I once watched a podcast interview of an American coach who plies his trade in Japan. I don't recall his name, but he is credited almost singlehandedly with elevating the quality of Japanese football from a global afterthought to the status of a proper footballing nation. And he did it almost exclusively by coaching at the youth (age 12, maximum) level. He spent several years in South America, learning what they do, and summed it up simply, "European kids fall in love with the game, the players and the clubs. Brazilian, Argentinian and Uraguayan kids fall in love with the *ball* ". He went on to clarify that the South Americans learn technique, tricks, and skills long before they ever learn about positions, formations or tactics. He said (he was speaking to an American interviewer) that it was common to see eight and ten year old Brazilian kids, many of whom would never play organized football, with greater skill and technique than American college players. That's a very interesting way to look at it - and the results speak for themselves.
If tap-in goals = easy, then why defenders couldn't easily stop those? They're completely overwhelmed, that's why. And only good attackers could humiliated defenders that way.
Bro bro , you should check out another Brasileiro wonderkid Alexsander from fluminense. Barca, Newcastle and Lazio are trying to get in the summer. N with Endrick , he's going to be scary when he's 20 after having Vini and mbappe as mentors. Being under Don Carlo too. Sheeesh.
Hopefully You make it far bro, almost 20k 🎉.
