- In this one im adressing issues some of my viewers pointed out form the previous video. Im going over temperatures of the cells while soldering and new spacer that keeps 0.75mm between individual cells.

Nice update for people who are not in electronics and soldering.
Rosin paste flux works wonders when doing this type of soldering. As shown here where the solder quickly adheres to the battery ends.
nice work i want to build 6s 21700 45amp to mount so i need 4 spaces because i want to build 2 of them
Have you tried this 6s pack in your wing? Just wondering difference in the 4s2p 18650 pack vs this pack in flight? Thanks
The spacer connector for building a 6S pack isn't available in the thingiverse link. There's a second part but it's not obvious how to connect two spacer.

4s1p 21700 enables my quad to fly almost 45 minutes
is that a 5" quad? what is the dry and all up weight? currently building a 7" geprc mark4 with 6s 21700. waiting for everything in the mail
@@jasenhenry 10" props on 9" frame. AUW 830g. Batteries weigh 280g. Full fpv, gps and 3dr telemetry on board.
@@dronepilot1333 good stuff mate. waiting for parts in the mail but ive calculated about 388g for the 7" im building minus props, battery and gopro. i know 7" is not nearly as efficient as 10s but that is some impressive stuff. thanks for the info
How much more flight time did you get with 21700?

@@mrRockwellFPV thanks. I thought it has some connection with the amperage from the battery.
@@PopGheorghe it has but you only pulling 30a in the worst case. Motor wire leftovers are more than capable to handle that kind of load.

What temp do you have your iron set to?
It's set to around 350.

Lol I looked up this video just to see 20700's spot welded into a 4s or 6s pack... and how it was done... I've seen other battery packs from my scanner spot welded, and knew my welding iron wouldn't work. I've since though bought a TS100. Most people aren't going to have a 3D printer - I'm probably going to have to make a spacer out of paper or wood :-/ fpv.air-war.org
