Seanna's explanation and thoughts about the whole album is 🤯 given the fact that they know a lot about music and they do their research is amazing. Now, I'm excited and I wonder about what SVT have in store for us. (because I heard face the sun will have a repackaged ver) Thank you Seanna for this video. It made me understand seventeen and the album in a much detailed(?)deeper(?) Level.^^ so glad we have you as part of this fandom. Huuugss🤗
I love how you dissected everything and gave context on the songs especially for non-Korean speakers. Thanks Sean and Anna! This was very insightful and made me love Face the Sun and Seventeen more!
for Shadow, i think it's just really interesting to think about how if someone is closer to a light source (for this album, it's the sun = svt's goals) the larger someone's shadow will be cast. it's like, the bigger someone's ambition is and the closer they get, it's inevitable that their doubts and inner fears start becoming bigger/unavoidable. it can also mean that the road to their ambition to being the best will have many great challenges and fears. ANYWAY, THIS WAS SUCH A GOOD ALBUM REVIEW THANK U SO MUCH
I don't usually watch reviews (without reactions), just because I don't really have the attention span to listen to someone talk for x amount of time, but I watched this all the way through, and I'm sooo glad I did! It really gave me a new appreciation for this album
I’ve been waiting for this content since the album came out and I enjoy this very much!! I appreciate your hard work putting into researching and editing this video. Your explanations and analyses are mindblowing. Thank you so much seanna.
Honestly really love this review, as a carat who could only understand the tip of the iceberg with translated lyrics on Google, the theories and analysis on this review is god sent! Seannahae!
Thank you sm for another eye opening analysis. After attacca's one I have been looking forward to the next, and I am mindblown once again by your insights! As someone who knows nothing about music theory, I appreciate you guys sharing your thoughts on the music itself which I wouldn't have realised beforehand. As well as that, I also appreciate how you shed light on the lyrics. As music becomes more global, and breaks boundaries, more people start enjoying it without caring about what language the songs are being sung in (which is great!). But, what I feel makes svt's music even more amazing are the lyrics themselves, despite my lack of knowledge of the Korean language. I rely on translations, and from that alone I already get a sense of emotional depth and wit woozi's lyrics hold. I truly believe when it comes to svt's songs you CANNOT miss the lyrics, cause boi is woozi one hell of a lyricist, as well as each and every one of the lot^^
Argh the editing in this is *chefs kiss* and your outfits are so cute and your explanations are amazing--coco's parents y'all really out here providing us with top-tier content like this?! seriously though, what an awesome review!
loved the ‘bout you connection to oh my! because you’re in the correct time frame! woozi said the song was completed three years ago, so i wouldnt be surprised if he had started it around the time of ymmday
GOOSEBUMPS ON YOUR THOUGHTS BOUT YOU TO IF YOU LEAVE ME I cried at if you leave me cause its the reality which I cant face right now :( having svt means a lot to me and if you leave me is that hard hitting reality song. That everything roght now wont be forever because nothing lasts forever. :( GENIUSES LIKE REALLY ❗❗❗❗❗❗❗
thank u so much for the deep analysis and thoughts u shared in this video. u guys made me appreciate this album more and its always amazing how songs and albums can be this beautiful, it is art and i very much felt that when i listened to face the sun!!! thank u so much for this video 💜
All of my thought just came out from both of your mouth! Felt so good when someone put the right words and understand.. when I saw non stan or like pd, composers or just non carat disected seventeen album review, it frustrated me when they start to questions the compositions choices, track arrangement.. basically saying that the song is the bob, but it doesnt really goes by book.. seventeen has always from the older album, prominently from teen age album, always tells narratif through their album. Interconnected with each others, either lyrically or story., or even productions or vocal arrangement... each melody are always made to served it purposed... that is how detailed woozi and bumzu and also seventeen is.. when they said, they write it for the fan, it is really personal.. and they really meanit cuz only fan like both of you really explain the album well knowing the purpose and intentions of the song.. that is why I love seventeen... cuz their art seems like general and some even said basic, but little they know it was actually subtly custom made to the one they meant to sing for.. which Carat and we are just in our little world.. this is why you cant let otaku write a song.. cuz only otaku can recognize it hahaha (woozi tooniverse prof).. thank you seanna tv! You guys are the best! I love both of you!!
