Kanade is one of my favorite drummers. As a person who has played drums in my younger years, I can appreciate her technique and style. She is an awesome drummer, and not to be limited by her gender. I have never believed that a person's gender limits them to do anything. Keep it going girl, I'm a fan.
FWIW, I know only one Japanese male drummer: Akira Jinbo/Jimbo. OTOH, several female drummers do I know: Senri, Yoyoka, Kanade, Akane, Junna. Of those, Kanade seems to be my favourite. 😵💫
At this concert, Kanade added Dave Weckl's Festival de Ritmo into her repertoire. She showed us a perfect performance of this Latin tune as always. I loved it. Kanade never stops growing, I believe.
That was a treat. She is so fluid and accurate across styles. For me she is the tastiest of the prodogy drummers. Kanade I hope you continue to play and evolve.
she is so deep in the pocket, and has amazing chops when needed...thats a combination few drummers have. her dad has pretty good pocket as well.....I am sure Kanade learned that early on.....so nice to see....please keep playing and posting your wonderful talent...
Conglatulate Kanade on 10th Anniversary of a professional debut. Play on the day was nimble and skillful than ever, especially It's about time and Dave Weckle's etude were my favorite. It is great if Atem could post theose music soon.
I am watching your videos since a couple of years now and your development is really impressing. Musicality, virtuosity and sense of groove are outstanding. And it looks soooooo easy ... ;) congratulations once more.
