If it wasn't John Leslie, she would have said so and saved his career and (the rest of his) life from falling apart. I take the fact she never denied it to be him.
I totally agree. John Leslie's life has been ruined. If it wasn't him she should say so. If you watch her you can see she is extremely sly. Morgan let her off lightly. and did not follow through.
‘’I allowed myself to be in a situation which I should now have, he had no idea what he had done and then asked me to go to the cinema’’. She sounds like she went along with things, and then years later when regretting it, put it into a different context. She dated him for years after that. I work with victims, and it is heartbreaking that there are so many ‘grey’ areas that celebrities are now calling black, that real victims are not taken seriously. To say she was confused and went along with it, would have just been more accurate. If a person sees her logic now when dating men, it fits, sadly. She is confused and rarely takes ownership her choices but wish her the best for getting straight.
I know, but i'm saying that if it wasn't him, she could (and should) have said so. At least she wouldn't have been party to his downfall. As with the other allegations, it's important to remember he was aquitted or found not guilty. The fact that she hasn't yet confirmed or denied, I will assume it was him.
Why are the usual losers who fill every comment section online whinging on about their hatred of women using it as an excuse to be abusive to her, when it was Matthew Wright who said the name of the attacker. Ulrika only wrote about the incident on half a page of a book and didn't name who it was, yet people are using it as an excuse to be abusive to her online.
It's not that she wrote about it- it's more the fact that she neither denied or agreed it was Lesley that got her criticised as people thought it was attention seeking.
I don't notice any Swedish accent. I noticed that with many Scandinavians where they don't sound much different to English when they speak English. Maybe because the languages are related.
Let’s be honest: these people aren’t celebrities. John Leslie nor this woman could even get a Tinder date in the US. My point is this got more press than necessary.
well, i think it was just a weird situation. The lines between what is and isnt rape can be blurry. Usually if a person says no and phsyically fights etc, but this was strange because Ulrike said herself she panicked so much she couldnt pronounce a word so how was he to know she objected? I agree with you.
I'm not saying it was John Leslie however if it wasn't she was wrong not to come forward and stopped him from being ruined. If it was him then she did nothing wrong.
I think she's full of shit to be honest;' ''I don't think he realised what he'd done'' and the whole I couldn't say anything at the time says to me there was sex and whilst she might not have wanted it she still went ahead with it and then regretted it after. She then used it as a springboard to launch her autobiography because let's face it-these things only make money when there's scandal involved. Had the tv presenter never being mentioned she'd have got away with it more ie. done less damage than she ever intended. She likely was not assertive enough to say no or whatever but I don't think it was rape nor do I believe the alleged 'rapist' had any bad intentions. I've being in situations as a 19 year old where I felt pressured into sexual acts and because of my low confidence back then and lack of assertiveness I'd do it and bitterly regret it later. Because at 19 you are still very much a kid and assertiveness can be a very hard thing to master at that stage yet people can't see this. That doesn't make it rape though and I do think she's played on this for her own gain. I do think she is trying to backtrack too-it was clearly John Lesley without doubt and she subtly tries to undo the damage by claiming he didn't know he'd done it because she herself knows she ruined his life for the sake of selling her book. I think she regretted saying it was a tv presenter because of what happened and the consequences but she couldn't backtrack then and when the other women came forward she felt a sense of support and somewhat vindicated. But today I think she totally regrets the whole thing in that she realised it wasn't a rape. It was more her regret and lack of assertiveness in the situation and she manifested that blame on to him.
Being raped isn't always about someone flinging their arms around, fighting them off and screaming. Surely he should have known by her body language that she was not comfortable with this. Fear grips people in different ways.
I'm no fan of Piers Morgan, but I don't think he's inviting her to do that. The fact is, legally it's an alleged rape that somebody was named for (not by Ulrika but Piers does mention him here). They have to be careful, as they are talking about someone who has never been convicted of any wrongdoing. I think the questions are quite fair.
She takes no responsibility. She said he clearly didn't realise what he did - so he had no mal intent That's not criminal then. She ruined his life and career just because they ultimately didn't perceive the event in the same way

But she interviewed him on TV a year later@@wadefite

She has every opportunity to say it wasn't John Leslie, without revealing who it really was!! IT WAS SO JOHN LESLIE 😤
In her mind it was Leslie.
Let’s be honest: these people aren’t celebrities. John Leslie nor this woman could even get a Tinder date in the US. My point is this got more press than necessary.

so she's OK with kissing or undressing, then suddenly freezes, and he doesn't sense something is wrong?
Exactly.... she saw, John Leslie's life & career, going down the pan, and chose to say Nothing!!

shes a tart with a heart -- i got love for her :D

Maybe she is full of shit....
She continued to date him until she cheated on him. How does that work?
GLADIATORS
It must have been him 🙄
UUUUUUREKA KA KA KA KA
why do some women attract these kinds of men Leslie and the Campbell incident in paris
unbelievable victim blaming by Piers Morgan...
he's inviting her to feel sympathy for the man who raped her. The man who raped her. No sympathy at all for her.
I'm no fan of Piers Morgan, but I don't think he's inviting her to do that. The fact is, legally it's an alleged rape that somebody was named for (not by Ulrika but Piers does mention him here). @@535657 Well Morgan is generally hated so posters were always going to criticise his approach of this subject no matter how he framed it.
It's not victim blaming, she received large criticism over the Leslie Incident so he had to ask impartial questions.
She takes no responsibility. She said he clearly didn't realise what he did - so he had no mal intent
That's not criminal then. She ruined his life and career just because they ultimately didn't perceive the event in the same way
Didn't she accuse a load of footballers raping her in the changing rooms also? I see a pattern emerging. The pattern of two legs spreading in sync!
@Pioneer78///😮WHUT!!!???
may your sins find you out miss johnston...
