She’d be a sugar baby not a sugar momma .
She was with the hosts.
Shes a bit of both
55 million yen is about 350,000 USD.
ah yeah? What is 3 cents then!?
In an interesting twist in this story: Two of the men are married and the judge has a fake degree.
Horny men and their money I love it
Nothing new
I have many friends that got married to gold diggers
One has lost 2million in the last year to an illegal Brazilian
What a fool

@@vibecat4899 nope its one reason feminists annoy me. prostitution( honest women ) is illegal and they whine about boobs in video games but never go after sugar babies and gold diggers( the real criminals )
I lived in Japan. Host and hostess clubs are not strip clubs. They do have strip clubs but they are not called host clubs.
If there is proof in the emails or messages that she invented false reasons for needing the money to convince them to give her the money then it's just like people who pretend they're operating a charity while pocketing all the money. It's called fraud and it's criminal. If she just asked for the money without lying and they gave it to her, then it shouldn't be a crime.
This is why I never trust dating apps!
That is an indescribable level of obsession.
Sugar baby vs sugar "mama", what absurd lack of accuracy in telling these stories
i know right? this one is riddled with holes, both in the story _and_ in the comments lol
This takes the concepts of friendzones to a whole new level. 😂

Japanese host clubs are not strip clubs. The hosts generally just sit with the women and drink with them.

Host clubs are not strip clubs. It's more complicate than that. It is a place where women buy very overpriced drinks in order to get the attention of very attractive and charming men. The guys serve. They drink and so forth. Many Of the women who go there are sex workers themselves. The thing about being then to ghost is that it is hard to get into the position. It is based on how much money you make each night. But the name of the top host is posted where the customers can see them. And they think that if somebody is atop host, their rust be a good reason, so they will book that host too, and he will stay on top. This woman fell in love with one of the hosts and decided to do what she could to get enough money to get him to earn enough money to go to the top host slot, and once he got there, he would keep making more money. But she kept spending more money to make sure that he stayed on top.
These guys are taught to manipulate women. They do indeed play hard to get, and refuse to sleep with a woman on the first night that they meet her. She does start chasing him, and often become obsessed with him. They are also taught to be nothing but a good time guy at first, but then later, start scolding them for various things they have learned about their personal life, such as not paying enough attention to their parents, or whatever. This seems to pull them deeper in. These guys sleep with the women off the clock, and are generally paid for that. The whole thing is, indeed, pretty sad, and it can take a toll on the guys. For one thing, they have to drink a lot of alcohol. For another, they have to constantly deal with the motions and relationship drama of multiple neurotic women. Also, in the daytime, they have to go out on the streets and hustle women to get them to come to the club later.
There is, of course, a much larger number of hostess women. But this seems to me to be a less sleazy scene, because it is more straight forward. Guys work all day and then, instead of going home to their wives, they go out with they coworker guys to hostess bars. Their, pretty charming women chat with them, pay attention to them, pamper them and so forth. Some will not have sex with them (for money) later, some will not, some bars are more formal, others have women wearing less, or even less, and a more sexual vibe. But it seems to me that everybody in that situation knows what they are paying for and what they get for it. The host bars strike me as far more cynical and manipulative.
honestly she was defrauding them and he was defrauding her. But only she gets in trouble.
Like so many others have said, Host Clubs are not strip clubs but rather clubs where attractive guys spend time with women conversing and drinking like they’re on a date (same with hostess clubs, attractive young women act like they’re dating guy customers as they converse and drink). Unfortunately it’s not unusual to hear about female customers getting so enamored with a male host that they’ll go into debt, which forces them to anything to get money quick to not only pay back the debt but also even even go back to see that host again with more money.
And I think this is the point that both Ana and John miss, the emotional manipulation that’s done on the host side which in turn makes the “sugar baby” a victim/victimizer by defrauding a whole bunch of other victims in this messed up chain. This is actually not as uncommon, customers from both host/hostess clubs will pay vast amounts of money to the point where they’re in debt. Also host/hostess clubs have been around Japan for quite some time, so this is not a new thing. I would also think Ana out of all people would understand if someone was being emotionally manipulated instead of taking a hot take joke :-/
Wondering if there is more to this and the clubs she spent all that money at are involved in the scam with her
Host and hostess clubs are not strip clubs. They are clubs where you go a d pay for drinking and having conversations with hot men (host club) or hot women (hostess club). Some of the hosts/hostesses exploit the relationship between customer and host/hostess to milk them dry. This sounds like one of these instances. I'm not saying that what she did was right, but she might have been manipulated by her favorite host.
Edit:Good that you correct your misstake later in the video.👍
Sigh. Don't assign western culture to other parts of the world. "Host clubs" in Japan are NOT strip clubs like in the west. Women and Men go there to have private interactions with the "hosts" - but these are NOT sexual in nature, there is no nudity or sexual activity occurring. The most accurate way to describe is "paying to have a date". You pay for companionship that does not involve any sexual activity. It helps some people solve the problem of loneliness in Japan, which is rampant in their society, by allowing both men and women to pay for a few hours of time to just talk, have dinner etc with another person. This concept effectively is non-existent in North America or Europe, to my knowledge.
There are also strip clubs in Japan... but they are NOT "Host" clubs, they are strip clubs as you would expect here in the west. But the 2 are VERY different. The strip clubs, you go to watch nude / semi-nude women or men dance... Host clubs, you pay for a date, basically, but there's no nudity / stripping etc.
Ahhhh dude they have (azzzzz eating restaurants)😂😂😂 you kidding me. Japan are some freaks 😂😂😂
Does Ana do any basic journalistic work anymore? Lol I mean come on...
Nah, she rather scream like an eagle about things that don't happen or don't exist.
A host club is not a strip club you are vastly uninformed.
Makes me wonder if she identified as a sugar baby beforehand. If she did, and they gave her money knowing that was the relationship... Well tough luck bro, you agreed. And same goes for her spending money on hosts--- she gave that money to them, it's their money now. Those are monetary transactions and if your feelings make that muddied then don't do it.
Yea it was her name, so kinda just their mistake. She lied but I don’t think you could charge someone for that in America.
In other Countries it’s a crime to lie!! She lied and that was the crime

