I watched that John K and Billy West thing and the most awkward thing about it was how Howard Stern and his co-host were trying so hard to bait them both into getting in a shouting match while constantly pushing that there was tension in the air when there really wasn't
It kind of makes rewatching episodes where the creators hated it awkward. It's like watching a movie knowing that during the shooting the actors despised each other. It leaves me with this uncomfortable feeling that while I'm sitting there having a good time, I'm actually watching someone's misery.
You’re putting too my emotion and effort and thought into something that doesn’t matter. Go outside and interact with real people and experience real discomfort.

Tomino, the creator of the Gundam franchise hated the sequel Victory Gundam to the point where in the extras in the dvd, he basically tells you that you're an idiot for buying the Victory Gundam DVD.
Cool Tomino is known for being very outspoken about what he dislikes. He had one interview back in 1994 after making Victory Gundam with Hideaki Anno where he criticized the anime industry and discredited Record of Lodoss War in confusion as to how it's popular. While i was in LA, one of my teachers who works at Starburns told me about John K. Apparently John (a man then in his late 30s) had an 18 year old girlfriend who would sit in his lap as he spoon fed her. She referred to him as "daddy."

Hence the name... Lip$h!ts. (uhuhuhu) I do like Eric's interpretation of the Rugrats as adults, though (most of them, at least). Not glamorous, but they kinda fit.
Why isn't the phantom blood movie in this. It was shown in theaters but Araki hated it so much he refused to broadcast it anymore or give it a DVD release and now it's lost
Well first of all Araki didn't make that and there's a lot more to it. 1. That movie made no money and would probably cost more to put on DVD than they'd get from DVD sales. 2. The studio also made the Stardust Crusaders OVA which at the time was recently discovered to contain parts of the Koran for less than a second. Araki was forced to redraw scenes in the manga where mosques are destroyed which made both the publisher and Araki mad with them.
I don't feel like Lauren Faust regrets Mlp that much. She is always quick to defend the fanbase and occasionally voices how she misses working on the show.
If you revisit this topic will you put the Hayao Miyazaki "anime was a mistake" interview? It was a mistranslation of the interview, but he was expressing his disappointment in the anime industry.
i like when top 10 lists are based on the opinions and or facts of the person doing it (you know LIKE THEY SHOULD BE), not when is just a big popularity contest where every idiot can choose whatever they want (like a top 10 best anime where DRAGON BALL Z IS NUMBER 1 ABOVE ALCHEMIST ABOVE AKIRA WHERE JOJO'S ISNT EVEN ON THE TOP AT ALL AND SAO IS NUMBER 2) i just hate that kind of tops and thats why i dispise watchmojo's SOULLESS TOPS ( WE DONT THINK THESE THINGS SUCKS BUT WHERE GONNA AD THEM ANYWAY BECAUSE MONEY)
Eh I hated those future designs for them as adults as well, but the ones he came up with just looked sorta depressing. One went too far for perfection while the other went too far for imperfection and the result is that they all looked pretty generic.
lol, you mustn’t have a real life. Go outside and talk to people. Get off RUclips and tv so you can experience what real depression is and not kiddy pathetic “depressing” feelings from seeing grown up cartoon characters. Lol. How pathetic.
I didn't see it as "depressing" but more so "realistic". Since we live in a beauty obsessed culture, those artists felt the need to make them look perfect. I can understand why he drew the characters the way he did. He wanted to show them as average people. Real life is the same way.
FOR THOSE COMMENTING ABOUT REBELTAXI "PREDICTING" ABOUT JOHN,K's ALLEGATIONS: I recommend look on his blog because that's where most of the signs are that went on for deeeecades, which is why im not surprised by the John,K thing at all.
I think that's more 20/20 hindsight. It's easy to look back on someone's past actions or statements and construct a narrative. But it's also easy to forget now that he was already unpopular when he was outed, just because he had a reputation for being an asshole who's entire MO was to go out of his way to offend people, so it was easy to assume (at least I did) that any and all pederastic remarks or jailbait characters was just another thing he did to get under people's skin, and that, at worse, he was COMPLACENT with statutory rape even if he didn't commit it himself. He had such an extreme personality that any assumption that he actively harmed people (instead of just being unpleasant) came off like an overreaction, that he was all bark and no bite - kind of like what a lot of us used to assume about Donald Trump. Again, hindsight is 20/20. Post-#MeToo and Trump, it's easy to look at guys like this and be more than suspicious, or at least a lot less tolerant of the behavior alone. Now I think a lot fewer of us accept the notion that anyone says things just to say them.
Alternate Future Chandler Bing and 700 Skeletons no i like the show but Alex Hirsh is terrible at drawing, Ian Worrel designed the show how did that man go to art school even though he cant draw
Alternate Future Chandler Bing and 700 Skeletons Matt Greoning can't draw he desinged the characters and created the show in 15 minutes, the original designs in the Tracey Ulman shorts were bad but Sam Simon redesigned them for season 1 and then they looked like actual cartoons
Alternate Future Chandler Bing and 700 Skeletons when went to Fox and Gracie Films he was originaly going to try to sell them a animated version of his comic strip life in hell but he he found out he would loose the rights so he drew a family quickly. they were named after his family but he named the 10 year old kid Bart instead of Matt
