Trey King It is a really long story. Long story short Richard Williams was 6 months behind on the production of the theif and the cobbler so miramax (the main funder of the film) booted him off his own project and quickly made the shitty excuse of an Aladdin rip off we know today. And keep in mind that Williams was using his own money and 20 years to make this only to get it taken away from him and remade into something much different and worse compared to his original idea.
Nick Vagnone "shitty excuse of an alladin rip off?" umm...I'm not sure if you understand but the thief and the cobbler was long before aladdin and secondly the original story of it is actually called the thief and the cobbler and the movie that was originally going to be made was going to accurately describe the story in good detail. However we instead got the movie Aladdin by Disney taking the spotlight and that movie is no where near the original story because well...the original story is very dark and fucked up so disney would have to make it for kids.
He ain't lying about the Thief and the Cobbler thing. The released Miramax version is awful and the cheap animation made to fill in the gaps really shows. But the Recobbled Cut is actually on RUclips, and it is amazing to watch! Granted the story is nothing incredible, but it's worth watching if only for the unbelievable visuals.
I agree. The Miramax version looks like a badly edited Disney renaissance mockbuster. The Recobbled Cut looks like it came from the Golden Age of Hollywood, and that's a complement on my part.

There's actually some good reasons for the Jojo's Bizarre Adventure film never coming out. Both Araki and the fanbase disliked it for multiple various reasons, and Speedwagon's absence caused more issues than him merely just being Araki's favorite character. In the manga and anime, he plays a supporting role in Part 2, and in Parts 3 through 6, the Speedwagon Foundation (a multi-million dollar business he founded between the events of Part 1 and 2) plays a reoccurring role in which it sends aid to each respective part's protagonist(s). In the film, Speedwagon just made a brief appearance at Ogre Street as a minor villain and gets killed off in that same scene. So they basically fucked themselves out of doing an adaptation of Part 2, because of Speedwagon's role - they'd have to go further against the series continuity and introduce a new character and replacement for the SPWF, or they'd have to remake the Phantom Blood film. There are other crucial side characters removed as well, such as Dire and Straights, which not only meant Johnathan's final fight with Dio is done alone (oh yeah spoiler alert the good guy fights the big bad guy at the end), but Straights reappears as a villain in Part 2, so again they've fucked themselves.
+PK Rockin Ω Some people also suspect that Studio A.P.P.P's relationship with Shueisha and Hirohiko Araki was severely strained after a controversy surrounding the Stardust Crusaders OVA (made by the same studio) which happened about a year after the Phantom Blood's theatrical release (Long story short: People found pages of the Quran in the movie, causing some fundamentalist jimmies to get rustled). This controversy meant that all shipments of JoJo were halted and that Araki would have to go back and edit some panels in the manga to avoid further offense (since JoJo is one of Shueisha's biggest franchises, this was quite a big deal). I can't say 100% if this was a major factor in the film not getting released, but I thought it might be interesting to bring up.

Their was a documentary made about the making of Kingdom of the Sun called "The Sweatbox" but good luck finding it since Disney seems to not want anyone to see it as it exposes how poorly the Director was treated during the production.
***** i actually found it...i wish i had the link thought......and i wanted to download it since i knew it was hard to find, how stupid was i not o do it....
on 1 side i want to see the movie due to what unique things they could do with the lisence, but on the other i don't due to how many things they cut out from it
Another unfinished anime that's worth mentioning is the movie Dreaming Machine. Set to be the fifth film by anime film director Satoshi Kon, Dreaming Machine was a film about three robots that go on a journey to change their lives. Not much is known about this, other than the fact that this was Kons first attempt to create a film that was more kid-friendly than his other works. When Kon was diagnosed with cancer, he spent his final months with his wife rather than working on the film until his death in 2010. Madhouse Studio, the studio that animated his previous works, tried to pick up where he left off, but reportedly the project ran out of money. It's unknown when, or if, Dreaming Machine will ever be completed.
I LOVED polar express, i was 12 years old ands my brother was 10, we had just lost our faith in believing in santa claus , but after we saw the movie in the cinemas, it made us believe for 1 more year. :) it gave us that magical christmas feeling
+Voracious T I hear a lot of stories about how people lost faith but this is the first I heard about someone whose faith in the big red jolly man had actually returned.
