Fifa's User Interface is way better than PES and it's servers are way better. Which means better gamemodes and fun with friends. It take me about 10 mins to find a match on PES while on fifa it only takes 10 secs

I haven't played pes 2019 yet but I've played pretty much every pes, going back to the ps2 days and that has never happened once, the goalkeepers are actually way better in pes and less prone to making mistakes that could cost you a game. Fifa doesn't have better gameplay and realism. The tactical settings in pes are better, the ai in pes is also better, its a lot harder to get the defence out of position over and over again and play easy through balls like in fifa. This tactics system in fifa 19 was pretty much stolen from pes. And speedy players are still op, short players win headers against taller defenders. There's no precision positioning system like in pes, in pes if im playing a long pass I'd simply hold r2 while ball is still on its way to my teammate and he'll readjust to the best position and hold his ground while in fifa I'd have to move him around manually and could end up messing up my positioning. This is just one of many examples. You wanna talk about realism? How about telling fifa to fix the goalkeepers and defensive ai in the game.
Let's face it, yearly games do lot include many updates. Both games are extremely similar to the previous one. Only real difference I can see is..... Pes finally has better grass. If you preferred one of these titles last year, you'll prefer the same one this year. Personally I prefer gameplay of pes. But the presentation (full names/ commentary /leagues) I prefer fifa. Overall.... Pes. But all my mates play fifa, so when they come round occasionally, that goes on. Both are good games. But personally I'd rather see games made every two years. Massive updates on everything. Then the year the game doesn't come out. Charge 10 quid and pay for a update dlc. Teams kits player etc. But still the same game. Simple.
I'd prefer player's movements and motion in Pes to Fifa. Fifa looks a bit stiff and unrealistic. But the biggest problem is license issue. It made Pes lose the game.

The only thing you need to know before you buy is that PES is again better in every aspect of gameplay. If you are a childish person who likes collecting and trading cards then you can of course go and buy FIFA.

Fifa dynamic tactics... looks suspiciously like current PES tactics abilities. I laugh as both games do tend to steal each others innovations. You can also add in up to 3 other leagues of your choice...you can't do that in Fifa. There will already be lots of new licensed leagues this year on top of the usual ones. The deal with Chumpions League ran out which personally I couldn't care less about and don't think many others bothered about it that much.... but I hear ya ...would be nice for both games to have access to all licenses however like the chumpions league... it's all about the money.
Yeah, I know. I have never had problems with downloading option files and patching my game. Unfortunately, millions more don't know about them or can't be arsed to apply them. That's what I think, to a large extent, kills Konami's fanbase.
I have been playing FIFA since FIFA 12 and never have tried PES .. But been playing PES 2018 lately, I can clearly say PES is a much better balanced game than FIFA 18.. You really need to invest yourself in the game to win and if you do, you'll always win (if you got what it takes ) .. unlike FIFA where at times you can really feel the game not letting you do your best..

I've been playing PES every year since 2008, and FIFA since 2012. Both of them have their pros and cons, but I personally don't like the gameplay in PES mainly because of the animations that more often than not slow down the gameplay and that is really frustrating. But I keep playing it because of nostalgia, and it is still very fun, but in my personal and honest opinion, FIFA is still the better game even if you disregard the licenses, and I enjoy it much more than PES. It's EA. The demos always have a bunch of advertisement screens with new features and the option to preorder the game ready for you before you can even enter the main menu. They primarily market their games through a list of features and not actual gameplay.
I can't understand why people say that... I played PES recently and almost died with these animations, if that does not look robotic I do not understand anything. The ball does what it wants when making a pass or a shot, without respecting the physics in the slightest. EA likes to hide their games for as long as possible. The demo in mid september will probably be the first time when we get any decent gameplay of FIFA 19. Phone recorded footage from E3 or other events always looks the same.

Man i wish pes had the licencing like fifa, that's all that's holding it back. The gameplay is better, the ai is way better especially in defense. In fifa its always so easy for defenders to get out of position and give up an easy through ball. Even the tactical settings are a lot better on pes, rather than mess around with a bunch of sliders that could end up creating some weakness in the team, i can choose what playing style I want, adjust my defensive line, compactness, area to focus my defense and attack, either thru the middle or thru the wing etc all with one click and that combined with the advanced instruction section creates a really dynamic and interesting tactical system for you to use. I really hope pes gets their act together and acquire more licences.
After playing quite a bit of the PES demo, I'm really not buying into any improved player motion or specific player personalities. The skill moves look exactly the same as last year, no idea what they're talking about there either. The game is definitely a step up in terms of graphics, but honestly the game play feels identical to last year, only they've finally been able to add more fouls. That said, I'm still seeing very few cards shown, and to my knowledge the referees still don't play the advantage in PES, which is a bummer. I'll be playing the FIFA demo thoroughly and then hopefully I can pick just one game this year, as I usually end up buying both.
I like the review for PES , what you said about the realism and stimulation Konami want to achieve. That's what a real Football player knows how Pes movement is far better than Ping Pong ball FIFA arcade gameplay. FIFA has the presentation and license but they do not want to improve in gameplay they want to go for eSports.