Host clubs aren't stripclubs.
If you check her image on google, she presents herself as being very, very young. She doesn't look that old anyway but her public face is possibly schoolgirl type? Don't feel too sorry for the old guys who got scammed. they're not exactly paragons of virtue.
yeah, we're talking about these guys going after a girl 2 decades or more younger than them, right? but this isn't a problem in Japanese society, apparently ……
I thought this was basically the whole point of being a sugar baby.
Answer: hoste club guy is good looking.
Contrast this with Ana’s take on the tinder swindler… just saying
Host clubs are not strip clubs. Watch Tokyo Vice.
I've been to a female hostess club. I wasn't paying, but the reason people pay so much to go to these clubs is because they make you feel fantastic. They tell you you are beautiful, smart, they love your outfit, your Japanese is good, etc. Even though I knew it's there job to tell you how great you are, I still felt fantastic when I left the club. I think it might be better than going to a shrink, plus you get to drink premium alcohol.
You weren't paying? Right!
@@PhilipDeLamarter -My post says that I wasn't paying. I was a guest of the customer.
OK, I read this 3 times at just past 1 minute with the graphic about the court's ruling. She'd defrauded 3 men of 58.8 million Yen (about one million $) another for 117 million yen ($756,000.)? Somebody's math seriously sucks.
Sounds like the typical modern woman 😂
na theses are capitalist whores
Okay, the math here doesn't add up. This kind of thing drives me nuts. The graphic says that she swindled three men out of 55.8 million yen, which it says is $1 million dollars. Then it says she swindled one man out of 117 million yen, which it says is $756 thousand dollars. 55.8 million < 117 million, but $1 million > $756 thousand.
Maybe the three men she swindled out of 55.8 million yen weren't the only men, and there was another guy she swindled out of more. Maybe that one guy wasn't one of those three and was just an additional guy. That would be a weird way of phrasing it. But the basic figures don't compute. Somebody somewhere has made a mistake.
The source is in the description
@@13bullshit Yeah, I don't know if it was the source that made a mistake or TYT. I'm just saying the math doesn't add up here. Obvious math mistakes bother me.
Yep, it was clearly Ana's turn to do the math. And we can't blame her, too pretty.
I’ll say John is more insightful than Ana with his observation that “matters of the heart are complex.” I’m guessing that Ana would understand if she considered how much her husband is to her “the one” instead of an interchangeable commodity.
She does love her husband like that, she just tends to speak without thinking a lot. The fact that she thinks a host club is the same as a strip club is annoying. Like two seconds of research Anna! Anyways. There's a reason I prefer The Damage Report nowadays. Well not just because of Anna but she is one reason.
If anyone gives money to anyone with no expectation for a tangible product or repayment, that is called a warm con. It shouldn't be a crime to benefit from someone who is willing to benefit you!
Host clubs are NOT strip clubs. Anna, stop.

Host clubs are basically strip clubs without the stripping. You go there and hot men/women just chill and talk with you for a bit while pretending to be into you.

Her male host was just a male sugar baby. Anna must live a sheltered life. I've seen it all my adult life. I don't are with it but it's not against the law. Nine years is a little harsh
There's a difference. In a Host Club you know what you're paying for. She just lied to some men and tricked them into giving her money, which is fraud by definition (maybe not legal definition, but unless you're Japanese lawyer you also can't say it's not).
Todays mainstream understanding of this type of behavior is that "the girl has a good hustle". XD
Sometimes it feels like you guys learn about a story as you're presenting it.
Presumably Japan's laws on what constitute fraud are different than they are in the United States and that is why the charges don't line up perfectly with what they could be here.
Can't people just stay single
Well, no. These older men seem to have a "knight in shining armor" complex, and think that their money can totally buy a young hottie. I live in the Philippines, and this happens every day. Sugar babies lead old men on, asking for larger and larger "loans" and "allowances", and promise eternal love, when they get here. I'm sure, several times a day, old men find themselves ghosted in the Manila airport, with no clue where they are, and with nowhere to go. Retired men, old enough to know better, totally bamboozled by an 18 year old girl. "Well, did she make you cry, make you break down, shatter your illusions of love? So tell me, is it over now? Do you know how, to pick up the pieces and go home?" Stevie Nicks, Gold Dust Woman EVERY. DAY. And they NEVER get caught. Because everything about them was fiction.
Host clubs are a big addiction out there.
🤮. I love how you have to hold back your laughter and glee over what this woman did to these men. If you was to reverse the sexes and this was a man who did this to women, I hardly doubt the story would have the same delivery. Overall I think the young Turks is a good resource but On occasion the blatant hypocrisy and privilege is on full display. This is one of those times.
Host clubs in Japan are not strip clubs. You are paying for the hosts to be your friends, and you really want to impress your friends with expensive drinks.

She's the victim. Check out the loneliness problem in Japan. It's all about mental problems. Especially loneliness and its endemic problems.
I think we can agree there may be multiple victims here. Mental illness isn’t free pass either though. Societal problems, maybe. But this was one woman, not an fraud ring.

Well, first of all, host/hostess clubs are not strip clubs. Everyone in them, are always fully clothed

First, NOT a stripper. Second, host clubs are legal.