Mark Muhammad We are annoying, but its just the feels. We are all jaded adults now, and those feels keep us going. At least we're not those people who draw porn of kids shows. Or at least most of us aren't.
As a "90's Kid", I concur of how annoying we are. They see everything through nostalgic lenses and see everything was better than it actually was, and everything today sucks in comparison. Even though things are just as good in retrospect.
Snakes101 i remeber checking a comment section on pic divided in two. one was late 90's/ early 2000's cartoons and the other was today's cartoons. i was absolutely disgusted by the amount of fucking nostalgia there was. so many "these are real cartoons, not the shit we get today" and so on. it was really stupid.
so so happy you know about the thief and the cobbler. it's definitely an unfinished masterpiece and i have the best hopes for the brave fans willing to finish it.
Robot Dog I just heard, Craig said that it's the long awaited movie, but it's not coming til next year so it's gonna be a while, but no matter what, it's coming out.
STATUS UPDATE FOR PEOPLE WATCHING 7 YEARS LATER Operation: Aliens - The cels were just for a cancelled (and lost) commercial, rather than a pilot. The Land Before Time Uncut - Nothing new. Other commentors say European copies were uncut but I think it's bait. Chris Farley Shrek - A two minute storyboard snippet was uploaded by a Dreamworks producer. Apparently an animation test exists with the storyboard and some screenshots being leaked. Bye Bye Beavers - A fan animation project is underway, the animatic finished. ATHF Boston - Found but unpolished. You knew that though. JJBA Phantom Blood OVA - An older test animation for it appeared on eBay and was uploaded. It has Speedwagon. ImageMovers Yellow Submarine - LOTS of production material leaked. Kingdom of the Sun - Nothing new. Hey Arnold: The Jungle Movie - Officially finished with Craig Bartlet. You knew that though, but if you want to be nitpicky, not much is known about the original 2002 version. The Thief and the Cobbler - Nothing new, except the Recobbled Cut is still being perfected.
i love seeing this since this video was not only my introduction to rebeltaxi, but to lost media in general: its so nostaglic seeing things on here that have had progress/been found being introduced to me for the first time
*SPOILERS* ----------- I especially hated the forced Helga's love confession that they had to put in when it got bumped up to being a theatrical release rather than a tv movie (thanks to the success of the Rugrats Movie). It was completely the wrong time and came out of nowhere and kind of threw a wrench in Helga and Arnold's natural progression towards pairing
***** im think i remember seeing a legit sketch of helga and arnold having a heart to heart while lost in the jungle.which i think would have been a better confession scene. shoot for all we know, if they HAD made the movie, it would have given us the patakis, (another series they decided to scrap -_-)
trina thomas one can only dream now I also felt that the confession to Arnold was a bit force it wasn't like the idea for the movie wasn't bad I would have Peter the proper closing for the series
rabbitmaskedman Saw it some time ago. Quite brilliant, animation was insane, and the optical illusion scenes within the castle were priceless. Really hope it gets finished, but NEVER remade. Like Yellow Submarine, this is a treasure that should not be bastardized in any way
Norb: "say goodbye Daggy" Dag: "Good bye Daggy" My heart. I would have so loved to have seen a hey Arnold movie where he found his parents instead of just some movie about him saving his town or whatever.
+Beast Craft +Somickick210reborn some fan found the audio clip and sent it to Pan. Pan then uploaded the audio himself, but he added nothing relating to himself releasing it since he was afraid of Dreamworks finding out about it
This was weeks ago, I took my time to watch it, and I like it for its themes Honestly, I wish I can go to fandom, but I rather not join other fandoms because it will end up losing my interests for liking my current fandom But still, can you at least respect someone's opinions SU fandom, what I mean is if someone watches the show and actually give reasonable reasons for not liking the show, please respect them, because not everyone is going to like it Also, I didn't know RebelTaxi replied to my comment, thanks "Wut" -Pan Pizza 2k16
The Thief and the Cobbler is a seriously underrated film. One of my favorite animated pieces as a child because the style was unique as well as the execution, even if it apparently was outsourced to cheaper animators. I can't imagine what the creator wanted for it, that's pretty intense.