PES is definitely a better game in terms of gameplay. If it was as big in the pro scene as FIFA it would be much better, since you actually have to aim passes and such, instead of just tapping a button to get it to your target easily. If PES had better licensing, FIFA wouldn’t stand a chance.

a lot in this video is ok. But some information was wrong. The swedish league is allsvenksan not Raiffeisen super league. And quick subs are in fifa since fifa 18 not fifa 17. Also it wasn't mentioned that the quick sub in pes is better than in fifa (you can choose from the bench and then anyone from the pitch)
Played both games for years and imo Gameplay - Pes >>>>>>> Fifa Pes is a realistic representation of football, a simulation. Way more tactical depth. Thinking man's game. Fifa is more of a pick up and play arcade style. All about personal preference really though and what you want out of the game. Graphics - Pes has way better player faces and the new lighting is great. Fifa has more licenses so the attention to detail is greater, advertising, pitch side etc. Online - Fifa is better as it's at least playable. Pes suffers from lag and button delay. Ultimate team > Myclub Offline - Pes is perfect offline. If only the responsiveness of the controls transferred as well online. :( Ai is smarter than fifa too and more human like. Fifa Ai feels very robotic and boring to play against in comparison.

Shame about the option file issues on Xbox One, luckily I have a PS4 so that doesn't effect me but I think thats possibly the only legitimate argument for anyone buying Fifa over PES.
-PES is more realistic player and have very good animation, but gameplay is almost too perfect and not logic, like passing, crossing, through pass, always find their target -FIFA have more realistic gameplay, where you must get the timing right whenever u pass, cross, shot, receive the ball, 50 - 50 challenge on air, etc.. The graphic is decent at most
the dynamic tactics have been in fifa before they just took it out in fifa 18 or fifa 17 because it wasnt doing anything for the gameplay. also the shooting thing will not be good because past fifas the shooting has been very bad rections even if the player have 99 reaction he will always try to take a touch even if you pressed the shoot botton 10years ago
Yes, It's called MyClub, the chances of you getting a good or bad player is shown by percentages unlike FUT, which isn't just RNG, it's worse it cheats. MyClub can use ANY players and ANY managers, but each manager have specific formation and tactics that's fixed to it. So choose your manager wisely first. Instead of chemistry we have Team Spirit. The more you play, the more that player is comfortable in that position and the better the whole team plays.. Players may seem to have lower rating that even though they are highly rated. This is purposely done so that noobs won't exploit them. But the ratings can be leveled up!! Players like 70+ can level up more than players who have reached 85+. One thing I hate about MyClub is because of the lack of official license... You see you can mod or patch leagues in Master League or single player, but when online games like Online Division, you can only use EXISTING players and teams. BUTBUTBUT Bundesliga is the only major league that's not there, and Liga MX if you fancy that. But it's just about it, you are NOT missing anymore players just that they don't have real team names(but correct player names) Those teams that existed can be patched and used online!! Team name and their kits, we used to edit stadiums but not anymore, hopefully PES 2019 we can do it... You can patch faces, realistic camera, maybe commentator?? I can't understand why people say that... I played PES recently and almost died with these animations, if that does not look robotic I do not understand anything. The ball does what it wants when making a pass or a shot, without respecting the physics in the slightest. Yes, PES was better in its day, but today we have to swallow nostalgia and admit that FIFA won that position and by far.

EA likes to hide their games for as long as possible. The demo in mid september will probably be the first time when we get any decent gameplay of FIFA 19. Phone recorded footage from E3 or other events always looks the same.

PES game-play always better than FIFA but FIFA has the licenses n FUT always a great option in FIFA.
The super league is Denmark not Sweden. The Swedish league is called Allsvenskan.

