Just passed the exam, first try. Know HO and Dwelling policies. Know everything about binders. Know the FCRA. Know CGL's. I just listed probably 80% of the test. was probably only 10% scenario questions and the rest just know the definition and how it applies. Good luck to everyone. Now on to Life and Health.

I passed my life only first, I passed P&C yesterday on my first attempt. I have to say you i thought that test would be hard and I was kind of disappointed it wasn’t 🤣 I knew nearly everything and didn’t need it… so you are correct that’s about all they really need to know to pass

Congratulations! I did Life, Health and Disability first because I already understand how to insure buildings, so I tackled the hard one first. Working P&C now ☺
I'm not academically inclined, but I just passed my test! Here are a few ways I studied.
Read and take practice tests until they're passed.
When you reach the end of your first course (property or casualty), go back through and write out flashcards with all of the important information, coverage parts, definitions, and concepts.
Repeat the same program on your second course. Make the flashcards.
Between the end of your training courses and state exam, go over all of your flashcards 2 or 3 times a day.
Separate flashcards into 3 categories.
Coverages
Concepts
Definitions.
Drill them repeatedly and in an order that helps you retain the info. GOOD LUCK!

2. Understand the different sections of an insurance policy
3. Know what perils are covered in each policy.
4. Know exclusions of the policies as well.
5. know the difference between dwelling policy and homeowners policy.
6. Know the different coverage types (A. Dwelling. B. Other structures)
7. Know what the National Flood Insurance Is and what the eligibility/coverage is (NIP)
8. Most questions are scenario based.
9. Practice Exams.
10. Understand the concepts of commercial influence. (30% of his test)
11. Study Insurance State Laws.

That's not necessarily true. Things can be much easier in life than we've been led to believe. Start watching Abraham-Hicks and you'll be glad you did. It's all in your thoughts/emotions. Good luck!

I used this the night before and watched other helpful tips and passed 3 . (Property part 1(general section) n 2(which is the state) and casualty part 1(general) section) I missed the state casualty part by one question. This helped me a lot. Just Retook the state part of the Casualty today and made it! God is good. Wishing everyone the best and trust in God, study and let go of the anxiety, you got this!.

I am soooo glad I came across this video. I will be watching ALL of them. I have an agent that I actually asked to be a reference for me for a different job and he ended up offering me a job at his agency without me even having my license. I am terrified for this journey because I am a 35 yr old mom of teenagers that has never had a career or ever even thought about having one in insurance. I am quitting my paying job to take on full time studying to fill my offered roll. I took my exam(s) today and passed the first try (yay!!!)! I’m in NJ and there was also 2 tests: 101 for casualty and 89 for property. I studied for about 2 months prior to registering

Where did you take your pre license course ?
Greensboro, NC here, found your videos I'm ashamed to say this but after failing on my second attempt I gave up that was Feb 2020. I failed by 6 points and felt like a failure. I'm not the best test taker but I'm hitting the books again and I will get it this time. Your videos gives me great motivation. Thanks sir!

Kenny I am very excited I passed my p&c exam today at 1pm . I registered on 8/31 and today God told me to registered for the exam around 10:30 am today. I Regus for the 1pm exam and passed it.
Just passed on my first try. Very hard test but it can be done, I needed an 80% to pass in Nevada. Study your practice questions but 100% know the concepts behind each policy. Very rarely did I see a question on the test that I saw from exam fx word for word. The test will mostly look like the guarantee exam. Don't rely on memorizing the practice questions and answers. The test will be completely different. Good luck! You got this.
Congratulations! I am taking my test on the 2nd and I am in Nevada. How many questions were there? I am scared to death about taking it. Just know the concept behind each policy? Is the key? I was told flash cards are going to be your best bet in this test. Please tell me everything you did?

I passed today first try!!!!!!!! 🤸🏾♀️💪🏾 Nebraska made me take property separate from casualty. Property 83% and casualty 88%, now I need to apply for my license and find a job! I did this on my own so I don’t have a job lined up but it’s coming!! 💪🏾🙌🏾

I went last week to take the Casualty portion of the exam. I am working with the WebCe program. I passed the pre-exam with an 88--went and tested and got a 64. I was so upset and discouraged. After talking with my boss and a couple others, I am still a bit nervous but realize the test is very hard. I am only into 3 1/2 weeks of learning and studying and need to give myself time. I'm in NC and this is my first time ever working in insurance. I go to retest next Monday the 13th. (2/13/23)
IM really nervous, I’m taking the P and C in Ohio on Monday and I’ve been busting my butt studying but I feel overwhelmed and unprepared although I know a lot. But listening to this video has been really helpful! Thank you man!

I’ve worked for a broker agency for the past 2 years, they want me to get my insurance license now and I’m going on my 4th try! I’m completely embarrassed since I worked in the field for so long but my coworkers did inform me that what I learned with the company is COMPLETELY different then what the exam expects me to know. So I have to forget everything I know and just go straight by the book 😩 🤦🏻♀️ FML Love your channel btw ❤️

I'm on my 2nd attempt in studying for this.. i was super overwhelmed months ago when I first signed up and scheduled. But the time my test date came I choked and knew I was not ready... so I'm going to try and motivate myself to go at it again and try and study again. I'm glad you did this video.. sigh.

