    Wow, I loved your diagrams/ visual storytelling/ presentation drawings very much. Can't wait to see the final of the project. And also I'm so interesting about your topic studies about 'crane movement' and possibly be used in term of the architectural design such as forms, spatial relationships, flow of space etc.

    When did you start to learn Rhino and Revit, did you use them at undergrad or did you learn them for masters? Also I would love to see a video of the process of you making some of the libeskind style drawings.

    Why Rhino? Is it because of the complexity of the form?

    • @ThomasRowntree
      @ThomasRowntree  Год назад

      yes and I find it the easiest to model in detail

    which architectural software did you use to design your 3D model ? looks like sketchup !
    what do you think is the easiest modelling Architectural 3D software for uni ? and what about your Detailing and presentation board designs ?

    İ did not understand how did you come up to your design with your anlysis.The thing is you have searched lots of movements and did you take it as abstarct concept and apply it to your design? Is not it graphical solution .Can you please explain it i am trying to have a concept i have collect infos but i am not sure how will use those infos for my concept.I did some skeches like yours and i have ideas but i cant relate them with historical anlysis or local anlysis

    Amazing work...but there's a lot of unnecessary complications to be honest, one can hardly understand what you're trying to design.

      I think at this point there was a lack of communication of the project and execution of key drawings. Hopefully once the project is completed you can get a better understanding 👏🏼 thank you and appreciate the comment!

    So random I just started my thesis two months ago. I decided to do it on the port of Tauranga in New Zealand. It’s almost looking at the same concept of merging two opposing functions and showing off the dualities of the two functions through the architectural design… Quite similar to you! I got recommended to watch this video it’s awesome to see somewhat of a president to follow and that I’m not the only “weirdo” that reckons bringing the public into a port is such a fascinating good idea!

    Which one is better for making presentation board Photoshop or indesign?

    • @ThomasRowntree
      @ThomasRowntree  Год назад

      photoshop is great for producing and editing the drawings/images and then indesign is good for organising the images and adding text

    i just saw ur whole video ,i see " A MYSTERY UNBOXING" thats cool . what this made me to say is that ,the way u express through ur drawings like a movie, like u r unboxing a mystery that had been hidden for a long period of time on this port. i like it "EXCELLENT" it is my feedback.

    I'm very impressed with your reseach on tower crane. I am intrigued by the way you present and describe it. But what is its purpose? I still wonder how it affects the shape or space of the design, can you descibe more about it. Anyway, it's a excellent project. Thanks for sharing!