How could he not know Disney, that uncultured swine. Disney is home to the most classic animations, like Naruto and South Park and the ever notorious 2 Girls 1 Cup. This is disgusting. This man should be locked away for ages and learn real literature.
After watching The Persistence of Vision, I couldn't finish watching the rocobbled cut of The Thief and the Cobbler because I was on the verge of tears. If only he had 6 more months...
I was about the suggest that next, there is a lot to work with as there is only one animation that's a bit sloppy about dib giving up to be an invader and zim going into a slump/state of depression without dib foiling his plans. There are many voice and sound samples for the episodes and episode descriptions.
I already mentioned it on my comment for the top 10 animated bands, but Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins attempted to start an animated band called Glass and the Machines of God to tie in the release of Machina/The Machines of God, unfortunately the album was a commercial failure and the project was shelved. Fortunately a three episode rough cut of the cartoon was released on RUclips.
they cancelled the croods 2,an Untitled animated smurfs movie that was made by nickelodeon movies, motion capture animated nutcracker a motion capture animated Roger rabbit, calling all robots, and Untitled sony pictures Animation movie about aliens (not the franchise),chickenhare
Helloy Pan (and friends). First of all, Xenomorph kicking should be a freaking national sport. Second, I have an important announcement. I first learned about Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt through your channel and I loved it. But sadly it has been 5 years since it first aired and there does not seem to be ant hint at season 2 in the near future. But some guys decided that they wanted to continue the series as a webcomic. (I am not affiliated to them, but wanted to spread the word.) So if you want to support it in any way, I will leave their patreon here www.patreon.com/PSG
Mago. D Snowman or they could have not done it because you guys don't seem to understand that the people who made PSG is Gainax....and if you've seen their other works you would know that if they say they'll do a season 2 they wont do a season 2 why? because it's gainax. I understand their efforts and I appreciate it but it wont be the same, not because it'll be a comic, but because it wont be made by gainax and they are pretty much the only one group of people that can capture what PSG was. You must understand gainax always make their shows with aggravating, or bad, endings just look at fooley cooley a six episode anime that SO MANY people love, made by gainax, look at gurren lagaan again same situation.
DarkZero232 Oh trust me, I know Gainax and their asshole endings. I watched FCLC, PSG, Evangelion, Gurren, etc. Imaishi is my favorite anime director and PSG is my favorite anime of all time. And I just NEED more of it. A PSG continuation was talked about (and they even said stuff like skipping season 2 and going straight for season 3) but sadly a bunch of stuff happened and Imaishi and his team left to create Trigger in 2011. I know that it is not the team that created the original series but I do have faith that they are going to capture the essence of the first one and they are going to make it work.
Mago. D Snowman well first of all no you don't NEED more PSG you just have a very large deal of wanting more of it. Also skipping a whole season is just a bad idea, no matter what show you make. Either way I'm still going to refuse watching kill la kill and why people think it'll be the anime that will save the anime industry just makes me want to shoot myself.
Oh man, the fact that Hey Arnold never got the film it truly deserved is VERY sad. I may not be an actual fan of the show, but it must be heart-breaking for any huge fan of the show to hear this news and just knowing one of their favorite shows never got it's true film, I'm sorry Hey Arnold fans:, (
The 'Recobbled cut' of the Thief and the Cobbler is on youtube. I sat down and watched it one day. And it makes me sad that the movie never got to be done properly.
I loved The Polar Express and didn't mind motion capture animation, but remaking Yellow Submarine in that style would have fallen way too far into Uncanny Valley territory. The pictures that were released are disturbing at best. It's best that the movie stays dead.
Someone's GOT to animate the Bye Bye Beavers episode, that would be neat to see. ^_^ But at least we got the audio. Same with the unreleased Invader Zim episodes.