Alternate Future Chandler Bing and 700 Skeletons to make a cartoon all you need is characters with different personalities and a place for them to live you base the characters on yourself, your family, making fun of your friends quirks, and cartoon characters you love, and a paper and pencil
Crunchyscarf Both Sony and Hasbro. If only she was a better diplomat, just like a mlp, Meghan was very intelligent at managing that franchise once she took her place.
Pan, are you aware of the Rugrats Story Board Jam, where Stu basically abuses every character in room? Didi gets knocked out after being called a bitch, Stu makes Tommy have PTSD or some shit, and tells Angelica "That's right, my little c-word. One day you'll be Daddy's little girl."
That whole John K trying to get Billy West to walk off with him reminds me of Herb Kazazz from BoJack Horseman although more...ambiguous to put it kindly
I always thought that's what it was analogous to. Ironically, the Bojack version of this story is MORE ambiguous than the real version: whatever you think of Bojack and Herb's relationship (I personally think that Herb acted just as entitled about Bojack's loyalty as Bojack did about Herb accepting his apology), it's clear that both sides have a point and there's no easy answer. There's no way to spin the story of John K demanding Billy West's loyalty to him without John just sounding like a flagrant bully.
IIRC John K was once even called out by one of his own idols, Ralph Bakshi. Specifically Bakshi called him a "one hit wonder" who "got lucky" and can't stand how John K's personal problems like his perfectionist attitude tend to bring down those who work with him.
Just because you don't like their content doesn't mean that it's a smaller studio than Frederator. They have a lot of contracts with toy franchises, and have a lot more cartoons and movies in production today, while Frederator has like 2-3 cartoons in production and some youtube cartoons and shorts which give little money back to them.
Patrik Emanuel Are you saying Rainmaker Studios work isn't shit? Because it is, the only somewhat decent thing they've done is the Ratchet & Clank movie (because the animation was decent).
i'm not saying what they make is good, i'm saying it gives them a lot more money than you would think. The only thing i'd say they made that is truly good is Reboot. Ratchet and Clank was good in animation, but the director just shat on everything else.
I had such an unhealthy obsession with John K. I read his whole blog, I refused to watch anything animated by anyone else, and I even wrote him a letter(he never responded). I spent all my money and Ren and Stimpy merch, and now I have a huge R&S poster that stares directly into my soul when I try to sleep at night. I cried myself to sleep knowing that he would never know my dedication.
I decided not to like your comment....because of your name. I don't mean to get all serious but even though I found it funny, I hope you aren't actually suicidal.
I have a difficult love/hate relationship with John K. On the one side, I admire his ambition, his high standards, his appreciation for classic animation, and the old ways of making it. On the other side, I think he goes WAY too far with pushing the envelope, and being shocking for the sake of being shocking. Having said that, I can totally understand why he hated working at Filmation. Lou Scheimer had to work with limited resources. resulting in limited animation. Sure, Lou kept all of his animation in house, but he NEVER innovated his animation. Only the special effects, but NEVER the animation. On the other hand, John NEVER learned to innovate his approach to make cartoons so that they can meet deadlines. I've learned some harsh lessons about meeting deadlines, and have learned a few tricks of my own. (I'll probably learn more as I continue.) It really is a shame John K. has to be such a perfectionist because If he knew better, he would've been the modern equivalent to Chuck jones, or Tex Avery.
@@amelon1803 yeah, but on all honesty that sort of Steven universe style of art is getting really fucking played out, especially on cartoon network. It really is kind of a lazy style to be honest
@@POLARSCARETHESOLDIER thing is the CalArts style had NOTHING to do with the whole "bean smiles" aesthetic, it specifically referred to Disney-esque style, which John K said looked "gay"
I think John K is passionate when it comes to animation but the problem is he's *OVERLY* passionate to the point where he becomes over bearing. What he should've done was dial his passion down a bit at a level where he could communicate with is co-workers without giving them headaches.
I always thought equal fights was a really great episode. It calls out phony selfish feminism, like the kind more interested in selling eyeliner than actually empowering women.
Do women really need *more* "empowerment" in first world, Western countries though? If anything they can get away with a lot more than men these days. Especially when it comes to the law, women get much lighter sentences than men who commit the same crime. Some act like the first and second wave of feminism never happened and women are still second class citizens.
Rhythm Rev That’s because it was something everyone in the animation industry knew but no one said anything about it. An Open Secret if you will, hence the name of the video blameitonjorge made.
Everyone knew. According to Robyn Byrd, people who worked for Spumco knew it was wrong, but never said anything due to fear of potentially losing their job.
are we just not gonna talk about the fact that the character's name was literally pronounced as "Lip Shits" ...Did anyone ever think of the weirdness behind the names on old Nickelodeon Shows? I remember another one on Doug, the superintendent principle's last name was pronounced as "Butt Savage"
Gaylord is also a real name, but still I think some of the names have double meanings, like sometimes joke by the crew, perhaps a gamble to see if the censors complain or just for laughs.
