I failed 3 times it was my 3rd today, I laughed it off and will be getting kaplan soon, got a discount on Xcel and used them but I focused on getting the answers instead of grasping the co concepts 4th times the charm I'm not quitting and my attitude it's I've got a whole year to get it so I'm good lol

I am glad I found this. I failed my P&C exam by 2 points almost a week ago and I am taking it again tomorrow. Like you said, I know the material, but believe the wording in the questions tripped me up. I had my putty party and I have been encouraged by friends and coworkers, but feel very stressed. I have been reading and studying the sections I scored the lowest in and still feel extremely anxious.

Passed my health exam yesterday on my first try. I would say a big thing too is don’t go back and change answers. Take your time, read the question slowly, and go with your gut!

I failed my 220 today on my first attempt… I need a 70% to pass but got a 63%. The course exam I did well and got 95% and I study so much but it’s so much information and now I will take it again in 4 days I already signed up and paid! I can’t believe how tricky and bizarre the questions are!

Use Quizlet for flash cards, go over them when you are bored, on the toilet , down time at work, quizlet has the wording that’s on the test and the answers. Quizlet helped me to pass on top of studying exel I couldn’t believe how easy the main questions where because the stayed fresh studying from those digital flash cards. I passed 88 Life and Health first try, through a panic attack and all.

I passed my exam and these are the things that helped me the most:
1. Write everything down at least once.
2. Separate chapters and study one chapter at the time.
3. Memorize all aspects that involve a number (30 days, 3 days, 3 years, 2 weeks, etc.)
4. On top of memorizing everything, have a basic understanding of how things work in general. Example: what kind of insurance would be the cheapest. Which kind of annuity is the riskiest.
My overall experience was that the exam was easier than I expected.

I failed the first THREE times and then passed on that 4th time. The first two times I earned a 55% and 57%. Then I binged watched Exam Queen’s videos on the topics that in struggled to comprehend and after watching her videos I scored 66% the 3rd attempt (missed by 4 adjuster questions) then two days later I passed 🎉

I was actually relieved after I took my first exam. I failed by 4 points. I was upset I failed but I went in thinking I was going to fail by a whole lot more then I did. I was excited to get as close as I did. I spent the next day doing what I wanted then went back to studying the day after that.

Some of the most successful insurance agencies in our P&C network have failed the exam multiple times. It happens!
Much of the knowledge in the test has to be re-learned when you actually have boots on the ground running an agency, or working as a producer.
Its one thing to know something, its another to do something.

My issue is that I keep on doing extremely well on the practice tests getting high 80s-90s but whenever Ive taken tests even back in school I would go completely blank mind and forget everything! Im really trying hard to study to pass rather than study to learn.
Just took my test today for Arizona life. It was way more difficult than I anticipated. I scored an 80%. What helped me is I made sure I had enough time to check my answers. I gave myself about 30 min to review them after I finished the test. I used the "My Professor" course study. I made it a habit to read and take notes. After that i watched the videos then I took the quizzes. I also had my wife test me on the material straight from the book.

Going! I barely failed the first time by 9 points! but Im ready to again.
Failed twice this week. I am sooooo annoyed and discouraged. The test is nothing like the books and studies I've been doing. Taking it again on Sunday. If I don't pass I have to wait a year to take my next attempt. Wish me luck. I'm trying not to give up but this test is insane.

Hi Keyairah, it's good to hear your score is increasing. Focus on what you're not doing too well in. Take plenty of practice exams.
good evening I just finished my course , now took my final exam i made a 43% only because i 2nd guess myself ,, it was funny to me because i said the right answer in my head and still click the wrong answeserd so i know i know the material. going to take it plenty of times. In my lesson i made 90 % to 100% lowest 80%.

I would recommend getting your general lines P&C license because you are limiting yourself with personal lines. You got this!

i took my health and life tests yesterday and failed both by a handful of questions... my issue is the taxation in both health and life. i have a hard time understanding when things ARE taxable are NOT taxable and when they are tax-deductable.... in life i also struggle with understanding annuities.. any tips?

Haha, I failed by one question the first time- I needed a 75%, I got a 73%. But I passed by a much higher margin the 2nd time. Dont give up, you can do it!

Failed with a 68% on casualty and 69% on property
I’ve failed 3 times… My 1st attempt I got a 95, the 2nd time 97, and today a 98 and that’s because I seconded guess myself. I’m taking it once again.

@@KennyJTV The results show my weakness area being in Personal lines, which I need to focus on studying more. But they are not telling me on what section. 63% of the test is on Personal lines, which includes Auto,home,Dwelling,Misc,Property and Casualty. Not sure what to study?

I’ve had so many issues with insurance and transparency in general, it seems like it would be fulfilling to me to get people what they actually need. I’m wanting to do this as a part time thing since I have to split my time and my brother recommended I look into this… I just don’t know where to star t

I failed 6 times from 45 54 56 63 30(cuz my sister came in the camera) and 63. I used xcel and making 80s and 90s on all exams but I feel like my problem is I picked the same answers I get wrong. Also some of the questions aren't really the same. I'm gonna take it again this week so we'll see

I keep on getting 58 or 59 on the test ... I need twelve more points to pass this sixth time for life and health insurance in Texas . I have used several different study materials and study to 5 -7 hours a day I reduce the time between tests and how to study .

I have failed 2 times already, I have studied and done everything. the 2nd part in the exam is where I am failing according to the score report. 44 questions in the 2nd part. I haven't found any study information to help me with the second part. I have failed by 2 questions on the whole exam. I will be taking it next Monday. I'm desperate for help.

Study just the state laws. With Kaplan, I had a sheet with just the state laws listed on them.
I took the exam the first time and pass one part. I took it yesterday and took the other part and failed it. What tops do you suggest.
If there is a part you don’t feel comfortable on, keep studying that. Also, don’t wait too long to retake! How many points did you miss it by?

You’re not too far off! Focus on what is and isn’t included and those policies. They make the policies seem way more complicated than they actually are. So try to break it down and if you can’t RUclips it! It’s a lot of videos that really break down policies, I even have a few 😉