Almost everyone fails the first time. You’re not a loser, you’re a human tryna pass a hard ass exam! Don’t sweat it. Study how to take it along with the material. That helped me!

NC 2021 update on the P&C exams. The company I got hired for told me I could finish and pass this within 2 weeks. Definitely NOT true...(maybe if you don't have a life lol) I failed my Casualty with a 53 and Property with a 63. you have to pass with a 70 minimum. But for NC they are both 60 questions. On the CASUALTY test, they will ask you 47 questions on Terms & Concept, Personal, & Commerical Insurance Coverage mixed together. Then 13 questions about NC Statutes & Regulations. for PROPERTY test, they will ask 45 question on those 3 topics and 15 questions on the NC Statutes & Regulations. Kenny hit this spot on about the Flood questions and lots of Scenario questions, maybe around 15 straight forward questions. But I'm gonna retake the P&C this Thurs and Sat. I'll post an update when I pass :) Thanks Kenny for your tips!

I took the p&c exam and passed on my first try, this video was very helpful! I have to say it was slightly harder than life and health but it is very passable nonetheless.

I take my test later today and I’m really nervous. You are exactly right it is overwhelming to learn all of this information and although I’ve been studying like crazy, I don’t feel prepared! But this video helped me feel more confident going into it.

I was looking for a new field to try, I'm 26 and i've had a million retail jobs lol. I needed something where I can work with people (that part of retail I love) but actually requires me to use my brain (in retail, the lack of mental stimulation was killing me) One of the first listings I saw was for a P&C agent. I looked it up, it seemed interesting and now I'm doing my prelicensing. Im grateful that I still think it's interesting! Thanks for the information. I'm in the middle of an A.S. degree in Occupational Safety and Risk Management and I decided to begin the Property and Casualty course after a good conversation with my insurance agent.

My agent has offered to mentor me as I take Property and Casualty. He expects that I should be able to get through the course in about 2 or 3 weeks. As far as my degree, I've always enjoyed training employees and doing audits and investigations.

Am on my 5th week and failing with colors. Exams are avering 30%! Overload of information averages 2-3 hours a day studying. The practice exams I fail each and every time using the Kaplan study. I have one more week to possibly keep my job at the insurance company to pass the test. The scenario questions are driving me bazonkas! especially when I have no clue about the vast and very vast types of policies. I'll keep trying it's just very hard but I can't fail I have a mentally disabled son and passing this test is critical to keep employment. Appreciate the tips.

My exam is 150 questions. I received a 58% on my first try and a 66% on my second try. My third try is tomorrow, but I did not have much time to study within the week and now I’m definitely feeling the pressure. I study about 7 hours a day. I do amazing usually on the practice exams on ExamFX. It also seemed like my first test was a lot easier than my second.

If you taking the exam for the State of Florida cuz I just took it today after 10 days of studying study whatever information they give you but if you reviewing with exam FX just try your best to remember everything but make sure that when you take the exam it's not going to be as hard the question or not going to be the same as the exam XX it's going to be very very basic so basically study everything study the ho all of them study the the sublime that's four of them and let me tell you something study everything but when you study just make sure you read and retain the information because it's very basic it's hard and at the same time is basic you got to make sure you use your common sense whatever you read you got to be able to retain that information and how the question is waiting in the book and how they ask you the question and the exam is completely different if you don't if you haven't read everything you better start reading everything it's hard at the same time it's not you have to learn to use common sense and this is how I passed the first time and then don't go back and change your answer just let it be whatever your mind says go with it and take god with you

Hey! I'm in New Orleans, Louisiana and I'm currently 3 weeks in studying for my State Exam. Boy!!! is it sooooo much information to take in and remember. I've been doing the Comprehension Exam for some days now and I'm bunt out :( I've never study so hard before... So I'm here on RUclips trying to find a way or even others study techniques because its something I'm not getting... Please don't tell me that I'm the only one? :( :( :( :( but i love how you are telling it how it is, and for that it have me wanting to even NOW part even more work in. I have no one to actually be there for me and i so badly want to pass this test but I'm sure not on the 1st try or the 2nd. im horrible with test. SIGHS... I took my life and health insurance on 8/26 and schedule for p&c insurance course on 8/31/2022 and took the exam on 9/10/2022 @1am. On my 1st try. I am very happy.

Let me get this clear, I am taking the course in Examfx; and at the end says take exam “certificate.” that doesn’t mean the STATE TEST? Once I finish my course, I need to contact my state or who? To schedule an appointment or am I getting confused??? IM SO CONFUSED

I just got hired on at a call center and we only were given one week to learn everything. My test is tomorrow and I’m panicking because even though I’ve study and taken quizzes over and over I’m not sure if I’m ready yet. Luckily it will be free this first go round because my employer is paying for it

About to go take my P&C test in ohio for the first time next week!! Nervous but thanks for the tips ! I was told in ohio tho that commercial was about 30% of the test too but were not really focusing on commercial in class this week so kinda nervous for that !!