Watching this review made me cry so much coz both of u rlly said what i was feeling n thinking (yes lol am not rlly good with words that’s y am an art student🥲) i was sad at first when they released the tracklist n saw only 9 songs for this album when full-length albums usually have double digits but when i listened to the full album, i knew right away there was a reason: that svt was telling a story thru the lyrics n also thru the way they arranged the songs in this album…for An Ode, there wasnt rlly a direct storyline, it was just more of a compilation of songs svt is serenading carats but for Face the Sun, there’s a clearer storyline of what svt wants to say thru the lyrics n honestly, this deserves a lot of album of the year awards!😭 Repackage album does seem like a possibility so am interested to see how they’ll add more songs…but at the same time, i dont rlly think it’s necessary for a repackage for this…unless they include their ic solo songs😂 jokes aside, i’ll still devour all svt releases😭
05:53 YESS I LOVE MINT CHOCO. but i'm okay with others saying they don't like it. after all we could have a different preference ☺. and also your explanation is so LIT omo it's my first time seeing someone so dedicated about giving a review. Thank you so much Sean and Anna...
To be very honest.. I have been trying to read /study seventeen’s lyric for this album but I was not satisfied with any resource which I have come across. Thank you so much for doing this, it’s very insightful. I was having so many questions about why they chose to put the songs in this particular order and also what is the exact message (know a separate interpretation) about it! This really was a fun watch ! I’ll be recommending to my friends and I hope seventeen comes across this yt channel too 🫶
yessssss, I was waiting for this eagerly. I love how you guys always find the right references (external and internal) to speak about the songs. Seventeen always amazes me when it comes to how subtle they write the messages into their songs, sometimes it takes me months to realize what they're actually saying, even this album that is more "in your face" with the what they want to portray, the way they use musicality to express the meaning of the song, is impressive. Always adore your reviews and how you show different sides of the songs through lyrics, that otherwise, non-korean speakers wouldn't fully understand. Thank you for your hard work! 수고했어요~ Taennahae! 📺💜
Oh my god i was mindblown by watching your inside! Making me love this album more than I already have. My respect increased to SEVENTEEN they're so witty(is that the right word? Lol) with their albums. They have said many times that this album is the most honest one so far so yeah I can see that from the songs and you guys helped me to see it more! They're genius. You guys too!
Thank you for making such content. I don’t really understand Korean so when I listen SVT music I rely on my memory of when I read translations. Now thanks to ur analysis I can understand more and remember more so that when I listen to this album again i can feel more of SVT’s side, their emotions and thoughts. Thank you a lot. Your channel deserves more. Love you !
I think 'IF you leave me' is very hard to perform live stage but I'm very exciting at the same time 🥰 Please let us witness they complete this masterpiece in the future💎
I'm a new carat and your videos and analyses are so amazing! I really love the intricacies and hidden layers of lyricism and songwriting and appreciate you guys so much
Thank you so much for putting out an in depth album review! I used to watch another channel that did an album review for SVT, esp vocals/instrumental/lyrics wise, but unfortunately, they kind of stopped :( So, I really appreciate this a lot! I always enjoy when Carats discuss more of SVT’s musicality cos’ there’s so much effort put into their songs.