The Black Cauldron. Everyone deserves to see that uncensored. It was considered some of Disney's best in years and would have been if the public saw it. It was just as high quality as works like The Lion King and so on from the later part of that century. There was just no comparison right there. Also, would have loved that Shrek much more than the one that I now think is okay in comparison. I would have loved to see how that version of the film looked and, knowing eighty percent of it is done, we will probably see it someday. In the past half-decade, people have been finding tons of lost things lately, so I have high hopes. One notable one I can think of right now is that the full episode of "Boston" was recently found not that long ago.
you know, i understand why Richard Williams will NOT talk about the Thief and the Cobbler, no matter how much he is prompted to, but i really wish i knew his opinion of the Recobbled Cut. i wonder if he's at all moved that people who knew and loved his work took the time to compile the film into what it was supposed to be, and if he gets some sense of closure from that.
TheLastHylianTitan I think metion once that he liked it....it think. Also, he's gone back to talking about the film again: blogs.indiewire.com/animationscoop/richard-williams-to-screen-his-directors-cut-of-the-thief-and-the-cobbler-dec-10th
The 90's was the greatest time man has ever known. Everything good that has ever existed came from the golden age of the 1990's. The air was cleaner, the food was sweeter, the very ground we walked on shimmered with pride. There was no evil in the world, no famine or disease. Peace, happiness, and freedom was known worldwide. I weep a tear for every child that will never know the glory that was God's chosen decade.
pizza87760 I was watching documentaries about each decade and everything was cool and they get to the 90's and I'm like oh yeah this is my time! And all they talked about was the tragedies, terrorists, and scandals. ):
pizza87760 I know this is a month old now, but seriously? You got five fuckin' people this dense to reply to you? Even when this blatant, is sarcasm really this hard to detect?
I remember when I was little I was at my cousins house and he showed me a very weird movie but I remember being so drawn in by the art. Years later I watched THIS video and the memories came FLOODING back THIEF AND THE COBBLER that's the movie I had watched as a kid! but now that I know what happened to the movie I really wish the original vision for the movie was finished. The visuals are sheer eye candy and the cobbler is so cute.
i'd like to see a large fan demand for the phantom blood film to be released again, it looks really good and well-animated, heck, it looks better than the 2012 anime.
***** There is a certain limit of weird and strange one can afford to showcase even on RUclips. The majority don't go after such things, even on the internet. They sometimes wander in accidentally, but few stay.
At least the Thief and the Cobbler was about 70% percent done. Still I can't really forgive Miramax for tarnishing would should have been a ground breaking animated film
I remember when "Ed, Edd, n Eddy" was about to start airing, there was a promo where the Eds were getting chased by a big scary dog and Sarah, but that never happened in any of the episodes. The animation looked cruder than the first episode that aired, so it may have been a pilot episode that was never released.
Bro Steven universe is great I though it was a dumb show with the promotions it had but I heard it got more serious half way through the season so I gave it a shot and man shit got real and emotional
+xXCeraiceXx You don't mistake a shoe for a bomb, you mistake a bomb for a shoe, numbskull. And you do that because it's an everyday object people just have on them. Lite-brights aren't an item people just have on them, nor are they inconspicuous. It boils down to people being jumpy, nervous, and overly-scared, like they've always been post-9/11. PS the TSA doesn't actually do shit, either.

I know :(

polar express wasn't that bad, but Mars Needs Moms was just creepy.
I used to think The Adventures of Tintin (Which I feel lives up to its name) was made by Image Movers.
FeFishChannel polar express was underated...
I say the same thing too and also RebelTaxi BOO on you for saying The Polar Express is bad.
No, Polar Express was definitely creepier. After all, the technology wasn't as refined in 2004.
i am biased towards the polar express simply due it being family tradition to watch this during christmas.
why would ANYONE want a Jojo movie if it didn't have Speedwagon?
Studio A.P.P.P made him withdraw coolly.
Even Speedwagon was disappointed.
Which led to the David Production bonanza we have today.

Their was a documentary made about the making of Kingdom of the Sun called "The Sweatbox" but good luck finding it since Disney seems to not want anyone to see it as it exposes how poorly the Director was treated during the production.
Yup
***** i actually found it...i wish i had the link thought......and i wanted to download it since i knew it was hard to find, how stupid was i not o do it....
GOOMY MASTER ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I recommend finding the documentary, then youll know the full story.

Aww.
+Voracious T I hear a lot of stories about how people lost faith but this is the first I heard about someone whose faith in the big red jolly man had actually returned.