The term "Gay" didn't always have the meaning it has now. It used to mean something along the lines of "Happy" or something. This is why in Christmas music you often hear it mentioned once or twice. In fact, it was even in My Life As A Teenage Robot's Christmas special. I don't believe the name Gaylord is really used these days anymore though.
I always felt like that was an intentional pun, regardless of it being a real name. I took it as the writers' way of saying the character was full of shit, and that everything he said was ridiculous, i.e. he talks a lot of shit. I mean, you just can't outright call him Dr. Bullshit.
I was kinda shocked to not see Arnold Betrays Iggy on here from Hey, Arnold! Then again, I know the directors and writers were the ones responsible for that episode. Anyway, good list. Very interesting and I don't blame Billy for not quitting his job for John K. I probably wouldn't have quit my job, either.
If you think what you said about John K. is all the batshit insane things he's done, it's just the tip of the iceberg. As much as I love Ren and Stimpy, even I can't forgive John K for the shit talking he did on the Speilberg and Warner Bros. cartoons. Heads up, he designed a character for Tiny Toons. He then shit talked Animaniacs. Yeah, THAT Animaniacs.
I heard he was a dick to a fan at a convention just because they were wearing an Animaniacs shirt. And that he told Charlie Adler (voice of Buster Bunny and others) he was a terrible actor to his face.
Super Gamer61499 Tell me about it. Somehow that man's gonna regret himself when he's in a home about in his 70s or whatever and realizes what he's done was horribly wrong and uncalled for.
***** If he said that he didn't like Animaniacs or Tiny Toons that's one thing. It's another to treat someone like crap about it just because they wore a shirt related to that. Honestly, I want to respect John K for his show revolutionizing the cartoons of today but his behavior stops me from respecting him. It's almost Phil Fish levels of asshole. And believe me, that's not a compliment at all given I hate that guy's guts.
Jhonen Vasquez would have been a GREAT one for the list. His anecdotes of working with Nick are hilarious AF and he has an entire comic arguably low key written about his time there.
I still remember Hey Arnold!'s Arnold betrays Iggy. That episode was despised so much, public and crew alike, that Iggy never appeared as a main or secondary character ever again, only becoming background fodder even in the movie.
Poor Faust, she helped to create all of those wonderful pieces of media (except "Quest for Camelot") and got blamed for the worst moves from each show. I really feel bad for her
I'm not a parent, and that episode kinda gave me hives. I understood what they were _trying_ to do but in practice, what they did was punish Twilight for believing she can learn about something mysterious through empirical methods. I'm honestly not a media-needs-morals kinda person but portraying scientists as inept closeminded busybodies is a _horrible_ message for children. There's any number of radical groups, corporations and ideologies that love to capitalize on scientific ignorance and our continual failure to prepare them for that makes my teeth itch.
I'm not sure I understand exactly what you're trying to say. Science _encourages_ conflicting ideas regardless of public opinion, _if_ you can actually back them up. If you're doing science "in secret" then your results are probably faulty, because nobody else qualified is looking them over and you're at the mercy of your own errors and biases.
I like them myself and the animation was always wretched, that was how thy got away with so much crap. but yeah pip was annoying so they killed him off...but to be honest pip's episode was hilarious.
I found very funny how they were complaining about the interpretation of the grown up rugrats when they actually did a grown up version of them and they ended up been really generic
Yeah. The "you'll never believe how the rugrats look as adults" articles always made the rugrats into these hipster, twitter loving, hip and trendy adults. I always found it cringy. The official artist's interpretation which made them look abit generic was, well....abit of a let down. Though I think his artwork was much more faithful. Also, he's right. Chucky would not be some geeky hipster kid brimming with self confidence. I see why people didn't like his artwork either. But, i'll take it over everything else.
Angelica had to be a little monster. It's one of the few things that made the Rugrats a great show in the first place. Yes, she goes to far but without her and her horrible personality all you have Is the babies getting into trouble and having adventures with their imaginations. It would still be a good show but It would kinda be like taking a bit to much spice out of a good pot of curry, and I don't mind the spice that much.
They also sometimes made her likeable enough that you couldn't just outright hate her the entire time,p lus they gave enough reason for her being that way from her parents. Honestly, Angelica reminded me of my older sister, who though was awful to me would sometimes be nice, and I just couldn't bring myself to hate her, because I could see the good. She was just a mischievous meanie brat, but not evil, haha. and she still obviously cared about me even if she liked screwing with me (as Angelica does care about the babies :P)
I used to draw comics when I was 9. And I hate every single one of those comics. Except one that had a talking anthropomorphic dog and his owner who were superheros but also journalists and a talking pencil that flied on a pigeon and was a secret agent. That shit was awesome.
Thanks for the comment at the end towards artists. I've been struggling with getting some projects done for a deadline and was kinda bummed about having to trash some of the more intricate ideas. Sometimes I need to be reminded I don't have to do a perfect job so I really appreciate that.
