Among the digital marketing channels, search engine optimization or SEO is very popular. But, is SEO still a good career in 2024 & beyond? 😕

You are the only one in youtube who is telling that seo is not good in 2023..but others are telling that seo is the backbone of it industries and has huge growth..just take a look at the competition of java developers then tell which is more saturated and hell
SEO is the oldest digital marketing channel, so its heavily crowded compared to any programming job. Also AI chatbots will disrupt the SEO industry very soon. Most of the others are mentors and they want to sell courses, so hiding the reality.
exactly bro even the software industry is saturated with developers. people only know about the fairy side of the software industry. They don't know the actual unemployed crowd.

@@shibamsarkar27 bro he is chewtiya if you have skills you can grow in this field even I have seen people getting 1 lakh salary with 5-6 years of experience I agree that this field is very competitive but you'll see many people who don't even know D of digital marketing. 90% of people fail to do digital marketing because they don't learn new things. Better if you understand that every field has competition

SEO is going dead for 100% damn sure! People who have lot of money, they can buy tools and become SEO pro. Its not like you have 10 yrs experience in SEO and people give you the work. For doing SEO as a freelancer, you atleast need a $1000/month tools to do all things in SEO and still they promote their services on google ads just to get some 2 or 3 clients.
Very harsh reality in SEO and people not telling this because "Unko unka dhanda chalana hai, SEO courses sell karna hai"🤣
Loved the fact that manoj bro tell the exact truth and salary bhi toh nhi milti na. Almost 90% customers for ecom companies comes from ads, word of mouth and other marketing so why they hire SEO just to showcase. In india, companies even dont have 2 seo tools in their hand and they hire you as an intern and tell to rank 10 keywords in a month (Not possible at all, salary is then diff topic)
Absolutely. SEO methods are changing, with generative AI and AI chatbots answers on SERP, its more challenging, add strict algo update frequently. Better focus on other channels

I would suggest avoiding SEO, and focus on other skills like copywriting, storytelling, paid media etc.
You can get an overall basic knowledge but don't deep dive
