She is super talented. She wrote it about her father and grandfather. She is absolutely IMO the most talented singer/songwriter in country music. I’ve seen her 5 times in concert and she’s amazing.
This woman is so authentic in her music. I believe she wrote this song about her dad. She captivates you with her guitar playing and her winding melodic vocals. She can also show her crazy side with her song writing .
She showcased one of her newer songs on TikTok recently, I think it was called "Baby Sister"...and let me tell you I sobbed!! This woman has more talent in her pink toe than most people have in their entire life! It is not on RUclips yet, but boy when it does ya'll REALLY need to react to it.
So happy to see Ashley back on the channel! Next - Lainey Wilson - Wildflowers and Wild Horses! Lainey is blowing up Country and bringing country back!
The first songs you mentioned were sung my Miranda Lambert and the one was Kerosene and the other was Gun Powder and Lead. Ashley is new to the main stream media. A couple of her bigger songs that I would recommend are Light on in the Kitchen and Martha Divine. But great reaction...
A testament to the beauty of a her song writing was just seeing how mesmerized you both were while listening. I’m the same way every time I listen to this. Love this song. You should do her live Grand Ole Opry performance of Girl Going Nowhere. She tells the story of what she was told about her dreams in high school. It’s moving the way this was, just her on an acoustic guitar. Ashley is an amazing singer writer. ♥️
Thanks for reacting to this, I just saw her in Detroit this past Friday. She sounds better live than the recording. My favorite version of this is when she was brought onto stage to sing this with Eric Church. He introduced her as "A whiskey drinking bada#*". If you want to hear her voice live, go to her video where she performed on the Grand Ole Opry "Girl going nowhere", I still get goose bumps from listening to it, and at the concert the croud went nuts for it. I put her high up on my favorite artists because 1. she writes most of her songs 2. plays an instrument 3. sounds great live
Great reaction! This is one of my favorite songs of hers. I'll echo what others have said and say that you should do "Girl Going Nowhere" from Ashely McBryde's Opry debut.
Have to listen to “Gospel Night At The Strip Club”. Acoustic version, then listen to her song “Bonfire At Tina’s” original video. I believe the songs you were referring to were Miranda Lambert’s “Gunpowder & Lead”.
Always good to have more Ashley in the mix! This one is always bittersweet for me. A lot of the specifics don’t apply to my dad but the feeling does for sure. Also it feels like, given the nature of your channel you have to do her song “Whiskey and Country Music”
Great choice! Ashley usually is feisty. She was the one in the hardware store buying the shovel and rope and going after her daddy's lover lol. Now that you've heard this song, you should check out the live version. She is a wonderful storyteller and there's another verse that was cut for the album.
This song is just beautiful. It's so mellow, and yes, Dustin, melancholy, but somehow it makes me happy every time I hear it. You guys need to check out her tune "Southern Babylon". It's kinda ghost story-ish.
Theres a really good live version of this on youtube labeled “Live in London” looks like a fan cam recording but its got really good sound and she tells the story behind her writing the song before singing it.
I'm a huge fan of you guys, love your reactions and your interaction with each other! You both seem like very solid, stand up guys. This song grabbed my heart from the first time I heard it. She describes how her dad had told her she was never supposed to touch that guitar when she was small, so she went home one day years later, he wasn't home, so she got it out. She said, "I was gonna write a song to spite him, but it wound up being about him." I love her spirit! And I'll agree, Girl Goin Nowhere, sung at the Grand Ole Opry is an absolute must!
Thank you Joana for this awesome song. For me it’s more my grandpa that the story reminds me off. Really great song and very good reaction. I think you guys were thinking about Miranda Lambert in the beginning.
You all should listen to "Porch Light" - Josh Melony, I think you guys will appreciate his music and voice, keep up the amazing work you two, love watching your channel.
I really love this song. It was simple and beautiful and had a hard-hitting message. I will say kerosene is actually by Miranda Lambert so I think you were confusing them because of the title of the song
That lady may end up single handedly saving country music
She is super talented. She wrote it about her father and grandfather. She is absolutely IMO the most talented singer/songwriter in country music. I’ve seen her 5 times in concert and she’s amazing.
Girl Going Nowhere for her Opry induction always gets my vote
This woman is so authentic in her music. I believe she wrote this song about her dad. She captivates you with her guitar playing and her winding melodic vocals. She can also show her crazy side with her song writing .
Another great one is her first “ Girl going nowhere “ yall should really check it out too!

