Whether this is they sourced it from Ali express or Ali express copied them it looks it is coming in rolls, cut by hand and repackaged with cloth and paper branding. I was hoarding these so now I can happily use it knowing I can replace it for a fraction of the cost. Thank you.

I did the same thing. I ordered a ton of items from AilExpress that are all shown in the 'High End', elegant kits and shops such as Cloth and Paper. I purchased my printable inserts from EOEdits (Gorgeous!), and toped the whole thing off with beautiful handmade papers from Mulberry Paper to be used to make 'High End' art/junque journals. I'm pretty much good for the year!

I have the coun purse size on my lanyard for lip balms and my inhaler. Makeup bag keeping lip products from getting lost at bottom, as well as eye pencils, tools, etc! I definitely think that they are buying the roll and reselling. I have found that it's fairly common. The short wide paperclips that are on etsy are from ali express as well. I bought 5 paperclips for $4 on etsy then bought a box of 50 on aliexpress for $1. 🤷🏻♀️😂.
C&P are doing what’s called “private labeling!” A lot of companies do this especially if they are small business owners. Amazon is filled with private label companies!

Sometimes the factory get an order from an overseas company so they make the product to that specification (with their branding) afterwards they produce up spare parts and sell it off much cheaper on the local market.
It’s definitely possible that C&P is reselling those stickers. It’s a whole business model to buy in bulk cheap from sites like AliExpress, rebrand and resell for more. There are actual classes that are advertised in Adds before some planner videos here on RUclips teaching how to resell on Amazon. I don’t know for sure if that’s what's happening here, but it is a possibility. Ty for the shop recommended, I added it to my following list. Always good to know which shops actually complete their orders.

I have a big lineup of TNs and filofax and I think it's ok to have a variety each year and to switch them up through the year bc it allows the mind to be creative and explore possibilities. I just love them all. Last year I tried the Jibun Techo B6 slim Biz and I loved that but the cover bugged me so much and I can't order a leather cover bc I am in Canada and with the exchange and charges it's outrageous. One thing I know is I love leather (sorry to the cows and goats, I hope they were used for something else and not just covers), and I love a bunch of different sizes because I change up my EDC every single day and rarely use the same combo for two days in a row. I love keeping everything in order, it's not wasted time to me, but focused time to reinforce my top priorities in a variety of ways. Thanks for the vid, I really enjoyed it. it’s common practice, so I wouldn’t be surprised nor icked by cloth and paper reselling those washi. it’s also possible that the reverse is happening where the AE reseller got the design from the same factory that made cloth and paper’s, bec chinese factories are quite notorious for having stolen designs and unfortunately, copyright owners can’t really do anything about it except go after the stores that sell them (think hot topic stolen designs).
I think it’s a good business move. That’s the main goal in business. To buy low and sell high. Even so, they’re not terribly expensive, it’s a great mark up!

On the back end these factories will also make extra or replicated unbranded product available on Ali Express or some other similar marketplace.

Iamcheryl yup. I remember a fountain pen box that had fake kaweco and off brand pens I’ve only seen for sale on AliExpress. I’m a fan of the C&P branded and designed products and really hope the days of marked up AliExpress are over.
Aliexpress is known to take designs, copy them and sell them cheaper. They are stealing hardworking people’s designs. I am a stamping up demonstrator and they have done the same thing with stamps and dies. Let’s support our home grown businesses. I would contact cloth and paper to ask I am very sure this is what has happened.
the reason why I'm not subscribed to their subscription box is because I did notice that alot of their pens can be found on taobao (aka the chinese version of aliexpress). I myself buy more stuff from taobao and it's funny to see some of the items that c&p sell.

Yeah, this too, apparently there aren’t any copyright laws, or their so different in China that they can get away with it. I was watching an enamel pin designer who'd been ripped-off trying to fight to get their original design off of a reseller site.

You’ll be surprised how many people buy stuff from aliexpress and DHgate at wholesale prices and then resale it for twice or three times as much, I’ve seen so many things I’ve found on aliexpress and dhgate sold by people for ridiculous prices that’s why I go to straight to these websites myself and buy my own stuff if I can find what I want even if I have to wait a long time for it, there’s nothing wrong with supporting your fav brand but I feel like I’m being ripped off when I see something from aliexpress sold by someone and it’s extremely overpriced yes I understand people have to make a profit but their prices don’t have to be that high considering what they pay for it at wholesale

Use a credit card NOT a bank card that's attached to your actual checking acct! You won't miss a beat if your CC ever gets effected and once you put in a complaint, you will be reimbursed no issues (altho banks will issue refund as well, but still). I've been using Ali Express for years and NEVER had an issue!