Watching Lauren Faust and John K's parts in this video honestly almost made me cry a bit. I feel really sorry for everyone mentioned in this video, making cartoons is an exhausting job and this video really shows why. Honestly, this is why I get mad at fandoms so much when they're disrespectful or talk shit about a person's work, especially cartoon reviewers who LOVE to tear apart episodes like "Ren Needs Help" and "Everyone Knows it's Bendy." Yes, everyone hates these episodes and they're not the best, but do you really think the creators themeselves aren't aware of it and hate it themselves as well? I mean come on, these people get enough shit having to deal with company decessions they hate or not being proud of their own work sometimes. Last thing they need are people constantley criticizing and nitpicking their work nonstop. Cartoonists are still people afterall. Give them a break already.
I disagree, if they put out bad work and know it's bad work, then they deserve criticism. Sure nobody's perfect and people can be unreasonable, but criticism needs to exist for these artists to grow. Also look at it more positively, imagine a large portion of the audience loved Everybody Knows it's Bendy and they made other episodes to tailor to that. Negative backlash prevents bad episodes or shows the creators hate from being made.
ew275x I agree criticism needs to exist. But people just need to learn not to be destructive and disrespectful about it. If you're harsh like that, you're most likely gonna look like someone who doesn't treat cartoonists like human beings. I know it's natural to want to complain and talk about why you didn't like what the artist created and try to give them tips on how to improve. Just saying, don't act like they're always unaware of how bad it is and constantly drive it into the ground about how bad it is. Lauren herself even said in this video, that she wishes people would stop complaining about her worst epsiodes. She didn't say that cause she can't take criticism, she said it because she's aware of her mistakes and does want to improve, she's just tired of complaints she's heard a million times. And a lot of other cartoonists who get constant shit like that are sick of the million complaints they get as well. Let's be honest, there's only so many times reviewers can get mad at bad episodes until it gets old and they start to look like they have nothing better to do. Not saying criticism is a bad thing, but there are times when it can go too far. Again, most cartoonists just want to be treated like human beings, because they are human. They do make mistakes and they do want to learn from them. But they don't want to be treated like slaves and be told they always do everything wrong.
I would say I somewhat agree but also disagree. I disagree because criticism is a necessity no matter how harsh it ultimately is. And as for the part I agree with I do admit some hatred for certain things can go too far.
There still just people. There's a limit to much shit someone will take. Criticism is good but she. It's shoved in ur face all the time, by people who don't even know animation it just comes off as rude. No ones perfect enough to stay positive after receiving "criticism" from so many people.
+PyroDanTheManiac Hatred can get over the top, especially if it gets personal like what Mr. Enter did with some of the SpongeBob staff. That was unacceptable, unproductive, and unwarranted. I do think though Lauren Faust might enjoy a video like the Nostalgia Critic ripping on Quest for Camelot, since she didn't like it. I think you are disregarding that. I don't get it from your comment if your big problem is when 10,000 people criticizing 1 thing or 1 person criticizing something 10,000 times. The first is inevitable and people have the right to do it, especially if they can do it in a new or interesting way. The other one should likely be toned down.
Two, one I don't really regret since she's my main OC now, but the other one I kinda do because of embarrassing memories, but I used her for roleplays and that fully introduced me into it.
MY OC IS FREDDY THE HEDGEHOG HE'S THE STRONGEST OF ALL THE SONIC CHARACTERS AND ISN'T JUST SONIC BECAUSE HE'S GREEN NOT BLUE WHICH MAKES HIM TOTALLY DIFFERENT DO NOT STEAL
Bree SilverSoul Actually, I kinda regret my Ninjago OC, Chapps... That miserable little rodent is what my 11 year old mind used to handle all the things I hated about the show. I eventually stopped watching the show because I couldn't shoehorn him into every single episode of the series I watched any longer...
When they were fancharacters I regretted it as well as the fanfiction. But then I took them out of the fandom and just made them regular OCs I could develop how I want.
9:40 kinda like how camp lazlo ended with Scoutmaster Lumpus getting arrested after being revealed to be an impostor, and that he tied up and locked the real scoutmaster in a closet.
Equal Fights was one of the _best_ episodes of The Powerpuff Girls ever and basically the best lesson about sexism in general and feminism in specific ever put to fiction.
I think lauren is just focusing on the few who backlashed against it than the people who do like it, because I noticed all the episodes that she hates is ones that had backlash to an extent
eartianwerewolf And what little subtlety there is goes right over the heads of the people who need the lesson the most - you know the sort of people who drink from "Male Tears" cups and write #KillAllMen and the like. Sexists who happen to desire female superiority. The lack of subtlety is actually a _good_ thing here, since these people need to be bludgeoned over the head with the message.
Weell...you can't really blame Bruce Willis for acting the way he did in that interview. Bluntly put those were some stupid questions to ask. He only did the character for the paycheck. How would he know why they wanted Spike to speak all of a sudden?

