I just want to tell everybody thank you so much for watching this video. I hope you enjoy it truly a privilege to have strangers watch this that don't know me and say such nice things, I am so honored thank you again so much. It is so humbling, wishing y'all a great hunting season in 2020. Go Exodus class act, Whitetail cribs made my year!
Doug I have a little deer story I took 14 years off from hunting Sold all my guns become a racer got tired of the racing went back to hunting I went and bought a Winchester 270 off the Widow of a friend of mine who passed away I used to love to hunt with (Tim LaRue) first deer I bagged was a monster 8-point who died in his tracks (2018) with a 319 yard shot and the veterinarian who works on my horses and travels North America hunting says I'm crazy for not getting that Pennsylvania buck shoulder-mounted. (2019) I decided to buy a pistol and try my hand at hunting Whitetail with pistol Taurus model 66 with a 12 inch barrel 357 Magnum cartridge I had the hammer back waiting for doe to step out from behind a tree at about 40 yards after 14 minutes of holding the gun on the rail of a stand I heard something walking up behind me I figured it would be a good time to take a break so I sat up real slow and turned to see what was coming with only a little window of view an 8-point stepped out from behind the hemlock trees I turned too faced him the treestand creaked and he looked right at me I didn't have time to rest the gun so I shot off hand at 85 yards hitting both lungs and cutting the veins off the top of the heart and that was a bigger thrill getting the small 8 point then that monster with a rifle congrats on all your harvests
So proud of my dad!!! I remember he called me when he was looking at this property; he couldn't believe that he was actually going to be able to buy his dream home!! He has worked so hard for everything that he has and is so honored to be apart of this show. He's been on cloud nine for days!! Thank you to the crew and everyone on the team for making this such a special experience for him!!!!
Definitely the most passionate Whitetail Cribs you've had and of-course from the O-H ! I'm only about an hour away by Marion,Oh . Goodluck and God Bless!
Very cool Tom. Doug is one of kind! Even after 70+ episodes of whitetail cribs, Doug is still my favorite guest we've featured! You can't replicate his passion and personality!!!!!!
You guy's were a blast and this turned out awesome!!!! Thank you so much for responding to my message and helping me make this come to life for Doug, we both are grateful!! See you guy's again soon!
Great Job Doug! Shawn and I were proud to be apart of this journey with your biggest Buck yet! We were there the night he brought it home, surrounded by friends and family checking out that 190" Buck!! Great video Exodus!!!!
Doug Clark should have his own channel on teaching this stuff. Really creative displays. Very experienced and knowledgeable hunter. Thanks for a glimpse into the whitetail obsession, Doug and Deb! More please!
I have had the privileged of knowing Doug most of my life through school, work and business. I had the honor of being his real estate agent on the purchase of the home you see. The transformation from what it was just a few months ago to now is staggering. If you know Doug he is a very motivated guy and always strives for perfection. This awesome episode of Whitetail Cribs showcases both of those characteristics of Doug. Well done my friend!
Great job grandpa. Thank u for showing off my deer. I wasn’t expecting that at all. I will never forget that day we were in the stand together. Right before we saw that deer we were both asleep and I had just woke up when he was walking in. I’ll never forget that day. Love u grandpa very proud of u. I’ve seen those deer in person but it was really awesome seeing all of them in this video. Exodus did a really good job.
I'll never forget being a little girl and Dad begging me to go hunt with him. I, of course went, but remember sitting in that tree stand being bored out of my mind lol. My Dad looks at me and says, "Rach, if a buck walks under this stand today you'll see why I love this." Literally only moments after that, by God's amazing providence, a buck walked under that stand. (I honestly never understood the term "buck fever" before that day). Anyway, Dad shot him and we searched for that deer all day long. Never found him, but the memory of that day will forever be cherished. My Dad truly loves to hunt and I, at a young age, got to experience first hand just how much!! Since then my son has also gotten to hunt with his Grandpa a couple times and the night that he got his dear is another one of those cherished memories for me and I know to my son and Dad, as well. Anyways, the point is, my Dad pours his heart into what he loves and this more than shows it. Thank you guys!!! Dad, the kids and I love you so much!!!
I remember as a kid listening to Doug's hunting stories. Being from Ashland County as well, the quality of deer this county has is awesome. Way to go Doug! That is truly a buck of lifetime
Awesome to see someone love the sport of whitetail hunting no matter the size of the buck. He cherishes every buck the same and has a great story behind each one.
Super cool home and a great concept of displaying his deer. This is my favorite episode so far. I really appreciate the back story to the most memorable deer in his home. Way to go.
Wow! Just wow! This is a terrific series that features so much hunting experiences its just incredible! I am absolutely certain that EVERY deer hunter will have some connections with every episode. What a great venue for sharing passion, stories, and unique hunting experiences. I love it. Your wife’s telling of the day you finally got bruiser...unforgettable. Thanks for sharing.
I started hunting a few years ago now and I’m self taught everything . No one else in my family has hunting ever . I can’t wait to have mounts like these
@@chadsyl23 you're sitting out in your tree stand ready to go back to the truck and then you get a photo like that and you're like maybe I'll stay out here a little bit longer LOL
I was checking out videos and yours popped up. Told my wife, I know this guy but wasn't sure how, then you showed the pig hunt video. My brother and I were there for that hunt. It is good to see how far you have gone with your passion.
I don't believe there's ever been a video like passing through. Certainly won't see that on youtube today. I wish the videos would at least explain what the shot was and how it was fatal. It's nice to know what the shot looked like and what you hit. Nice video.
Seeing you light up holding the rack of the deer of a lifetime makes hunting day in and day out worth it! Sometimes it’s more about the chase and experience leading to the kill that makes it so much more of a journey!
As soon as i seen this buck was from ohio i knew it was the one i seen in a picture from Fin Feather and Fur in Ashland. Amazing buck(s), mounts, History, attention to detail, and a great house all together. Seems like a great guy too. Congrats, I respect the Passion!
I really like how he honors his animals and his way of remembering friends I'd also like to say what an awesome and amazing crib I love the way it sits in the woods I've never seen anything like it before AWESOME
That is truly a humbling comment for us here at Exodus! Communicating the importance of hunting, conservation, and all things involved to non-hunters is a very big deal. Thank you for watching and engaging with our content. It really is appreciated.
Dudes! My buddy could be on this show. From a little town in kansas (house isn't the biggest but most of the deer sure are and they shoot GIANTS!! got a few over 200". Father & son hunters all free range.