SEANNA THANK U !!!!! I was waiting your album review video so much! U put a lot and did amazing job with it!!! Also can I appreciate your editing how much information you put here !!! Thank u !! Also when Sean mentioned about Shadow part like album is Décalcomanie after this song it’s blowing my mind !!!! Thank u
Thank you so much for all the efforts you guys put in this video. It helps me a lot as someone who dont speak korean to get understand the whole album and the meaning behind it. Hope to see more videos like this 💖💎
What a deep analysis! Awesome, especially since both of you are Carats with lots of knowledge abt SVT and others. Thank you! Personally, I found it hard to move on from both failure and success. Seeing how brave SVT is in this album make me admire them more
This is such a great review, I knew the first time I listened to this album (with the English translations) that this is so much more than just a full album and I loved it so much. Your analysis were very comprehensive I learned a lot. Thank you for this ❤️
WE LOVE A GOOD SEANNA REVIEW!!! I appreciate all the research and work you put in, it made for a very good quality video. Now I want to scream a little about the source material for Don Quixote in hopes that someone in the comments will enjoy this information. The story of Don Quixote is about this simple man in his 50s who has decided to take up A Knight's Journey, because of all the romantic and fantastic books he has read. There is no clear clue as to whether Quixote's frantic consumption of fiction wore him down to insanity, or if the stories inspired him to throw reason into the wind and act insane because it suited his goal. (The goal in question was to prove chivalry isn't dead, through his knightly actions.) Quixote ends up meeting people and "helping" them on his quest, but it is all done through the lense of HIS reality. Normal people experience this man come through in outdated armor claiming he is a knight, who ultimately creates a huge ruckus. This is so accurately details in the lyrics in the song, where Seventeen says people are calling them crazy, and the onlookers are RIGHT, but that doesn't matter. Quixote lived this wild fantasy, often creating trouble for others in the process, but what mattered to him and brought him purpose was the thrill of his adventure. As you mentioned too, the wild energy of Don Quixote is highlighted even more once the song transitions to March. You have the riotous onward whirlwind of a man joyfully chasing his Impossible Dream in Don Quixote, and that momentum continues with a different energy in March. While Don Quixote is a reckless race, March is its opposite companion--a steady onward trek towards a fixed goal. March takes you forward with a consistent beat and unyielding pace, it's the image of a steady forward march through whatever harsh conditions may be thrown in the way. I interpret this as Don Quixote being the moment where the boys all look at each other and say "Let's Do This. Let's reach this goal, even if we look crazy, even if it seems impossible, let's GO." It's hopeful and energetic and feels like a troupe just starting out on their adventure. March in succession is their extended will, the fresh excitement of deciding to pursue a dream has somewhat faded, but in its place is a strong consistent desire to continue towards that goal together as a unit. Part of me wants to find a way to attach Ash to one of these songs, but the more I think on it the more the album order actually makes sense to me. In a way it could be telling a story that has already occurred for Seventeen, they may have decided to go wild in pursuit of a goal, and they have already reached their moment of Ash. Rather than Ash being their "now" and their declaration that they are rising anew to aim for loftier goals, they might have already HAD this revelation, and this is them telling us the decision that has already been made. There's so many ways this can be interpreted, but no matter what I can say with full confidence that this album has me shaking my Ash :^)
I really love your insights and analysis!! This album was really well done, i love all the songs and its theme.. Seventeen has really exceeded my expectations with this album.
Wohooo, what a great and thorough review! 2 weeks are worth waiting haha I'm gonna appreciate every song even more after knowing this hehe Thank you for your dedication to this video, Sean and Anna! 역시 Seanna 짱! Have fun on your trip to Korea, especially for the concert! Have a safe flight! I hope you can meet many antennas haha
thank you so much. this review is so deep and makes me understand things more clearly than before. I love how you guys explain and review the music in this album, and talk about their journey, and their thought in interviews. I really appreciate every thought you put into this review. I cried with happiness and how I think I can understand what seventeen is feeling while making every piece of music in this album as well. Thank you, Sean, Thank you, Anna.
I really enjoyed your review. Thank you for sharing so much knowledge. I also thought this album felt really realistic in the emotions portrayed and I appreciate how much work the boys put into this album. The stories were overall very connected from the titles to the imageries. There were many new sounds but it just shows how much they have grown & the confidence they have to experience with new things. Thank you for giving us an even deeper view into this album. 💙💖
This video is so helpful! Thank you so much for explaining the word play. I love your interpretation. Also, I’m glad you mentioned acapella. I have always wanted for SVT to do more raw harmony (I’m a Cassiopeia too, and TVXQ/JYJ is so good with that 😌)
wow been waiting for this and i'd say this is my favorite reaction to FTS whole album I always love that you guys took time to listen, analyze (very deeply and throughly at least in my opinion) and even deliver it to us with good editing ^^ thank you Sean and Anna!
How cool So interesting to hearing people trying explain about the meaning of Svt's album Iam enjoyed a lot Thankyou so much ^^ I will waiting for another review about svt💕💕💕💕💕💎💎💎
i really love your videos. its really well produced i would say😁 i appreciate all of your efforts that you put to every single video that you uploaded on your channel. thank you so much!💗 stay healthy and happy!!🥰🫶🏼
Thank you so much for this! I really appreciate how your insights and interpretations show that the album is very much on theme and cohesive. I've read comments before that the album felt random - and I'm like - heck, no. I love how Seventeen's music has always been reflective of their "phase in life" - owing, of course, to the fact that they compose and write their own songs.
