I am a Fenerbahce Basketball fan from Turkey. This most humble and kind person played for Fenerbahce but at that time our organisation managers were idiots. Could not handle the value of Rauf. I am 48, I grew up watching him. We never witnessed something like him. He dropped over 50 against Stockton. Stockton was my hero. He shattered into pieces Stock before my eyes on the TV. Later, his conversion is the main story for us in Turkey; we were in tears when his career was busted by idiots. Rauf is one of the first 3 shooting guards of all time for me. My apologies to his teammates in Denver but they couldn't keep up with him. We know him exactly as who he is. Love him whatever he does. He is a wonderful human being. We hope to see him on big 3 more. He is still a blink of an eye fast compared to his same-aged players. May Allah bless you, brother.
GHS all day! Has always been a standup guy even in high school. He was always an humble guy. You never heard anything negative. It was always positive. His story has always been inspiring to many, especially for those from Gulfport. He has always been destined for greatness. You can't keep a good guy down. God bless him and his family. This was an OUTSTANDING SEGMENT! Great job everyone

Wonderful conversation. Most people don't talk about what really goes on with America. An excellent documentary from his early career , religious conversion and controversy is available on youtube: "By The Dawn's Early Light"
Stand on principles is un heard of in this liberal society Muslims will NOT bend to satisfy Americans love of ALL things evil love and respect brother I remember watching his conversion it was motivating for young black man to see black man who wasn't subservient to worldy gains he should have documentary of his life young people NEED to see true genuine people who are not owned by money may Allah reward you

Can't wait to sit down for this one
Great interview! Big up to you yall and much luv and respect for Bro Mahmond Abdul-Rauf
God is Awesome! Continued Blessings!
Mahmoud the forgotten activist. NBA should do him right and put him on the platform to discuss that turbulent time.
NBA is a corporation that isn’t interested in doing the right thing and working with true activists. The earlier you realize that, the better
They don't want to. Lots of his trouble in came due to being Muslim in a Jewish run league.
He needs to mention Craig Hodges before him.
Thanks Rex for bringing my brother own to tell his story!
Rex, Josh congrats on having the GOAT on your show. MAR is the greatest. Thanks, really cool ep.
Ps Rex, you were a JET also. Loved watching you back in the day also!
