what program did you use for the data analysis at 6:21? very intriguing.Thank you.
I love this, really interesting to see some of your thought processes. Would be great to see you produce some of these drawings.
I will talk through the process of my drawings in the upcoming videos
Wow, I loved your diagrams/ visual storytelling/ presentation drawings very much. Can't wait to see the final of the project. And also I'm so interesting about your topic studies about 'crane movement' and possibly be used in term of the architectural design such as forms, spatial relationships, flow of space etc.
thank you for your kind words 🤝🏻 i will continue to share the work as i work on it
When did you start to learn Rhino and Revit, did you use them at undergrad or did you learn them for masters? Also I would love to see a video of the process of you making some of the libeskind style drawings.
Semester breaks the best time to learn
i started using revit during my time in practice in the summer of first year undergraduate and then in third year i started to teach myself rhino
do you use it as a complete replacement of sketchup now?
@@ThomasRowntree revit is amazing!🙌🏼
Hey man, I’m in the process of submitting my design module in the 2 weeks at UoB and watching this has helped me out in terms of portfolio presentation and clarity of work. Keep it going bro, good-luck 👌🏾
thank you for your kind words, good luck with your submission 👏🏼
Why Rhino? Is it because of the complexity of the form?
yes and I find it the easiest to model in detail
which architectural software did you use to design your 3D model ? looks like sketchup !
what do you think is the easiest modelling Architectural 3D software for uni ? and what about your Detailing and presentation board designs ?
Insane workload
İ did not understand how did you come up to your design with your anlysis. The thing is you have searched lots of movements and did you take it as abstarct concept and apply it to your design? Is not it graphical solution .Can you please explain it i am trying to have a concept i have collect infos but i am not sure how will use those infos for my concept.I did some skeches like yours and i have ideas but i cant relate them with historical anlysis or local anlysis
How to create the movement history of cranes frame by frame?? And managing the logistics accordingly
The work is insane! What software/ how did you produce the movement diagrams? they look awesome
(for walking and the ships)
Great work, and good luck! You've got a lot of young and aspiring architects rooting for you!!
thank you!! 🤝🏻
Amazing work...but there's a lot of unnecessary complications to be honest, one can hardly understand what you're trying to design.
I think at this point there was a lack of communication of the project and execution of key drawings. Hopefully once the project is completed you can get a better understanding 👏🏼 thank you and appreciate the comment!
So random I just started my thesis two months ago. I decided to do it on the port of Tauranga in New Zealand. It’s almost looking at the same concept of merging two opposing functions and showing off the dualities of the two functions through the architectural design… Quite similar to you! I got recommended to watch this video it’s awesome to see somewhat of a president to follow and that I’m not the only “weirdo” that reckons bringing the public into a port is such a fascinating good idea!
this is a great comment, i’m glad i’m also not the only weirdo 😂
Which one is better for making presentation board Photoshop or indesign?
photoshop is great for producing and editing the drawings/images and then indesign is good for organising the images and adding text
Love the project and representation style! I'm working with the Seaport in Boston, MA for a graduate project this semester - how did you find the data/GIS layer for your global ship vessel movement drawing?
i just saw ur whole video ,i see " A MYSTERY UNBOXING" thats cool . what this made me to say is that ,the way u express through ur drawings like a movie, like u r unboxing a mystery that had been hidden for a long period of time on this port. i like it "EXCELLENT" it is my feedback.
I'm very impressed with your reseach on tower crane. I am intrigued by the way you present and describe it. But what is its purpose? I still wonder how it affects the shape or space of the design, can you descibe more about it. Anyway, it's a excellent project. Thanks for sharing!
Did you set up/design your portfolio pages on illustrator when editing them?👀 very curious ab that
how helpful were the sketches and do you have any tips on it (sketching)
i find sketching really useful, mainly to try visualise something I have going on in my head or to develop my project further
Wow great work. Can you make your UCL application portfolio accessible on Issuu again?
Did you have your final presentation yet?
yes this was after the presentation
What sort of software you use for your drawings
i model everything in rhino, export into illustrator and then photoshop
Really cool watching this as someone from Antwerp
Quite average work..at this level
appreciate the honesty
Good look mate.
🤝🏻🤝🏻
Ricola Factory spec !
wow man good luck, i am still pushing my 8semester out 10 semester
good luck mate 👏🏼
Is it still worth to be pursuing architect ?
Very interesting project ! I love it. I wonder if you could do a video on the diagrams you have. They are super clear.
thank you! I will look to do videos on how I produce my drawings in the future 👏🏼
nice to see, im in my last 11 weeks of my architectures degree :)
good luck 👏🏼👏🏼
Can you make a video on how you approached your thesis in detail like sources and the effort you put into make the illustrations
last year i made a video that talks through my design workflow, you might find this useful 👇🏼

what a rabish
Can't wait to see the final presentation
me too 🤝🏻
Asna civil engineer.....just no.
🤣
amazing presentation
thank you 👏🏼