On first listen I was also curious why the songs were in the order they were. But I really do think everything they do with their music is intentional!
Its geniuss 💯👍 I dont realize the meaning of the album really well so I waited for your video 🥺 hope pledis watch your video 🤭💯 Notes : 24:13 Sean and anna main vocal era 0:24 "Thesis" 👌💯
I also like how IF you leave me has so much voice over laps that it’s almost impossible to sing without another person, like they’re saying if you leave me my life will be incomplete
This was an amazing review. The editing was great, it made your comments so easy to follow. Your insight was really moving and even tho I've already been listening to the album on repeat, it made me even more excited about this album. Thank you for the hard work and love you put into this❤️
this is so amazing! you guys are so amazing! truly mindblown. thank you so much i also had a lot of realizations after this and appreciated all of the songs more. thank you very much for your effort! it really gave me goosebumps! 👏💖
Thank you so much for this!! I think the wait was woth it. I got the same feel from the album, but you showed me some new poins and aspects. Thank you for giveing context to a lot of thinks! And I love the Maddie reference!!
Ah! The Helios sun-god one, Greek myth! When I saw Hannie's wings, I totally thought ICARUS but apparently it can also be Phaethon?? Gonna look that up now
Best review!!!! I kind of understood there was a story behind each songs but I never really thought about it deeper.. the way you two explained it was very amazing and mindblowing to me hahaha. 💙💖 when I listened to ash lyrics about new world it just reminded me about the intro from teen age album😅
WAIT- when I first saw DARL+ING MV, the color I thought of was the shade of cotton candy ice cream. I’m talking about here in Korea, the baskin robbin’s pastel pink, yellow, blue. In fact, the flavor can match the vibe too: very sweet, yet there’s something hidden that is unsettling or there to shake the atmosphere (the pop rocks lol). What do you think??? It’s my favorite ice cream here. *ALSO* hi~ I heard you’re going to the concert in Seoul. Is it the one on Saturday 6/25??? I will be there!!!! I’m bringing my Korean friend! I really would love to meet you guys! 🙏🙏🙏
When you said "every artist is afraid of losing followers" I was like, no, not really *flashback of Bigbang's "if you like someone else, leave"* 😂😂 Anyways, great review, thanks for all the details 😁😁
Seanna's explanation and thoughts about the whole album is 🤯 given the fact that they know a lot about music and they do their research is amazing.

We're so glad you liked it!!
Wow. It's like a masterclass. You guys are so big brained. I love this album even more now
Thank you sm for another eye opening analysis. After attacca's one I have been looking forward to the next, and I am mindblown once again by your insights! GOOSEBUMPS ON YOUR THOUGHTS BOUT YOU TO IF YOU LEAVE ME
I cried at if you leave me cause its the reality which I cant face right now :( having svt means a lot to me and if you leave me is that hard hitting reality song. That everything roght now wont be forever because nothing lasts forever. :(

Wow! How much time, sleepless night, energy, brain juice to create this content! Love it! thank you!
Wow! I've understood the album in more depth. And I've had more appreciation for SVT for making such a masterpiece. Your analysis blew my mind.
this is the best album breakdown ✨😭 gives me so much depth and perspective on how svt built this album
Watching this review made me cry so much coz both of u rlly said what i was feeling n thinking (yes lol am not rlly good with words that’s y am an art student🥲) i was sad at first when they released the tracklist n saw only 9 songs for this album when full-length albums usually have double digits but when i listened to the full album, i knew right away there was a reason: that svt was telling a story thru the lyrics n also thru the way they arranged the songs in this album…for An Ode, there wasnt rlly a direct storyline, it was just more of a compilation of songs svt is serenading carats but for Face the Sun, there’s a clearer storyline of what svt wants to say thru the lyrics n honestly, this deserves a lot of album of the year awards!😭
Repackage album does seem like a possibility so am interested to see how they’ll add more songs…but at the same time, i dont rlly think it’s necessary for a repackage for this…unless they include their ic solo songs😂 jokes aside, i’ll still devour all svt releases😭
05:53 YESS I LOVE MINT CHOCO. but i'm okay with others saying they don't like it. after all we could have a different preference ☺. and also your explanation is so LIT omo it's my first time seeing someone so dedicated about giving a review. Thank you so much Sean and Anna...
your analysis of Shadow gave me chills!!! thank you for all the effort
Good job guys! This has been the best Face the Sun album review I have come across.