Santa Claus is real, but he died.
***** Well he was technically a stranger who would stalk children, sneak inside there houses at night and leave them candy/presents...
+Zac Doran ...
Thank you for calling out 90's kids on being more annoying than little kids and frozen
Mark Muhammad
We are annoying, but its just the feels. We are all jaded adults now, and those feels keep us going. At least we're not those people who draw porn of kids shows. Or at least most of us aren't.
Maria White Yes because no body who had ever watched Frozen has EVER made porn from it
As a "90's Kid", I concur of how annoying we are.
80's kids are worse.
"He-Man is the greatest cartoon ever! All other cartoons are lame!"
My hopes will never die for Jungle Movie.
+Gabriela Ferreira (Crimsonoid) Your profile pic kind of fits.
Gordonkris It fits everything
It's happening
Well you only need to live little bit longer than. It is been confirmed as a tv special.
Oh god dammit
In Mexico the uncut version of The Land Before Time is the one that´s broadcasted in TV
Really, man I wish universal or Don bluth release the uncut version
so so happy you know about the thief and the cobbler. it's definitely an unfinished masterpiece and i have the best hopes for the brave fans willing to finish it.
Check yourself before you shrek yourself.
Hi Goten :3
Heyo
Say guess what, Hey Arnold the Jungle Movie has been confirmed.
+E-DawG Shax (Eddie Sanchez) Really ? When ?
4 months ago maybe, i don't know nickelodeon announced it months ago, they're probably working on it right now.
Ok, thank you, it's good to know !
what!? *switches to google search* yo what do i type in! :D
Robot Dog I just heard, Craig said that it's the long awaited movie, but it's not coming til next year so it's gonna be a while, but no matter what, it's coming out.
STATUS UPDATE FOR PEOPLE WATCHING 7 YEARS LATER
Operation: Aliens - The cels were just for a cancelled (and lost) commercial, rather than a pilot.
The Thief and the Cobbler - Nothing new, except the Recobbled Cut is still being perfected.
i love seeing this since this video was not only my introduction to rebeltaxi, but to lost media in general: its so nostaglic seeing things on here that have had progress/been found being introduced to me for the first time
@@tokucore4524 i'm just surprised this went through the comment filters
Kingdom of the Sun had a whole documentary released about it called Sweatbox, so thats sorta something
@@tokucore4524 roreth
Woah, don't know why they've omitted the best Jojo character, Speedwagon in the final version but at least this version has the boy
I watched that Hey Arnold movie last year. Man, what a disappointment that must of been seeing that in theaters...
I agree, I feel like Nickelodeon forced them to pander so they could "make money" or something.
That movie did blow. But admit it, we all loved the bus game based on the movie on Nick.com.
The thief and the cobbler main characters don't talk right? Like reaction channels?
wut
RebelTaxi In the recobbled version of the thief and the cobbler the characters don't speak. Reaction channels show people who don't talk.
+Mental Geek13 ...
+Mental Geek13 W
+Mental Geek13 ...what do reaction channels have to do with this?
I saw the Recobbled cut. SO FUCKING GOOD.
I already knew about it thanks to the Nostalgia Critic
Same/
rabbitmaskedman Saw it some time ago. Quite brilliant, animation was insane, and the optical illusion scenes within the castle were priceless. Really hope it gets finished, but NEVER remade. Like Yellow Submarine, this is a treasure that should not be bastardized in any way
same
rabbitmaskedman Yeah:D Fuck them for trying to turn it into some Disney musical shit.
Hello, yesterday 25th of November 2023 the Chris farley shrek teaser was found.
Norb: "say goodbye Daggy" Dag: "Good bye Daggy" My heart.
I would have so loved to have seen a hey Arnold movie where he found his parents instead of just some movie about him saving his town or whatever.
Yo. Farley Audio has been released..
Where?
