Thanks, Lord, for Mike Shinoda never really cares so much about fans' opinions and moving Linkin Park forward. Emily was a great finding and a new era is coming. Mike knew what he was doing when he chose Chester and now when he picked Emily. Even 25 years later, Linkin Park still inevitable.
When I heard this song I went to see them at South by southwest in Austin 2014. Then saw them again in Austin in 2015. 75 people max was 10 feet from the stage. Since then i've said Emily Armstrong should be a household name. Once in a generation vocal talent.

It's all producer's will to spend on promotions. Plus consumers tend to stick to a couple of bands giving them all the ear time. Ever since I've started to look for 'non-popular' or local groups my music life changed drastically. It appear that there are so many bands who have less than 1 thousand views but the quality of music and lyrics is just on another level and can easily kick most of popular bands in the ass.

Pleasure to meet you is one of my favorite albums all time. She also has some good EP stuff. If you have the time, listen to some of her live shows. Her early music is much different live. LIsten to the original Blue was the Beautiful you and Radio One Two. They are much different before they were on any albums.
Her and Chester both are blessed with the rare ability to scream with the most beautiful tone ! That's one thing they have in common for sure, and I'm really stoked that she is the new LP singer... Super f**king cool !!!

I'll be honest... I've never EVER heard of Dead Sara before. 10 years after the posting of this video clip online I happily checked it out! I'm here because of Need For Speed: Most Wanted (recently played this). And in my opinion... this is my personal fav, and if not, THE greatest song on the soundtrack! Don't like the change, etc. I for one, think she's great, but most of all...I am so so happy LP is finally healing. I actually heard this song way back in 2012 in Need For Speed Most Wanted and loved it ever since. I just found out that Emily joined Linkin Park and so I listened to The Emptiness Machine since I'm a big Linkin Park fan as well and while she can't replace Chester, of course, she is a great fit in her own way.
The Linkin Park song reminded me of this song because of how she screams there, but I had no clue that's the same person until I saw the comments. I also knew the song because of NFS and the fact I came up on this by accident made my mind blow.
She's not good 😂 EDIT: When she tries to scream and do that raspy voice stuff, she sounds like hot garbage. I heard their new song where she uses her NATURAL voice, and that was actually good.

I assumed she was in a death metal group when I heard her in LP. Pleasantly surprised to see her previous songs were amazing. I don't know when/why she developed this rough death metal growl but her early works are amazing because of its absence.

Heard this song from Most Wanted 2012, too. Did not know much about the band except for this song, and when I checked that Emily Armstrong is a member of Dead Sara I was like "that sounds familiar" and then realized that their hit single is this song, so I came here to listen to it. Gave me memories of going through a city smashing billboards, being chased by police, evading traffic so that I can do the speed camera challenge while hearing this song.
I had no idea about the new LP vocalist but listening to the new LP track I immediately recognised her voice and it reminded me of this song. I knew this song since it was one of the tracks in NFS most wanted which came out 12 years ago and it became a part of my playlist.

You know, this band is a very different sound the LP, but it's really clear even in a song this old that she has that odd, but required ability to scream on key that made me think it would be borderline impossible to find a singer that could helm LP post Chester's passing. What a perfect fit. I can't wait for the new album.
I remember seeing them live at DC101's Kerfuffle in 2012 and I had never heard of them before. They opened with this song and I was an instant fan. She's so energetic live and her voice is such a power house. I'm so happy to see her gaining new fans as both a long time Dead Sara and Linkin Park fan.

I assumed she was in a death metal group when I heard her in LP. Pleasantly surprised to see her previous songs were amazing. I don't know when/why she developed this rough death metal growl but her early works are amazing because of its absence.

I heard this song in a bar, I was immediately so nostalgic for NFS:MW. And it's a huge surprise that this is the band of the new singer LP
I have heard this song when i was younger. Didn't know who performed it, just loved the song but now knowing she is the new vocalist for LP makes me appreciate it even more.
Edit: i researched a bit and found out this song was in the NFS MW 2012 game soundtrack which was also one of the games i loved . This keeps getting more and more interesting..

Heard this song from Most Wanted 2012, too. Did not know much about the band except for this song, and when I checked that Emily Armstrong is a member of Dead Sara I was like "that sounds familiar" and then realized that their hit single is this song, so I came here to listen to it. Gave me memories of going through a city smashing billboards, being chased by police, evading traffic so that I can do the speed camera challenge while hearing this song.
I had no idea about the new LP vocalist but listening to the new LP track I immediately recognised her voice and it reminded me of this song. I knew this song since it was one of the tracks in NFS most wanted which came out 12 years ago and it became a part of my playlist.

You know, this band is a very different sound the LP, but it's really clear even in a song this old that she has that odd, but required ability to scream on key that made me think it would be borderline impossible to find a singer that could helm LP post Chester's passing. What a perfect fit. I can't wait for the new album.

I remember seeing them live at DC101's Kerfuffle in 2012 and I had never heard of them before. They opened with this song and I was an instant fan. She's so energetic live and her voice is such a power house. I'm so happy to see her gaining new fans as both a long time Dead Sara and Linkin Park fan.