That last one is a monster but like you said even the smaller ones are nice because each deer is a different experience and I am thankful for every deer I've gotten and thank God after each one!
A week or two after this video I got my first ever deer which is a whitetail, and I live in Mexico so we don’t use the scores that much, but my dad and I did the math and it was around 147 to 150. I’m 15 and I hope the best for this upcoming season for y’all.
Got the chance to meet these awesome people tonight and let me tell you, most down to earth people you've ever met, super nice and even won $10 off him! ;)The passion this man has with hunting is like no other and this videos tells it all. Nice house Doug and Debbie!
I personally never could really learn stuff from just watching hunting videos. i’m better off being out in the woods actually spending time in trees, off the ground, etc. but this guys deer are absolutely amazing. I grew up hunting northern ohio, and still do. I killed my first two deer when I was 8 years old on a youth hunt up in Ravenna at the old ammo depot. amazing experience. but once I started focusing on trying to kill big bucks it was all over. I still haven’t gotten “the one,” but i’ve had some amazing experiences & tons of memories of going out and spending all day in the woods with my dad and my brother.
Doug ,I watched the video and it's awesome. I shared it with my buddies. My kids love it too. By the way this is Ed from Wolff Brothers. Guess what my boys want to come check out your place.

Most of the display is real, the bottoms are lined with moss that you can purchase at Hobby Lobby!

Good to see a man thats not ashamed to stick a buck that dont score 200” nowadays so much of the fun gets lost in the pursuit of the giants.

Good job buddy
That big one reminds me of big red a lil bit what a buck
I liked it just because of my workbench 😂
Big Daddy 😂😂 best line of the all the shows thus far!
What causes the holes in the rack never heard or seen that
We’re not biologist, but bursted blood vessels and botfly larvae are the most common causes.
Don't forget the old "Hit by a train and got the rack stuck under a fence" Buck. Come on guys. I know you're from Iowa.