+Beast Craft +Somickick210reborn some fan found the audio clip and sent it to Pan. Pan then uploaded the audio himself, but he added nothing relating to himself releasing it since he was afraid of Dreamworks finding out about it

To be fair, Phantom Blood is the name of the first arc of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, so you basically have it if you just watch the anime's first arc
THANK YOU FOR HAVING THEIF AND THE COBBLER #1
I don't watch Steven Universe
*gets hate*

You're insane.
dont listen to them,pan
As a fan of SU, I respect your decision and hope we can come to a mutual understanding... AFTER YOU WATCH THE SHOW YOU PLEB
This was weeks ago, I took my time to watch it, and I like it for its themes
Honestly, I wish I can go to fandom, but I rather not join other fandoms because it will end up losing my interests for liking my current fandom
But still, can you at least respect someone's opinions SU fandom, what I mean is if someone watches the show and actually give reasonable reasons for not liking the show, please respect them, because not everyone is going to like it
Also, I didn't know RebelTaxi replied to my comment, thanks
"Wut" -Pan Pizza 2k16
I only came here cause waifu shrek was on the thumb nails
The Thief and the Cobbler is a seriously underrated film. One of my favorite animated pieces as a child because the style was unique as well as the execution, even if it apparently was outsourced to cheaper animators. I can't imagine what the creator wanted for it, that's pretty intense.
the footage of Chris Farley shrek is released
where?
The Cardinal Virtues Studios on youtube of course

Pan Pizza is the hipster of 90s cartoons hipsters.
Honestly though, while Cartoon Network and(in my opinion) Disney are much better than they were in the 90s, Nick is a load of smelly garbage now
sladikk The garbage is not that stinky!
TheAutobotPower breadwinners
sladikk Dude, the comment was in pro of garbage, not nickelodeon.

Uh, Universal was responsible for the 'Land Before Time' series. NOT DISNEY!
I'm an idiot
RebelTaxi
That was bad and you should feel bad... =-=
How could he not know Disney, that uncultured swine. Disney is home to the most classic animations, like Naruto and South Park and the ever notorious 2 Girls 1 Cup. This is disgusting. This man should be locked away for ages and learn real literature.
RebelTaxi ruclips.net/video/OGp9P6QvMjY/видео.html
RebelTaxi Good job Pan, now you're gonna get fired from being the host and Emily's gonna take over.
Oh man, I'd heard about that Yellow Submarine remake and was curious about it. But now looking at that concept art THANK GOD it was cancelled. Ugh
CrazyPangolinLady And people say the original one was kind of creepy and disturbing.
Well now wait a minute, Polar Express was good.
1:50 Can we just appreciate that smooth transition?
After watching The Persistence of Vision, I couldn't finish watching the rocobbled cut of The Thief and the Cobbler because I was on the verge of tears. If only he had 6 more months...
Any of the unfinished Invader Zim episodes maybe? Like 'The Trial' or 'Ten Minutes to Doom'. No? Okay...
I was about the suggest that next, there is a lot to work with as there is only one animation that's a bit sloppy about dib giving up to be an invader and zim going into a slump/state of depression without dib foiling his plans. There are many voice and sound samples for the episodes and episode descriptions.
A lot of concept art is available to look at of the unfinished episodes, it just takes some digging.
InsanelyADD He mentioned that it's one list in many.
If it's not on this list it will be on A list.
Oda Swifteye I am aware, he said to suggest some; so I did.
InsanelyADD
Right. You just made it sound like it should have been on this list.
I mean surely. There's no doubt he will get around to it.
I kinda wanted to see a Yellow Submarine remake. It would be interesting
ThisIs ReadyMade hell ya
Not interested
Speaking of remakes, I want to see a remake of the film Used Cars.
same. after actually becoming a fan of the beatles, im kinda sad the 3D movie didnt get made.
Greetings from the future, The Croods 2 has been uncancelled.
And it's called the croods a new awakening
Little did they know, they indeed made the Hey Arnold Jungle Movie.
(I am not affiliated to them, but wanted to spread the word.)
So if you want to support it in any way, I will leave their patreon here www.patreon.com/PSG
Always wondered what happened with Psg pretty cool that people are keeping alive.
It is!
It is a small group of people, so any form of help is appreciated. Specially spreading the word through the interwebs
I may not be an actual fan of the show, but it must be heart-breaking for any huge fan of the show to hear this news and just knowing one of their favorite shows never got it's true film, I'm sorry Hey Arnold fans:, (
WreckitFinntheSonic Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey,
we can only hope?
thanks I appreciate that as a hey Arnold fan I was certainly pissed at it being cancelled
Yes, I'm not the only one who knows the Thief and the Cobbler!
