Don’t blame the vendors, blame the government.
Same thing is happening at much large scale in New York and Chicago. This has become much like organized crime going two ways. There is always someone or some people in the government getting kickbacks from these contracts as money laundering back into their own expenses. This must be investigated by FBI as well.
The whole invasion at the border is endorsed by the Biden admin so don’t expect the FBI to get in the way. These are the future voters of the democrat party. That’s why they’re getting free stuff at the expense of the taxpayer. Democrats can’t run on anything so they break federal law and allow people to break federal law and come over the border. Can’t claim asylum without going through a port of entry and none of these people did.
They can just give whoever the FBI sends a piece of the action.
Whomever wrote the contract and signed it should be investigated. Also, he's very naive if he thinks no one could see this coming -- everyone could.

Meanwhile, I've worked in Massachusetts for 20 years and recently applied for unemployment. I used to make six figures. My current unemployment benefits are $0. Not much incentive to stay in this state

It's govenor Maura Healy who has handled this entire migrant crisis & is doing a pretty good job all things considered. I'd be willing to bet she's unaware of this but will research further. Give her a break...she's got an impossible job & has handled it well thus far

Oversight is the wrong thing to look at. We need to focus on providing more money to help our migrant brothers and sisters so we can continue to attract the quality newcomers that will help us thrive into the future.