Man i wish pes had the licencing like fifa, that's all that's holding it back. The gameplay is better, the ai is way better especially in defense. In fifa its always so easy for defenders to get out of position and give up an easy through ball. Even the tactical settings are a lot better on pes, rather than mess around with a bunch of sliders that could end up creating some weakness in the team, i can choose what playing style I want, adjust my defensive line, compactness, area to focus my defense and attack, either thru the middle or thru the wing etc all with one click and that combined with the advanced instruction section creates a really dynamic and interesting tactical system for you to use.
I really hope pes gets their act together and acquire more licences.
Wonder if FIFA will ever wipe the dust off of pro clubs and actually work on it? So much potential and it's left year after year

After playing quite a bit of the PES demo, I'm really not buying into any improved player motion or specific player personalities. The skill moves look exactly the same as last year, no idea what they're talking about there either. The game is definitely a step up in terms of graphics, but honestly the game play feels identical to last year, only they've finally been able to add more fouls. That said, I'm still seeing very few cards shown, and to my knowledge the referees still don't play the advantage in PES, which is a bummer.
I'll be playing the FIFA demo thoroughly and then hopefully I can pick just one game this year, as I usually end up buying both.

the visual enhancements will be for all current gen consoles. that is why PES 2019 will not be on the xbox360 and ps3.

People buy Fifa every year because there’re new players ratings and transfers every year and because of the few improvements (The improvements for Fifa are going to make the game far more realistic and that’s what a lot of people want)

MV 33 FIFA don't really make massive changes, yes there's transfers but gameplay will be the same with a few tweaks here and there, nothing drastic. Pes gameplay is better than Fifa

PES is improving gameplay every year while FIFA is just adding external features and feels the same as it did in 2015 or even 2011. I see PES way ahead of FIFA in following years

PES is definitely a better game in terms of gameplay. If it was as big in the pro scene as FIFA it would be much better, since you actually have to aim passes and such, instead of just tapping a button to get it to your target easily. If PES had better licensing, FIFA wouldn’t stand a chance.

But some information was wrong. The swedish league is allsvenksan not Raiffeisen super league. And quick subs are in fifa since fifa 18 not fifa 17. Also it wasn't mentioned that the quick sub in pes is better than in fifa (you can choose from the bench and then anyone from the pitch)

Gameplay - Pes >>>>>>> Fifa Pes is a realistic representation of football, a simulation. Way more tactical depth. Thinking man's game. Fifa is more of a pick up and play arcade style. All about personal preference really though and what you want out of the game.
Graphics - Pes has way better player faces and the new lighting is great. Fifa has more licenses so the attention to detail is greater, advertising, pitch side etc.
Online - Fifa is better as it's at least playable. Pes suffers from lag and button delay. Ultimate team > Myclub
Offline - Pes is perfect offline. If only the responsiveness of the controls transferred as well online. :( Ai is smarter than fifa too and more human like. Fifa Ai feels very robotic and boring to play against in comparison.

Shame about the option file issues on Xbox One, luckily I have a PS4 so that doesn't effect me but I think thats possibly the only legitimate argument for anyone buying Fifa over PES.
-PES is more realistic player and have very good animation, but gameplay is almost too perfect and not logic, like passing, crossing, through pass, always find their target
-FIFA have more realistic gameplay, where you must get the timing right whenever u pass, cross, shot, receive the ball, 50 - 50 challenge on air, etc.. The graphic is decent at most

the dynamic tactics have been in fifa before they just took it out in fifa 18 or fifa 17 because it wasnt doing anything for the gameplay. also the shooting thing will not be good because past fifas the shooting has been very bad rections even if the player have 99 reaction he will always try to take a touch even if you pressed the shoot botton 10years ago

Yes, It's called MyClub, the chances of you getting a good or bad player is shown by percentages unlike FUT, which isn't just RNG, it's worse it cheats.
MyClub can use ANY players and ANY managers, but each manager have specific formation and tactics that's fixed to it. So choose your manager wisely first.
Instead of chemistry we have Team Spirit. The more you play, the more that player is comfortable in that position and the better the whole team plays..
Players may seem to have lower rating that even though they are highly rated. This is purposely done so that noobs won't exploit them. But the ratings can be leveled up!! Players like 70+ can level up more than players who have reached 85+.
One thing I hate about MyClub is because of the lack of official license... You see you can mod or patch leagues in Master League or single player, but when online games like Online Division, you can only use EXISTING players and teams. BUTBUTBUT Bundesliga is the only major league that's not there, and Liga MX if you fancy that. But it's just about it, you are NOT missing anymore players just that they don't have real team names(but correct player names)
Those teams that existed can be patched and used online!! Team name and their kits, we used to edit stadiums but not anymore, hopefully PES 2019 we can do it... You can patch faces, realistic camera, maybe commentator?? (not sure)

Pes 2019 has better graphics and feels real. For me Pes has been a game I can only play for 2 hours from there it becomes boring whereas fifa and it unrealism I can play for hours and enjoy