I’ll be recommending to my friends and I hope seventeen comes across this yt channel too 🫶
Thank you so much, that’s so kind!! I would love if they could watch our album reviews someday 🥹

This deserves more views. Carats need to see this. Made me appreciate the songs more and how the album is more cohesive than it seems.

Thank you so much for putting out an in depth album review! I used to watch another channel that did an album review for SVT, esp vocals/instrumental/lyrics wise, but unfortunately, they kind of stopped :( So, I really appreciate this a lot! Thank you so much for this kind comment, it makes all the hard work making the video worth it!
Thank u so much for this detail analysis, love it ❤
I really enjoyed your review.
I have always wanted for SVT to do more raw harmony (I’m a Cassiopeia too, and TVXQ/JYJ is so good with that 😌)
"I have a thesis"... alright im prepped and ready to listen
THIS VIDEO IS SOOO WORTH TO WAIT, THANK YOU FOR UR AMAZING EXPLANATION!!!
THIS WHOLE ANALYSIS 😭 Thank you so much for thiis 😭😭 ❤️❤️❤️❤️

wow been waiting for this and i'd say this is my favorite reaction to FTS whole album
I always love that you guys took time to listen, analyze (very deeply and throughly at least in my opinion) and even deliver it to us with good editing ^^
thank you Sean and Anna!
How cool
So interesting to hearing people trying explain about the meaning of Svt's album
Iam enjoyed a lot
Thankyou so much ^^
I will waiting for another review about svt💕💕💕💕💕💎💎💎
This is my first video that I was watched and it's very cool. I can understand what the album abouts. Your lyrics analysis is so perfect
i really love your videos. its really well produced i would say😁 i appreciate all of your efforts that you put to every single video that you uploaded on your channel. thank you so much!💗
stay healthy and happy!!🥰🫶🏼
Thank you! I loved this video so much and your analysis and input. I have a new appreciation for if you leave me.
@@seannatv Yes, I agree...:) And also, you did a great job with the editing - I enjoyed this very much!
Its geniuss 💯👍 I dont realize the meaning of the album really well so I waited for your video 🥺 hope pledis watch your video 🤭💯
Notes : 24:13 Sean and anna main vocal era
0:24 "Thesis" 👌💯
The breakdown is so cool !! I love watching this explanation!!
I also like how IF you leave me has so much voice over laps that it’s almost impossible to sing without another person, like they’re saying if you leave me my life will be incomplete
I'm coming extremely late but I just want to say your video has helped me appreciate the album and seventeen SO MUCH MORE. new subscriber earned!
We're so happy to hear that!! And every comment is welcome at whatever time, we worked way too hard on this video for it to have a comment time limit
This was an amazing review. The editing was great, it made your comments so easy to follow. Your insight was really moving and even tho I've already been listening to the album on repeat, it made me even more excited about this album. Thank you for the hard work and love you put into this❤️
I really enjoyed watching your review ㅠㅠ

Seanna vocals wow
when I listened to ash lyrics about new world it just reminded me about the intro from teen age album😅
Thank you so much! EVERYONE needs to watch this video ❤️👏🏼

A new subscriber right here🙌🏻
Thank you for this reaction!
Thank u for the enlightenment. Its amazing and well put together.
WOW!! YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING
I still can't get over how the "도시 위에 cowboy" line in the chorus of March sounded like "told you we are cowboy" like damn
The shadow interpretation got my brain fucked …. Wow ….
Another banger, Seanna! ❤️ you
(25:29) This is Joshua's part because in the highlight medley it was him (ruclips.net/video/6NUiGHwLhbM/видео.html)
Oops! Thanks for the correction 😭
When you said "every artist is afraid of losing followers" I was like, no, not really *flashback of Bigbang's "if you like someone else, leave"* 😂😂
Anyways, great review, thanks for all the details 😁😁
👏👏👏👏
