Terallian ok so do u extract the data out the game and then make ure own with it
Terallian that means u guys can hack the game right
Star Citizen-FAN absolutely, that's me, tera the malicious suprr hacker CIG should cower in fear :')
Terallian so there is no need to buy this game....cause hackers can can crack it
Great work Terallian and everybody in this film. I am really excited for the next episode now. The Idris looked awesome by the way!
Wow, thats really good. look forward to more. Voice acting was great as well. Congrats.
Excellent work
What you've done is just amazing. Thank you!
Check out Part II if you haven't already! :D
Amazing man.. CIG should employ you to work in their cutscenes
Tincho Pockorny I'm down for that ♡
Really Amazing ! Thanks for this film ! Can't wait tout see the next !
One thing that I reccomend: Please pull down the lids 10-35% lower, the eyes are reaching uncanny valley while they're that open.
I wish we could do that.
Amazing! On par if not better than anything CIG has come up with! Even though some of the ship assets are a little outdated, still awesome stuff! Can't wait for next installment!
That was absolutely beautiful. You sir are gifted. And you've earned a sub
Wow, well done!! An awesome project! I'm looking forward to the next episode!
This is TOO GOOD!!! :D the voice acting, the assets and animations... great just Great! :)
"Locked down tighter then an ants asshole." That was the funniest thing I've heard all day.
Really well done.
subscribed to this channel a while ago not expecting much but I'm pretty impressed, keep it up!
"Knee deep in shit creek."
Holy shit one day I will say that.
Holy shit broham.... HOLY SHIT!
No!!! You can't just leave me like that!!! Wow. Just wow. I have never seen such a well made, labor intensive fan project. Everything, and I mean everything, was spot on.
I do sound design, live mixing, have several connections to people capable of voice acting, and have a close connection who has offered me full access to his professional recording studio if I ever need it. I also have a couple years of experience in 3D modeling and lighting, as well as video editing. If there is anything, and I mean ANYTHING, that I could do to help with future projects, please let me know!
P.S. I sure do hope CIG hires you, per the message on the screen. That was so clever :D
Hey! We're hunting for a character rigger above all else right now. If you know anyone, send them my way! Terallian@gmail.com
Sorry for such a delayed response. I am not a character rigger myself (I have tried, it is just one of those things that I can do, but simply cannot enjoy) but I have a few stings I could pull to find one. However, in order to refine the search so someone that can actually help you, could you answer a few questions?
What software are you currently using/expecting to use for the rigging? What type and how many polygons are on your meshes approximately? Does this rigging include fabrics and humans, or just mechanical parts? What software do you require the rigging artist to have to join your team?
If it is alright with you, I will include that information when I start asking around. Hope to hear from you soon!
HedgehogPro Tech Maya or 3DS Max, it's really up to the artist. I'm unsure of the exact polycount on the meshes, but they are considerably high. the rigging includes just humans. They will need Maya or Max with the CryTools plugin, as well as CryEngine 3.8.6.
WOW ! Just amazing ! Can't wait for the next installment of this story.great work ;)
Awesome job!! Can't wait for episode II :) Well done!!
Very nice work! cant wait for the next installment.
This was awsome ! good job to anyone in the team ! :D
Rohgen Thanks!
I wish this could be the next Red Vs Blue or something like it, a mini serie staring some group on the verse
Soooo this was awesome!!!! Well done guys!
Why haven't we received even a trailer for S42 yet... gah the community will be what makes this game a living thing, go get em
Wow I'm stunned! That sooo good! You all did an excellent job on this.
Are you excited that the camera and animations in the game will make it easier to create things like this.
Ainsley Harriot nope, we make no use of the actual live game assets
Terallian When the game goes live, they made the camera for people like you. It allows you to get really good shots out of the game and mixed with cutscenes like this could be super amazing.
Ainsley Harriot ahh yes I'm aware but we just use CryEngine to make these, not Star Citizen
Terallian yea I'm sure in the future you would use the game when it's better suited. The combination of the two would be so good since u guys do a pretty good job.
Terallian will you ever do a tutorial on how do this using cry engine
lmao "Cig plz hire me" radio jam screen with the pirate that had lost comms
Very impressed with your work, wanted to do something like this for a while with star citizen but I couldn't have pulled off something that looks this good!
*whistles* bravo sir... bravo
The plot may be a little silly but it was certainly a ton of fun, good work. Its rare to see a fan project rise to this level of fidelity.
Amazing! You guys did an amazing job. Can't wait to see part 2
Btw, congrats on the newsletter's staff picks!
This is awsome, looking forward to part 2!
Dude this is so cool ! I hope that one day I will be able to make something like that. You got a new subscriber ! Congrats for this first awesome episode.
When is the next episode up? WHEN???
AXLplosion We're actually working on it now. And based on this first part it could take a few months. Please be patient and thanks for watching.
DosuMarushi VA Awesome, can't wait!
On the flip side, the set, characters, particles, theme... all set and done-- should take much less time.
Once the "Pipeline" is established it will go much faster. ;)
Said Chris Roberts.
Extremely well done. Amazing graphics and animation and superb voice acting by all parties!
Well done Terallian!
Great work! Best SQ42 work so far!
My only criticism would be that it's going from 0 to 100% and stays there for an awful long time. The small break with the main baddy asking for an update needs to be extended next time
Thanks for the feedback! I'll take this to heart while I'm working on Part II. :D
Awesome job everyone, great new series :)
visually stunning voice acting awesome
Great Job i've been watching your progress and i'm really enjoying the outcome, can't wait for part II.
See you in the verse!
Beautiful !
don't think I didn't see that "cig plz hire me" ;)
In retrospect it was a million times less subtle than I felt it would be lmao
i love coming back to watch this. I want MORE please sir
This looks like it will be a fun series! I definitely enjoyed watching this. I will say some research into military jargon and radio protocols (using NATO alphabet for example) will greatly enhance the realism of your stuff. Get a military adviser or something :P Really well done!
Cool. On a monitor it says ,,CIG Plz Hire me", and pointing from Plz two arrows pointing at NDS-A1 and THD_12. From this we could say that the future CIG employee wants to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement to port Star Citizen to Tegra 12 mobile devices :) The computer image clarified just in a few frames. Mabie you could spot more. Someone spotted Rattman in a single frame in the whole Portal so you could do this too if you have the right tools.
This was awesome - great job guys!
Great video really well put together. Congrats to all involved.
One word, "WOW"!
Wow that is epic! How you guys manipulate the engine like that! Excelent work. Have a sub!
we may not have a sneek peek to squadron 42,but at least we have this vid.as close as it can get.also what i like about this game is that textures and models are high quality enough for close up shots
You deserve a lot more views! i am sharing your vidz brother 👍