Next - Lainey Wilson - Wildflowers and Wild Horses! Lainey is blowing up Country and bringing country back!
Love Wildflowers and horses by Lainey.Reminds me of something the late great Chris Ledoux would sing.
Heart like a truck! Love this song
Watermelon moonshine is a great song. And Country's cool again is good too.
They did Martha Devine
@@Melody-bourbonite4life your right, I had to search it. It was about 2 yrs ago.
@firefighting_yeti yeah it's been awhile. I love ashley but that is my favorite song of hers well that and "fat and famous "

Love the live with Church. It’s on my playlist! ♥️
Yes! I love when singers sing better live than on their records.
My favorite Ashley McBride song!!❤
I second the vote for Gospel Night at the Strip Club from Ashley. It reminds me of Kristofferson To Beat The Devil
Thirded
Ashley sang Martha divine that y'all checked out. Love watching y'all react.
This is amazing! Ashley has always been a favorite. Now I have another song to add to my favorites play list!
Great reaction! This is one of my favorite songs of hers.

Bonfire at Tina's please
My first time hearing her playing this song live with just her and her guitar which is amazing. I instantly became a fan. The song was about her dad
Yall definitely have to listen to the live from London version. She tells how this song came about. It’s her and her guitar.
the live one is definately worth listening to...and it has another verse...
Ashley mcbryde is one of my favorite artists. She is so good. She did the song you reacted to "Martha Devine " where she went after her daddy's lover
Always good to have more Ashley in the mix! This one is always bittersweet for me. A lot of the specifics don’t apply to my dad but the feeling does for sure.

i lost my father a few months ago and a lot of the things she sang about her old man described my father thank you i think it is my new favorite song
I saw her from the 5th row of a small venue. This song had everyone in tears.
Love this song!
Great choice! Ashley usually is feisty. She was the one in the hardware store buying the shovel and rope and going after her daddy's lover lol. Now that you've heard this song, you should check out the live version. She is a wonderful storyteller and there's another verse that was cut for the album.
Yay!! I requested this months ago!! Happy she bribed for it!
You guys would love Ashley's fat and famous song live in London and her Opry debut of girl going nowhere this girl is way underrated
Both great choices!
Both great songs
This song is just beautiful. It's so mellow, and yes, Dustin, melancholy, but somehow it makes me happy every time I hear it. You guys need to check out her tune "Southern Babylon". It's kinda ghost story-ish.
Oh!! I LOVE that one!! Anything of hers is good, though! I've never heard a bad song by Ashley.
Theres a really good live version of this on youtube labeled “Live in London” looks like a fan cam recording but its got really good sound and she tells the story behind her writing the song before singing it.

I think you guys were thinking about Miranda Lambert in the beginning.
Wonderful song.
One of my favorites. Sometimes I just play the album all evening. Love her
Great choice Joanna.
Absolutely excellent. Reminds me of my childhood and my grandpa.
GREAT SONG❤
Great song!!! ❤
Love this song. Another like it is These Boots by Lainey Wilson. Thanks to your wife for this one.
Glad you are reacting to this song! Check out the live version with Eric Church.
Do her live version of this.
She adds another verse!
she wrote it about her dad....she does a live veraion where she tells about the song....plus it has another verse
You all should listen to "Porch Light" - Josh Melony, I think you guys will appreciate his music and voice, keep up the amazing work you two, love watching your channel.
Keep up the good work guys
Listen to the live version, the fourth verse is even better!
You should listen to her live version when she explains the song & her dad before she sings it. She is the one playing the acoustic guitar.
Hank Williams Jr - That's How They Do It In Dixie
Darryl Worley - Family Tree
Vince Gill - One More Last Chance
A similar song - Randy Travis, "He Walked on Water".
She has a duet with Carly Pierce that is excellent, Never Wanted To Be That Girl. Can't remember if you have already reacted to it or not.
❤❤❤
a good one to go with this is ghost in this guitar by Keith Urban
Miranda Lambert is the one with the shotgun you were thinking of.
You guys should consider checking out Ellie King's The Let Go.
you reacted to Martha Devine, she is feisty
ya’ll should check out Joanna Connor band walkin blues, she rocks the guitar!!
I really love this song. It was simple and beautiful and had a hard-hitting message. I will say kerosene is actually by Miranda Lambert so I think you were confusing them because of the title of the song
It was Ashley's Righting.
Ashley is outstanding and does things her way.
You might give “Brenda Put Your Bra On.” Solid tune
I absolutely love that one. And they’d have to do it with the official video - and watch it. I second this vote.
This was about her Dad
You might try her song Brenda get your bra on. Just for some fun 😆
Request: “My List” & “Who’s That Man” by Toby Keith.
Martina McBride - How Far
You where thinking of Miranda Lambert
I'll add another vote for gospel night at the strip club by ashley Mcbride
You where thinking of Miranda Lambert at tge beginning of the video.I think but I could be wrong.
Please listen to Ashley : Brenda put your bra on!!
The BEST Miranda Lambet songs with AMAZING lyrics is VICE and TIN MAN!
I second Tin Man!
