It’s not your fault cause it’s obviously working but atm im currently about to tear my fucking hair out cause I don’t understand how to moonwalk. It’s a rhythm that you have to learn I understand that but ITS SO ANNOYING AND IM MAKING ZERO PROGRESS AFTER 30 MINUTES
Try practicing in the survivor tutorial, It takes a lot of time to master, revisit it every day or so, i used to do maybe 30 mins or an hour each day i got on to play and just practiced till i got it down. Good luck mate
Sorry for the late response, Yeah timing is important, gotta find a nice middle ground. Not too fast or too slow, most the time people are doing WASD to quickly.
@@Azza2bad It's alright I already learned it and how to moonwalk etc(took maybe a few hours), the 360 was surprisingly not that difficult. The moonwalk I still sometimes mess up since I don't practice it anymore but can do it here and there.
These translate to console pretty well if you just input the same controls but using the left stick for wasd and the right stick for the same inputs as what you do with the mouse
i think the reason moonwalking while injured is easier is because the turn around window is longer due to the injured animation. I could be wrong but i think being injured gives a wider window to moonwalk before the turn around animation goes too far.
I know im late to this but rly good video. Im the one who always gets found first and it never lasts too long. I rly feel like im not as good i should be as player with 400+ hours. Thnx for great vid i take notes from this
@@MCsupernova22 glad I could help a bit, yeah the moonwalks are a little harder since the animation update, but it’s still possible, keep practicing mate you got this!!
man I dont get moonwalks I have been practicing on and off for 3 months straight and still cant get them down... I've come to the conclusion that I just cant moonwalk because of my fingers.... such a shame because I really want to learn them
I believe in you man, it’s tricky but you’ll get there, consistent practice in the tutorial lobby, even 30 mins or an hour a day depending on your free time, or even try when you’re injured, it’s easier to do when your injured, just about getting that timing, not too fast on A+D, but not to slow either!
I wonder if there is a keyboard issue - as far as key responsiveness. You can turn up your settings for keyboard responsiveness in your control panel but I think certain keyboards only have so much responsiveness. I noticed my keyboard seems to not allow as fast as a 360 as others keyboards. But it also comes down to the mouse movement making the game mechanics turn your character body to move faster… I’ve seen some people sway their mouse while they moonwalk.
when i fake in one direction for example with a and then go back to do the 360 it always feels like i go stuck a soon as i start doing the 360.. ihave 2 k hours and can moonwalk through the entire map but it seems like i'm to stupid for doing 360 xD
hahaha practice makes perfect mate, i learnt and mastered 360s and flicking before moonwalking, just practice the movement step by step and you'll get the hang of it! Good Luck!
@@Azza2bad I didn't expect that I would get a reply! ok so I can do 360 (anti-clockwise and mouse to the right) in the tutorial but to do that I need to do regular spins like 2 times and then it works, I can't do it immediately while am I being chased in a real game, that is my problem how do I do it immediately like how can I make the first spin be the actual 360 and not wait for more till it works also, I don't get how the flicks works, where do u move ur mouse while you're spinning? your mouse goes crazy I don't quite get it lol thank you!!
It could be done, but something tells me some movements such as moonwalking would be basically impossible on controller, although i have played controller and 360s are viable.

Moonwalking on console is insanely difficult, as we dont have left right directional buttons, we have a pad.
I can imagine
I haven't played dbd in a while but seeing these makes me wanna play, I'll definitely be trying them out lol good video Azza! ^^

how do u have a better FOV mines is zoomed in and i cant change it
its like so difficult to do moonwalks for me I think I might be clicking A and D too fast
Time will help and practice, i used to do A & D to quickly, slow it down, it's not as fast as you would think :)
I’ve heard someone call the “Static 360” the “JRM Tech”
I can do the flick and the 360 I just keep losing momentum, I'm not sure if I'm not clicking wasd fast enough or whats going on

Even though I’m still rank 7 I feel like this will help even if I’m not the best with chase yet
Certain FPS? Way back in the day people play 50 FPS to help. Curious if it still applies to this day
It’s kinda minuscule tbh, 50FPS is only going to hinder normal gameplay, not worth sacrificing normal FPS just for better movement:)
is it easier to moonwalk with 60 fps than 144 fps? I saw posts about how its easier to moonwalk on 60 fps. Or am i just bad xD
It is supposedly easier on 60FPS, but I play on 144 and can do it fine (it all comes down to how much experience you have tho)

Anyone have tips for me to get the ayrun tech and moonwalk timing down i dont know if im doing it to slow or to fast
Just keep practicing, I feel like doing it fairly slower works for me, going to fast causes you to stop
i can moonwalk just fine and dont see it being any easier while injured. you sure thats a thing?
With the old movement definitely, but even still i would say it absolutely is still slightly easier injured.
