I really enjoy your videos!! Don’t worry about it not having bulletpoints, we’re thankful enough! Thank you for making these just before Black Friday and don’t forget to get some sleep! 😋
Great information and I love your honest opinion on all 3 top but because of your videos, I think I want to get the curv, a couple of videos said the same thing but I watched several of your videos that 1 hour long each! So great videos and all the hard work you put in!
Thank you for your amazing videos ! I saw a lot of them and I'm gonna end to get probably the L40 Ultra can get it around 799$ and I think with your videos and some I saw my top3 would probably be: L40 Ultra X40 Ultra L10s pro ultra heat Roborock curve I don't need the lift up of the roborock and even if I really give a huge importance to the mop I think it will be ok with the L40 Ultra since I'm coming from a Roborock S50 v2 ahah ;) so everything would be better.
Consider testing the Dreame L10s Pro Gen 2 as an entry level option. I just got one and it's fantastic, And there are nearly no reviews of any sort out there for it
I picked up a Roborock Qrevo refurbished for 375.00. I love this thing. It's fast, powerful, and quiet just wish it had the extending side brush and mop heads like Roborock curve. But that one is expensive. I'm come from a Neato D4.
Great video, I watched a lot of your videos lately and got the roborock qrevo slim. I have it for about a week and it's really doing me slid. Great mopping amazing vacuuming and the navigation is great. I tought about the curv bit the hard floor cleaning scores a little better and I don't have any carpets or large thresholds and I could get the slim for a around $1000 so it was a good deal
I was ready to buy a dreame l40, but then I found on your videos that the brush bar stops when it’s on carpet! Which is a big disappointment! It had now left me looking at other robots vacs! I have contacted dreame so see if they will change the software to allow the brush roller to run on the carpet to get around carpet edges. Thanks for you honest reviews
I cannot decide what to choose. Dreame X40 Ultra which can be buy for ~$940 now in Czech Republic or Roborock Qrevo Curv. We have flat 84sqm. We have combination of carpets and hard floors (kitchen+lobby). We don't have pets, but my wife has long hair. My favorit was X40 with TriCut brush. I like the swing arms feature, option to left mopping pads in the dock and just vacume the flat, or just mop.But now I read a review where was mentioned low suction power of the docking station which may cause poor emptiing of bin in the robot. Qrevo should be technically little better than X40, but X40 outperform Qrevo in suction power. Dreame also have poor review of the Android App. Intergration with the Google home is a must. Mopping is equaly important for me as vacuming of the carpets. I'm despred, because I really don't want to spend my money for expensive device and then be disapointed.
We definitely have a lot of choices when it comes to these robots and that's a good thing, even if it means that you need to take some time and decide what you really want. I just got the Roborock Q Revo Edge and I love it. Supposedly it's the same robot, but the dock is a different shape. I also ordered the Dreame X40 and I got a great deal on it. Maybe they were offering it at a discount because it's on back order, I got 47 percent off so I got it for $999. I would also love to have the Narwal Freo Z Ultra but it's also out of stock. I have the Freo X Ultra and I really like that one. You mentioned in some of your videos about avoiding the Roombas, I agree. Irobot has fallen so far behind, they really need to redesign their robots from the ground up. Until they get rid of the vslam navigation and switch to lidar they will never be able to compete with these other brands. At this point, Roborock, Dreametech, Ecovacs, Eufy and Narwal have gotten so far ahead of them. Ecovacs has just come out with a new flagship, the X5, not sure if I will get it since I've had the X2 for less than a year. I do have the Dreame X30 and I know the X40 has a few upgrades, hopefully I will receive it sometime soon.
Dear Just a Dad channel, Thank you for your great reviews. I’m reaching out to you from Germany because I have a problem with a purchase decision. In Germany, the Roborock Master is currently on offer for 799 euros, while the Dreamy L40 costs 899 euros. In your opinion, which robot vacuum is the better choice? We mostly have hardwood floors, no pets, hardly any carpets, and a two-year-old daughter. Thank you very much for your assessment.
@@ammo_23 that's interesting! I think I might still go for the L40, as I assume Black Friday discounts on Amazon, which for me has been excellent whenever I had issues (e.g., fully refunded a Deebot X2 Omni,, not replaced). But tough choice nonetheless! How's Costco in UK like?
@@raffaelloantonino8266 Costco carry both dreame and narwal and a few of the lower end eufy’s. I’ll probably buy from there as they’ve a solid customer satisfaction and returns policy! Still unsure at which to get 😆
I still haven't found anything worth upgrading to from a Roomba J9/10. I've tried Ecovacs, Dreame, and most recently Freo Z, but the Roomba has features that I rely on, that the others just can't match: 1) Object avoidance, particularly cords - Dreame is close, but Narwal, Roborock, etc don't come close. 2) Voice control - The best app is the one you never have to open. Other brands can clean a floor or even a room by voice, but no one else can execute full "favorites"(shortcuts/routines). This is critical because I frequently want to just vacuum the kitchen, around the table, and a high-traffic zone. I can do that with one command, without taking phone out of my pocket. 3) Carpet performance - Especially picking hair and fuzz off carpet. 4 passes of my Narwal still not as good as 1 pass with Roomba. Vac Wars also highlighted it as the only combo bot that got a perfect score on their new pet hair test. 4) Keeping carpets dry - Although most robots and can lift pads, it's only sufficient for the most low-pile of rugs, carpet. Roomba and Shark are the only ones that can really lift high enough for plusher carpets. Dream's mop drop-off turned out to be useless when you have a rug/carpet in the path of the place you need to mop. 5) Ability to navigate under bedding and curtains. LiDAR bots see thin fabric as impenetrable barriers. Having to lift up bedding and curtains just to clean under the bed or drapes defeats the purpose of having a robot. Roomba pushes right through it. No prep required. 6) Maintenance - On the J9+ Combo you have to swap a pad, but that's so much less work than emptying the dirty tank, refilling the clean tank, and cleaning out the station. Not to mention so much less to break down. 7) Mop performance - I do a test with dried pancake batter. The Roomba cleaned it up in 3 passes, with Smart Scrub. The Dreame L20 took 8 passes, and the Freo Z took 11 passes. I've never had any navigation issues with my Roomba, and find the app better to use than any others. Only gripes are the side brush spins so fast that it scatters crumbs, and hair tangles around the roller spindles. The Freo Z resolved those, but its other shortcomings didn't make it worth keeping.
I like the way the Roborock curve dock is, the robot tucks inside dock like a dog house! Nice size, too! I have the Roborock Qrevo, caught on sale 375.00 refurbished direct from Roborock good deal, brand new no issues.
iRobot is close to being Bankrupt. I have a 400, 500, 900 series but months ago sent back the J7+ and paid them to keep it. I have been with them from the beginning. Based on your reviews l now use Lidar with no go zones. My new machine is 6 months old and cleans the 2nd floor on Wed + Sun. My 3rd floor has two robots that clean the top floors. Bought all on Sale and 1 refurbished. Excellent Channel. Sadly, another American company failing because of a refusal to innovate. Amazon tried to save iRobot but was blocked by the government. 😢...we are seeing the same with the auto industry. Just curious, I know someone who has multiple animals (both dogs and cats), both hard floors and high shag carpets, an indoor gate that keeps out the dog (a few meters threshold), and a few steps. Any recommendations? They bought a Roomba, but it broke and doesn’t work that well.
Eufy looks great but do you need to buy the cleaner from the same brand its like 20€ every time.. can i use regular cleaner ? Also same with the dust bag, like this are things that will cost constantly.. can we use a cheaper bag ? Thankyou in advance ❤️