I regret those Alice assignments from when I was 20. Ugh, that program sucked ass. Worst program to teach coding. At least give us textbooks for Java script!
As an artist still constantly trying to practice and perfect both my art and work ethic, that last bit at 18:33 really hit me. Really encouraging to hear that honestly. Keep up the great work, Pan!
I heard that short was originally planned for the second movie, but it didn't happen. Knowing John, he probably couldn't meet deadlines. We have until 2019 before the third one, so maybe he can finish it on time for that? I at least hope...
That would be amazing. It would be nice to see him have another chance at television. I mean, if he's learned anything from the mistakes he's made in the past.
John K is exactly where he deserves to be. Ren and Stimpy's success is owed almost entirely to Billy West and all the execs who reined John K in. Normally I'm all for unrestricted creative freedom - but I've seen what John K makes on his own, and it's godawful.
This has gotta be one of my favorite videos for the ending. I'm kinda like John, in the case of I'm like a perfectionist that's so insecure about my art that it would take a few days of looking over a simple sketch or drawing, or I'd never post it. Your words at the end are really inspiring, I keep repeating it.

Holy shit, this episode is fucking filled to the brim for a top five list.
This is what top ten lists use to be like before generic companies got a hold of it going after only what was trending interest
i like when top 10 lists are based on the opinions and or facts of the person doing it (you know LIKE THEY SHOULD BE), not when is just a big popularity contest where every idiot can choose whatever they want (like a top 10 best anime where DRAGON BALL Z IS NUMBER 1 ABOVE ALCHEMIST ABOVE AKIRA WHERE JOJO'S ISNT EVEN ON THE TOP AT ALL AND SAO IS NUMBER 2) i just hate that kind of tops and thats why i dispise watchmojo's SOULLESS TOPS ( WE DONT THINK THESE THINGS SUCKS BUT WHERE GONNA AD THEM ANYWAY BECAUSE MONEY)
And when they do break away from mainstream opinion, you have stupid shit like calling Gravity Falls one of the Worst Disney cartoons.
they apologized for that you know!
I Am No One Dude, he was voicing his opinions on character designs.
The fuck are you smokin?
Chill out, idiot.
I thought his interpretation was pretty dead on. It's the way real people look.
@@PastorJustinWade He doesn't mean depressing as in the actual illness, moron. He meant depressing as a tone of design choice. You're pathetic.
I didn't see it as "depressing" but more so "realistic". Since we live in a beauty obsessed culture, those artists felt the need to make them look perfect. I can understand why he drew the characters the way he did. He wanted to show them as average people. Real life is the same way.
FOR THOSE COMMENTING ABOUT REBELTAXI "PREDICTING" ABOUT JOHN,K's ALLEGATIONS:
I recommend look on his blog because that's where most of the signs are that went on for deeeecades, which is why im not surprised by the John,K thing at all.

