It’s possible for couples to survive infidelity, but that’s usually the case if the relationship itself is a very long one - with adult/older kids. Their children are babies. I wish Ariel the best but the next years are going to be hard. I hope it’s worth it in the end.
I think the idea of divorce is also crushing to so many mothers in this position because it means shared custody and missing (usually) 50% of your child’s life while they are under the age of 18. That is a HARD thing to go forward with that in mind, especially when your children are still so young with so many milestones you want to be there for and witness ahead.
Unfortunately for Ariel, no matter which path she chooses life will be painful and she will have to be placed in a situation that is not fair and is solely caused by the action of her supposed “loving” husband.
There is no doubt that she loves her two young boys with her entire being, and I have no doubt that it is them she is doing this for, for so many reasons. She most definitely also loved Ned, and probably still does, but if they were childfree, I think leaving would have been an “easier” choice. At least this way she gets to be with her children 24/7, experience every milestone, and foster every aspect of development. There will be no birthdays that are missed. No Christmases that she doesn’t get to see the joy and magic on her children’s faces. No moment that is missed from their lives. And from her point of view, she’s also saving them from the trauma of divorced parents and a “broken” home.
All of it is just really sad for both Ariel and the children, because they are the ones who truly have to pay for Ned’s horrific actions longterm and are forced into a situation they never chose or wanted for themsleves. My heart breaks for them, and I can only pray that Ariel finds peace with whatever path she chooses in life going forward. She deserves genuine happiness and genuine love.

Once a man who has never had power finally gets it, he cannot resist it. This man was a loser for most of his life, putting his wife on a pedestal since he thought he couldn't do better. Since being a content creator gave him a power that attracted women, his self-worth grew, and he realized that there were more women besides "my wife."

Poor Ariel. I hope they're staying together just for their children and once they're grown they'll separate. He won't change. To do cheat repeatedly with and go out in public with his employee but think he could get away with it is such a tell of who he is. That said, at least on camera, he does seem to love his kids and is a great dad to them. So it would be wrong of me to wish him out of their lives. That is their father regardless of what happens in the mariage. But I deff think Ariel deserves better and they should split onces the kids are old enough to understand the situation. Cheating happens all the time and couples work throgh it - but this unfolded publically for the world to see. Very different and I imagine she'll always have a bad taste in her mouth and constant unexpected reminders of it when going online. I think a separation is in both their best interest - again after the kids are olderm or actually, maybe do it now while they're too young to understand. Who knows. I have friends whose parents divorced later and they say they wish it had been done when they wouldn't remenber and also vice versa
