Robert Plant is one of the hardest rockers out there but, he can be as smooth as he needs to be for stuff like this. I really enjoyed his solo with the Honeydrippers. I had this album and one of my favorites.
I still remember me and my cousins laughing our asses off watching that video whenever they showed that guy in the tight Speedo.😲😂🤣 Like he's just casually standing there in his Speedo behind the xylophone next to Robert Plant in a nice suit. He's just so randomly... there.
That's really only skimming the top of a rich and varied solo career. At least get to Roberts Shaken and Stirred and Fate of Nations records or his post trip hop phase. His influences sort of crystallized into this dense, eclectic groove.
Oh, you took me waaaay back today, Jayy! When I was in my late teens my boyfriend bought me this 45 record and declared it our song! Unfortunately one day the tide went out and never came back. lol So in my life I've listened to this song alot. Thanks for your reaction. Interesting thought about using it for a wedding. Take care and be well. Peace.
Originally done by Phil Phillips maybe 50s. Love it!!!! Im aware of this great version never knew the lead singer, hard to believe after hearing Whole Lotta Love and more great Zeppelin songs. Very much appreciate u reacting to this.
Robert Plant actually cut an album and toured with country Bluegrass singer Alison Krauss. Their collaboration was absolutely unbelievable check out a song called “Gone, Gone, Gone”
I just asked your friend and I will ask you too. Please react to Cat's in the cradle by Harry Chapin, or even the cover by Ugly kid joe. Also My woman my wife by Dean Martin. My all time favorite entertainer. Also consider My dark place alone by the Murderdolls. That song is kinda like an anthem for my struggles with Bi polar, and depression. I must warn you though its not pg.
I love your channel. That's a lot different from his Led Zepplin days, huh. Say hi to De. Charlie Daniels died. Can you do one for him? And say hi to Mama J!!!
Very -un-pc lyrics; however, the 1959 cover by Marty Wilde is THE version. BTW. it would have been Marty's version that Robert would have known as a kid...and it shows in the way he sings it.
Robert Plant is the voice of Led Zepplin , bit all of his side projects seemed to be swept under rugs. The man is always busy recording something with other artists letting them earn a position from literally riding his "Ritual Robes" . Everything he touches makes stious bank. His bandmate Jimmy Paige owned the home of Alliester Crowley. Too much "occult" info channelled into a single source of reference material. Thank You Golden Dawn

Ship of Fools by Robert Plant will put you in a trance.
She had no idea she was watching rock royalty and one of the greatest singers ever.
This song will always bring back to a night out with my siblings. In the car, going home, this came on the radio, and we were all singing along.
Robert Plant is amazing in his own right....my second favorite vocalist after Elvis. I hope you dig in. 🙂
Elvis is amazing! But I also love Plant.

Robert Plant, the front man for the greatest Rock band Led Zeppelin. Check out L Z, but be prepared for a 🤯ing experience.
Complete surprise by this hard rocker. Good suggestion. Congratulations you just crossed 16000!
The original done in 1959 by Phil Phillips and was featured in the movie of the same name .It started Al Pacino. A good cover by Robert Plant.👍👍💓
Love this song! It was one of my top choices for the first dance song at my wedding. It's so sweet and romantic.
