Watched many “music theory” vgm stuff and this nails it. Other RUclipsrs act like theory masters when they can’t even read sheet music…
I still set on repeat that one song that can be googled by the "zzz open world theme 1" for a couple of hours almost every day, shame it didn't show up in this vid, it's my favorite by a huge margin.
Also that's very clever of hoyo to sponsor people who analyze(and inevitably glaze) their music, they know their strength.

It's REAL good. There are several tracks I wish I'd gotten to go deeper with, but it was important to me to at least give that one a cameo.

the combat music system actually kinda reminds me (at least from what you said) to how pso, psz and pso2 did their music, which in latter was named SYMPATHY system. I'd suggest to look it up for those who dont know, cuz its very interesting system that, sadly, got underutilized a lot of times...

After playing a certain new gacha game with an underwhelming OST through out, this video definitely restored my faith in gacha's games devs particular focus on OSTs quality.

I'm not very into dubstep thingy, but I'm interested with the dynamic music in the battle theme. Like, having 3-5 individual track that can be played at random and still match each other is pretty wild. I wonder whether they're going to experiment that kind of approach to their other games too, or it's gonna be exclusive to ZZZ.

I know you said the same people who made the music for ZZZ aren’t hoyomix but I must say the way hoyoverse prioritizes music is incredible. The enjoyment in playing their games gets doubled.

Honestly? I found a Reddit thread where someone had translated a post DMYoung made on Bilibili, where he was talking about working on ZZZ. I imagine there is more information available in Chinese than there is in English.
I really love these 5:10 sounds in music. I first encountered it with Tokyo Jungle and ever since I wish it was used more. Thankfully it's used in HSR Bronya's ult (perhaps last of us?) and now ZZZ!

There is a song missing on the bangblues music player in the room. I have no idea what the song is called but its plays during the battle stages. Can't ffind the song anywhere even online. I might just post a video of the song playing while i was battling and see if anyone can find the song.

There's a section in that "Quackjacker" track(as you called it) that starts at 11:55 in your video, and it sounds almost like a battle between the 2 sounds, but you cut it a bit short. It's my favorite section in the full track

Another hoyo game with bomb ass character themes, and another hoyo game where they go to waste 😞. At least the game soundtracks are so nice. I was hoping for diegetic music with Anby at the bare minimum considering her theme literally plays when she puts on her headphones in the demo, but oh well. I was just really hoping for once we’d hear those said themes be incorporated into combat, but I guess I’ll take my Robin ultimate from Star Rail and sulk. It’s even a bigger loss this time since ZZZ incorporates vocals (rap, opera, and rock from what we’ve seen), a totally unique and awesome direction for the urban aesthetic.
