I dont think they will balance it unfortunately. Maybe if gem level goes past 10 you can get to like 15 eventually from dailies and that will offer some relief but they seem to be ignoring the community on this one. Its pretty much all ive been asking for

Lvl 11 should be it instead of 10. Lvl 12 should be easy. Anything above 12 will make it a walk in the park lol