I know it as well and I'm into finishing the project with everyone.
Nostalgia Critic talked about it before Pan did.
Upon 549th viewing, I can confirm Pan says “Ogre-riginally” at the beginning of the Shrek segment
i would love to travel to an alternate universe where thief and the cobbler was actually completed and watch the damn thing
I think I'd join in on that.
Well at least there is the Recobbled cut
It was we even have a recobelled cut
The 'Recobbled cut' of the Thief and the Cobbler is on youtube. I sat down and watched it one day. And it makes me sad that the movie never got to be done properly.
Damn, man, the whole #1 segment is some of your best editing ever.
Here from the future, a ton of work from the Chris Farley cut has been dug up as of late
the song they played in the jojo trailer when jonathan screams DIO is Polnareff's anger. When Rebel Taxi speaks it plays Escape from DIO
I loved The Polar Express and didn't mind motion capture animation, but remaking Yellow Submarine in that style would have fallen way too far into Uncanny Valley territory. The pictures that were released are disturbing at best. It's best that the movie stays dead.
It's still cool to think. I like that movie and I'd like to see what other people could do with the style.
Someone's GOT to animate the Bye Bye Beavers episode, that would be neat to see. ^_^
But at least we got the audio. Same with the unreleased Invader Zim episodes.
I heard about that one not too long ago. Nick is also still talking about making that Hey Arnold movie, and the creator's working with them again.
***** we must finish what was started!
**Insert "The Jungle Movie came out in 2017" comment here**
Man I would've loved to have seen that Phantom Blood movie
Considering they're rebooting Shrek now ...it might happen.
That transition you made from talking about Land Before Time to Shrek was smooth.
you know, i understand why Richard Williams will NOT talk about the Thief and the Cobbler, no matter how much he is prompted to, but i really wish i knew his opinion of the Recobbled Cut. i wonder if he's at all moved that people who knew and loved his work took the time to compile the film into what it was supposed to be, and if he gets some sense of closure from that.
TheLastHylianTitan I think metion once that he liked it....it think.
Also, he's gone back to talking about the film again:

The 90's was the greatest time man has ever known. Everything good that has ever existed came from the golden age of the 1990's. The air was cleaner, the food was sweeter, the very ground we walked on shimmered with pride. There was no evil in the world, no famine or disease. Peace, happiness, and freedom was known worldwide. I weep a tear for every child that will never know the glory that was God's chosen decade.
pizza87760 no thats a lie tere was pain back then as well
Oklahoma City Bombing. I guess you were talking about your childhood
pizza87760 I was watching documentaries about each decade and everything was cool and they get to the 90's and I'm like oh yeah this is my time! And all they talked about was the tragedies, terrorists, and scandals. ):
pizza87760 Damn, your world sounds like alot of fun. What keeps you in it? Shrooms? Or just sheer stubborness and delusional thinking?
pizza87760 I know this is a month old now, but seriously? You got five fuckin' people this dense to reply to you? Even when this blatant, is sarcasm really this hard to detect?
This was the first time I learned about JoJo and I've never been the same since
i think this might have been my first video ive seen from pan and its so interesting looking back on it today!! love ur saber pfp btw!!
the thief and the cobbler is genuinely gorgeous. it really, really sucks how things ended up.
How does this guy not have more subscribers!?
This world only likes quantity not quality, that's why pewdiepie has so many subscribers.
***** Because the world doesn't work like that (also, he leaks alot of cartoon porn in his videos).
K0ragg You'd think that'd net him a lot MORE.

5:05 ... Wait that sounds familiar
*Clicks back*
JOJO?! I did not expect that.
Bro Steven universe is great
I though it was a dumb show with the promotions it had but I heard it got more serious half way through the season so I gave it a shot and man shit got real and emotional
4Reaper45 Damn straight! Steven Universe is the bee's knees.
Probably because it was written by Rebecca sugar, who wrote for Adventure time back then
4Reaper45 I thought the promotions were great! When he mentioned that thing about his mom I knew we were in for a feels trip. O:
