When my hair was this length this was my go to….I used the Camille rose spike mousse and sat under a hooded dryer ❤
Now she’s grown out and I wash in twist (from your other RUclips video 💕) and I no longer use mousse. Use twisting butters
You should go back to using mousse they do a better job at setting the hair, butters provide no hold

My natural 4c hair always gets dried out & extremely tangled by any shampoo I try, even the shea moisture ones. Usually I try to avoid using them often. I haven’t tried that line though, I think I’ll check it out. It looks like it works for your hair.

Coming through with the 💣 twist out! I love The Doux products. I use the Big Poppa gel and the Mousse Def for my wash and gos. It never disappoints. That’s all I use now for my short TWA. Beautiful! TFS.

Got to figure out a way. I can’t seem to be able avoid mechanical breakage when I style my hair wet or damp. So I usually stretch and dry it up to 70/80% then I twist it. My hair tangles back so fast it’s like that 10 minutes detangling session in the bathroom prior never happened. 🥴💀
I’ll try next week, giving it’s Xmas, I sure won’t have a lot of time to dedicate to my hair😅

I've decided to keep my hair in a tapered cut with the sides and back as short as possible (depending on the length on top and current weather)so I can have some length but also enjoy the short hair at the same time. Maybe you can also try that.

Great video, how do you prep for bedtime and style for the next day to maintain the twist out? I find that my twist out only last about two days.
Personally I just sleep in a bonnet or scarf and let it evolve naturally over the week. I don’t try to preserve the curls but if that matters to you, using a product with more hold as you set your hair will help.
I really want to do this no oils or butter but the challenge I have is how to get the products, I leave in a local place or can I do it with my regular products and just avoid oils or butters, please I need your opinion if you can

Honestly. I don't do anything. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but I find that it evolves and gets getting with time naturally. I just just a satin bonnet at night and fluff in the morning

@@JennJackson sorry I think when you said get my hair squeaky clean, I understood you are cleansing your hair. So I am like it doesn't give squeaky clean hair, it moisturizing your hair. Sorry maybe it's the way I interpreted it. I use that shampoo just for moisturizing purposes.

@@fayth35 that’s right. It balances the PH in order to smooth the cuticles, seal in hydration while conditioning and nourishing the hair with a variety of oils.

Be careful that shampoo has sodium hydroxide
Sodium hydroxide is considered safe when used in small amounts at low concentrations. In this shampoo, it is the very last ingredient used to balance the PH of the product and as a denaturant.
It no such thing as 4c hair
