It’s also so you don’t have to fully remove your leotard when you go to the bathroom. You can pull down your tights and pull the leotard crotch to the side.
I think the tights over looks cute, and seems logical to me. Especially if you’re practicing all the time, you can’t just be constantly uncomfortable. As an artist, I like to watch your videos and the lines actually help me see whats happening as you move which is really beautiful to me. Also, It would be cool to see a set leotard/tights designed to function like that. With pretty cut outs like some of the leotards have? :)
@@keneriifox7796 I mean for me if I’m having like a headache or cramps I love dancing so much that I forget about it but if it’s like a pain related to dance you kinda just smile through it
I only asked because I went to a recital and she needed up having a streak down her leg. She didn’t miss a beat though.. she just cried her heart out when she finished. This was at least three weeks ago. Dancers should be excused if they have bad cycles
It really does make sense to wear the tights over the leotards my only concern is that seam on the front of your tights doesn't work for myself i no it's probably much more practical
Under looks so much more professional and cool over just looks as if 1) Ur a adult that's starting ballet and wants to look cool 2) Ur the typical tall skinny professional dancer that always wears skirts and sweatshirts and likes to take their tights in their feet but you don't look like that kind so you look like the first option no offense
I'm not a dancer but I've always had the issue of tights crotch is at mid thigh. Thats probably why I would say tights under, it'll keep the crotch area at my crotch! Lol
You look great like that but I can't concur personally. It look better under the leotard. My tights never move from my scronny hips ever. I wear a leotard over them. I don't dance/perform, just want to be warm and have compression. Can anyone tell me where to get my 2nd leotard. I want one that doesn't pull up on my butt so tight. The one i got from Target is 12/16 biggest size they had. I'm just small guy, 5'6 100lbs. I feel like it need a Plus size to keep from being compressed by the leotard. Is this normal. Females and males please give some feedback here. I have no experience and everyone looks at me like a rapist when I ask about this cus I'm male. By the way,. Where's the like button on Short's
I notice skirts are worn more now than ever in videos, so it defeats the purpose or over and under. Is that because they’re trying to keep up with Tik-Tok - Gen Z?
I have done Ballet since I was two and my company makes us wear them under our 😭Leo

Literally relate so much I love tights over also it’s easier to wear a pad
Have always wanted to know how dancers danced through the pain

Underneath the leotard looks best
I like it over.
Under! I like the look. Over is ok. But under more complete
Under looks much better and more professional. Over just doesn't look good.
Iv always worn my tights under my leotards
Over is better!

I love your tights over leotard ❤ hope to see more ❤

Your absolutely right! ❤
I have to where them under beacause of comp but I actually would wear them under anyway lol
I guess I’ll be the only professional who prefers tights under. Unless it’s black tights.
It makes going to the toilet easier and quicker
It looks terrible. You can't see the leotard properly, and that seam! No.
As an ex ballet dancer (danced for 15 years), this is pure logic lol. 🫶🏻
This video got you a sub.

Over looks sloppy, the seam is ugly
Bro have you ever seen a professional dancer in a class?
Why wear tights in the first place
I notice skirts are worn more now than ever in videos, so it defeats the purpose or over and under.
Is that because they’re trying to keep up with Tik-Tok - Gen Z?
why are you distracting me
What
People who like, say like, like all the time, seem like unprofessional.
