  • Jamie and Doug take on some very personal questions and comments submitted to them through Instagram. Hear about where they are at on their fertility journey, and Jamie shares her eye opening Telehealth call with an At-Risk OBGYN. She discusses whether there is still a chance to conceive naturally, or if IVF is their best option for the immediate future. Doug and Jamie also answer for the first time how they were on the verge of divorce while Jamie was 6 1/2 months pregnant with their first child. They also touch on how Jamie finally found her dad by matching with his sister on Ancestry, and how his side of the family took to the news. Doug and Jamie also provide a sneak peak into their time at Married at First Sight, and who in the MAFS family they stay in touch with.

I like that Doug was honest about his distance from God and not just say what is expected to say.

I loved couple couch, it was awesome to keep up with the couples who are still married. Seeing house purchases, pets, kids etc is great. I even enjoy updates with people who remain single that’s just a little more specific to how they were on show like Paige, obviously I couldn’t care about Chris (except if he’s receiving his karma for how he was to her). Have seen every MAFS season during airing, seeing how the show evolved I think early season had extra hurdles like housing, solo honeymoons.

You guys are great . I was fortunate to be on a flight to Syracuse with you and your family recently. I was star struck to say the least . You’ve been a favorite since the mafs beginning and love that you’re always genuine. I wanted to say hello and that you’re a family favorite but Didn’t want to intrude in family time. I will was so excited to share with my sister you were on the flight and actually spoke to me in passing while wrangling the kiddos for a potty break . Thanks for just being you on and off the shows and pod casts.

For optimal fertility make sure whatever medication you take for thyroid that it results in your TSH to be between 1-2 for optimal fertility. Above 2.5 is higher miscarriage risk

I do feel like what you explained that if you didn’t have your 2 kids you would be a wreck and so depressed if you had to do all the testing and procedures ect everything without having a baby. That’s exactly how I do feel sadly since I don’t have a baby yet and 2 miscarriages in a row all the testing, 1 ovary. It’s not over but yea it does make me a depressed wreck as you described you would be it’s my abosolute worst nightmare I feel i should be next to have a baby next. But it’s inspiring that you went through loss more than once and have babies now

You don't find it here, there or in church. You find it in yourself. Anyway, thanks for the q and a.
