Powell began his career at NC AT&T and transferred to Sacramento State. He is transferring again because his HC is headed to LSU as an Assistant. Powell is a rare Big left in the portal and highly sought after by KU, Texas, NCStU and Va Tech. My sense he will get plenty of bench time at those P5 schools. At WVU, however, Powell is the missing piece for an NCAAT-bound team and will see plenty of floor time.