"That's okay Ren, lot's of people make cartoons that can't draw."
Me...
also Alex Hirsh, Matt Greoning
Lauren Faust needs more self-confidence.
Yeah, it's better to be confident with all of your work, than regreting it. If people enjoyed it then who cares?
And John K. needs less.
More self-confidence, yeah. Especially because she keeps leaving projects that could establish her as a cornerstone in the industry.

Is there a citation of this?

Rainmaker bought Frederator? HOW? Frederator still makes good shit, Rainmaker made two good shows like 20 years ago and nothing good since.
Alexcalibur42 Frederator? Making something good in recent years? That pretty funny.
Lamani Santiago Hey Adventure Time is good, from what I've heard. Plus their online stuff was good
Just because you don't like their content doesn't mean that it's a smaller studio than Frederator.

Equal Fights is one of my favorite episodes of PPG. I love how it makes the girls question if what they're doing is right
Do women really need *more* "empowerment" in first world, Western countries though? If anything they can get away with a lot more than men these days. Especially when it comes to the law, women get much lighter sentences than men who commit the same crime.

are we just not gonna talk about the fact that the character's name was literally pronounced as "Lip Shits"
...Did anyone ever think of the weirdness behind the names on old Nickelodeon Shows?
I remember another one on Doug, the superintendent principle's last name was pronounced as "Butt Savage"
lipschitz is a real name so it's okay. Also I remember when Billy and Mandy had a character called Professor Gaylord.
Gaylord is also a real name, but still I think some of the names have
double meanings, like sometimes joke by the crew, perhaps a gamble to
see if the censors complain or just for laughs.
DrClay999 Gaylord is a real name? How much does someone have to hate their kid to name them something like that?
Bullshit.

