I think everyone can relate to this ballad. I know I can't.
I get Hotel California 00:00 thru 00:23. Not plagiarism - I would never blaspheme, because everything Trey does is uniquely and purely him. I just mean that I hear the influences. I am trying to figure out what else I hear at 00:23 - maybe Billy Joel - Movin' Out, but I'm not sure. I love listening for the nuances in all of Trey's work. There are so many layers to everything he does. I hear something I missed before every single time I listen or watch his stuff, throughout every medium. There aren't even words for how much I love Trey Parker. He is without equal in art/ music/ entertainment/ comedy, AFAIK.

I really want other artists - like all the true talents in music - to do a revue of Trey Parker's musical canon. I can just hear/see Brendon Urie or Bo Burnham or someone getting up on stage and playing this. These images will live and exist inside my imagination until they happen IRL, God-willing.

It's crazy to think they were just 16-17 when writing this! Funny, musically talented, and can actually finish a whole album of funny and cheesy but damn memorable good solid songs! Eat yer heart out Owen Benjamin! (who is becoming more mental each day, it seems...)
