Sorry, are you referring to the serial monitor? If you click serial monitor icon located in the upper right side, it'll open the serial monitor window and restarts the sketch.
Your Video was very informative. But I am getting zero values for all readings on serial monitor. I have used Arduino Mega. And I have made 4 connection SDA,SCL,VCC and gnd. kindly help me to sought out.
Hi. I used similar code and components as yours for the testing the gyro. But when I ran the code, why I get all -1 values except the temperature? However, the temp is same values when the code runs. I've tried to check the pins assignments and the soldered pins but all of them are fine. Anything you would like to recommend or any tips for me? Thank you, sir.

Look at time 17:32 , lines 233 and 234. It seems that buffer index [2] was accidentally skipped . After correcting it in a way that AcY is built from [2] and [3] and AcZ from [4] and [5] things work like a charm. Thanks for this excellent video and well commented code example.

Yeah i am having the same problem, I am also using an arduino mega, have you figured it out?

Try connecting SCL to pin A5 and SDA to pin A4 instead of digital pins 4 and 5.