He then shit talked Animaniacs. Yeah, THAT Animaniacs.
Seriously?! Wow, what a jerk.

Trey Parker & Matt Stone have stated that they hate the first three seasons of South Park, especially Pip.
Can't blame them. The animation is wretched and the comedy doesn't make up for it.
I like them myself and the animation was always wretched, that was how thy got away with so much crap.

I kinda agree, I always found the first few seasons of South Park to be incredibly cringy.

Yeah that is true. But as later seasons came along, she kinda got Meh later on.

I made some comics of my own in my Art Class Sketchbook, they're alright, but the drawings aren't that good.

Hey Rebel Taxi, I would love to see a review of the Hot Wheels Highway 35 and Hot Wheels Acceleracers movies. Those were my favorite animated movies as a kid and I still enjoy them to this day and I hope that you could make a review video on them like you did for Megas XLR.
RebelTaxi pan pizza, more like Brooklyn style pizza
UB - DS01? more like penis breath
I want you to REALLY watch those Acceleracers movies....I just really doooo. and highway 35 while your at it.
Hey Pan, just wanted to ask, is there going to be any announcements about when the next live podcast is on RUclips, or am I going to need to keep an eye out elsewhere?
I love how the ads are during intermission instead of a lot of other RUclips videos with ads interrupting what I watch.
It is literally one of the best parts of the show in imo
I regret my bad Sonic the Hedgehog fan drawings from when I was 9.
I reget those Scratch projects that I made back when I was 13...
mushroomdude123 hey, I did those too. The school I'm at tried to teach coding once and we used Scratch, it was awful.
I regret those Alice assignments from when I was 20. Ugh, that program sucked ass. Worst program to teach coding. At least give us textbooks for Java script!
I regret my own art. I don't how to make poses and do anatomy right.
As an artist still constantly trying to practice and perfect both my art and work ethic, that last bit at 18:33 really hit me. Really encouraging to hear that honestly. Keep up the great work, Pan!
14:24 Creepy that this was common knowledge before the allegations came out.
I hope John K makes a comeback but that will probably never happen.
Kelvin Reyes actually I think he's working on a new Ren and Stimpy short for the new spongebob movie
Kelvin Reyes he's made a new yogi bear cartoon for adult swim.
I wonder if there any video pan regrets doing
Really?
Do u know the video title
"it's the Nut shack" video for example, it started the meme.
Pan said he regrets making most of his videos. Only does it because subscribers or some stupid shit.
Internally Dying When and where did he say that?.. people tend to pass off "things this guy said" all the time when they never said it so I'm just skeptical >.>
Haha, I had no idea why they hated Dire Straits so much on Reboot, I remember watching that episode and being mad about it because that song is awesome. Now I know why, and it makes perfect sense.

"We all got it"
Except Lemmy from Motorhead
True and wow I did not expect to see Motörhead get mentioned in a comment section of a cartoon video 😂
Bow down to Rainmaker. . . or Rebel them!
i would pay good money to see a star wars rebellion on rainmaker
This is a Rebeltaxi, isn't it? I rebel.
At the end of these videos I feel a sense of inspiration from your 'speeches'... but I'm too lazy to accomplish half the goals I already have.
"Who's gonna be number 1"
Shows number 5 on screen
"Regret. We all have it...
*even the people who make **_cartoons!_*
WHAT? REALLY? EVEN THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE CARTOONS? WHAAAAT?
“Um...”
-Bruce Willis
That advice at 18:39 was something I really needed to hear, thank you.
Thank you Pan for making a reference to Chicago
Wow, those last words of yours were really inspiring to me. Thanks Pan.
13:12 Kind of ironic that Pan Pizza, of all people, would say that, given his similarities to María Ruiz de Burton (author of "Who would have *thought* it", the first novel to be written in English by a Mexican living in the United States.
14:13 Something doesn't quite add up, here.
the dog talks because in the Wild Thornberries (which is the show the rugrats crossed over with) Eliza has the power to talk to animals.
