Thanks for all advice and help. I decided on the flex, on exways webpage it said US store is empty but the others were not. I emailed to make sure and got the answer that the European has the flex. I ordered it straight away and during the buying process I got to select to get the board from EU and pay an extra 60 dollars or get it from China. I paid the extra money. After a number of hours I get an email saying not only is the EU store empty but also the Chinese so I could be put on a pre-sales list. I asked for my money back and got it after a few days.I ended up getting the board at a higher price in Sweden where I live. I love the board but the 44T kit I bought does not really work, the belt is too loose and the motors can no be adjusted. The belt cover had been altered but still the belt scraped it even after I had removed more of it. Still like the board a lot, with the trucks loose it is still stable and carves super well. The exway webpage still says only US is out and nothing about pre-sales. Sorry for being long...Thanks
Ya i recently hear that they’re sold out everywhere, including china. But good to hear that u somehow manage to get one. Same for me , for the 44t, i have to remove the belt covers. I now use the stock 36t with 105 cloudwheels instead. Keep on shredding!
@@EboardMY You as well. I put on the cloud wheels and of course it rides nicely but I out the street wheels on and I think I can handle pretty rough roads without the sacrifices of clouds. One can always go back and forth. Thanks
I have over 200miles of riding on the board. I now ride on cloud wheels. The only con about this board is range. The range is not good. Once you've past 10miles or 30-20percent left of battery, the board goes to limp mode and does not want to go very quickly. If this board got a solid 20miles on each charge, that would make the ultimate board.
Lol i love this video review, its funny, good video quality and you took time to identify the details and explain, keep up the good work!! I own the flex and think its a good pick as a first board however i think the stock 85mm wheels on the riot are to small. Oh and you must do a review of the Beast board.
Haha thanks man! Appreciate it. Yes personally i use 105 cloudwheels, but on smooth roads the 85 is nice. I have a beast board with me, thinking of doing a video VS flex. Let’s see 😂
@@EboardMY To compare the Beast board to the Flex is kind of a David and Goliath match-up, no excitement to see there. I have a Beast board as well, would prefer Beast VS Backfire Zealot or Verreal RS or BKB duo or Evolve Bamboo.

Hello, how much more torque does the Flex have compared to the Wave? I have a wave and I thinking of buying the Onsra direct drive or the exway flex. I know I like DKP trucks but the flex has also benefits I think. What do you think? Cheers
Flex have around 20% more torque than the wave, just roughly. If you like dkp trucks, go for boards with dkp trucks 😄 onsra direct drive is good if you can afford it. But personally, i would go wowgo at2 for sure. Can go street or AT. Good dkp trucks and good torque
@@EboardMY Yes, you are probably right about the Wowgo being a good buy. I have had the Verreal RS and was happy with it but like that the Onsra is shorter. I have a Wave and will have a think about the flex or the Onsra. Thank you very much for your help.
I know you have said you like single kingpin trucks more for high speeds. I know many like for instance the Evolve boys in England (average ekskate reviews) go over 30 mph with DKP trucks without problems. I have had two DKP truck board which I enjoyed in many ways but felt on rougher roads the board would pull side to slide depending on the surface. What do you think?
Evolve have really good double kingpin truck settings. Others not really. But now, brands like wowgo or backfire is getting their dkp trucks stable as well. They used to be very wobbly. However, i still stick to good rkp trucks, like the seismic, or paris since i have no issues carving with it anyways. Can carve pretty hard while at the same time be amazingly stable at high speed. Generally, rkp is much more stable at speeds, thats why when downhilling, most boards setup is never dkp trucks 😂 oh btw i talk about standard longboards. For boards as big as evolve gtr, using dkp trucks very beneficial and sometimes is almost a must for better manoeuvrability. Dkp trucks can be stable at speeds, but nowhere near the stability of rkp trucks... like u said, it takes more effort and skill to keep it centred.
Hands off the exway products (!): The goods were delivered with a defective battery, the board abruptly stops running and can no longer be braked (this is life-threatening). Currently I argue with the support in endless chats. I would have no claim to intact replacement, since I have driven the board. This is NOT the case, as the battery after the first charge showed the above defects. Save yourself time and nerves, go to another manufacturer. Kind Regards André Pauli (M.Sc., banker and management consultant)
Would u say that there's kind of a breaking in process to the board? My dad kind of hopped on it (he's around 190) and it made a kind of unnerving crack sound if you know what I'm saying. Just want to make sure it's not anything major. Thanks!
Maybe it’s just the sound of the trucks or the enclosures actually hit the ground ? But try checking it, if you find no cracks then you’re all good i think 😁👍🏻
